Aside: As mentioned earlier in the thread, the adorable Zerg images were used for references since they're easily-recognized twists on biological abominations. This will not be a StarCraft crossover either way. EDIT: Feel free to keep using Zerg to fit your mental imagery, just be aware it isn't a conversion, merely an approximation.

This way, if our Friend is the wrong size, we can make host the right size (and shape) to fit!

  1. If we have two friends who are each capable of wearing the other as a hat, is the one touching the ground the one that gets powers?
  2. Can they swap by doing a flip?

Wait a second.Just to be entirely clear, are our Friends actually cute as long as you don't think/look too close, or are they actually the standard bio-abomination aesthetic and the links are just indicative of the fact that QA thinks they are cute?

I thought it was the former, but suddenly I'm having doubts.

What if we make one big friend who can flip over with a little friend on either side, that way we can have two different hat friends available to one stronger friend.

1: Yes. 2: That's question 1 only rephrased, so yes. They wouldn't properly "switch" until they touched the ground again.

You don't think that would work. Hats should work even if you're hanging upside-down from the ceiling if you've put them on correctly. However, having one friend with two potential hats makes it a matter of perspective and thus invalid.

OOC: QA's first attempts will not be cute to anyone save for herself, except maybe in behavior; "Shared Sights" exists as a Stranger power to make others perceive them the way she does. If Creature Features is chosen, she will be able to amend them to being ugly cute or even genuinely cute with the assistance of other shards.

You don't think so; the degree of separation presented by their shared hat would ruin it. Minus said separation (a ceiling-walker and ground-walker), you're not sure, but leaning toward "yes." QA also suspects such an arrangement would almost certainly be impractical for everything save psychological warfare.
 
How many people can benefit from the same hat? If we made ten Friends and a Friend with ten legs and it put one leg on each other Friend's head would they all get an appropriate power?

Also, does the Earth's atmosphere count as a hat? It covers our head, after all. How hard would it be to designate the Earth a Friend? Or would the oceans be the hat? No, no, the oceans are facial hair. I wonder what power the Earth would get from its atmosphere-hat.

Obviously we remove the hat in the middle if we attempt this. Also thats shockingly unimaginative for QA, clearly we make one very tall friend with a head coming out where his but would normally be.

If the front and back halves of the hat-friend looked different, would the friends wearing different parts of the hat-friend get different powers?

Would a two-in-one hat give two different powers depending on how you were wearing it, or would it give a single power with two modes to correspond to its construction as a single hat with two modes?

You don't think so; the "hat" would instead be standing on them. Maybe if you made something like a really large, semi-flat plate?

You don't think any of those would work. You could probably use a flower pot as a hat, but that's not anywhere close to the same thing.

You're also pretty sure every other shard and :Mother: would yell at you if you converted the planet into something capable of wearing hats.

1: You honestly don't know. 2: You think it might depend on the type of two-in-one hat. You don't believe it would give you two separate modes no matter how you wore it, but it might give you some kind of Changer ability.
