Siesta seems pretty dead set on not letting Louise do anything with magic involving her head. You decide to try to come up with a different solution. The answer hits you almost immediately. "Actually," you say, "I know someone who knows memory manipulation arts."
"Eh," says Tiffania. "You do?"
"Yeah. She doesn't use magic to do it, but she can both erase and restore memories." Or at least you're pretty sure she can. You've never actually seen Cologne manipulate people's memories, but Shampoo has, and Cologne trained her. And has over two hundred years of experience on her. And even if Cologne can't do it, which you highly doubt, Shampoo should be able to.
'Yeah, this can work.' "If we could get back to Japan, she could almost certainly restore Siesta's memories."
Siesta stares at you, a look of concentration on her face. One that abruptly drops into a look of exasperation as she turns to Tiffania. "Okay, I give up. What did he say?"
Now it's your turn to be surprised. "Wait, can't you speak Japanese?" Tiffania helpfully translates for you.
"Wait, can't you speak Japanese?"
"No," Siesta replies. "But some of the elders from my hometown speak it. I can recognize some of the words, but I don't understand it."
"I see," you say.
"What Ryouga was saying earlier was that he knows someone in Japan who can restore lost memories!" exclaims Tiffania, a wide smile on her face.
"You do?!" asks Siesta, a look of hope bubbling to the surface.
"Yes!" you reply. "It'll probably take about a month to get there, but if we can get her to take a look at you, she'll be able to put them back, right as rain!"
"Ryouga says yes, that it'll take a month to get there, and something about rain being right!" translates Tiffania. Apparently, turns of phrase don't always translate correctly. You take note of this and almost immediately forget it.
Siesta promptly stands up, retrieves a pack from the closet, and begins gathering her things. In ten minutes flat, the maid is packed and ready to go.
"Holy cow these rooms are well equipped," you state.
"Cows are sacred, these rooms are well stocked," says Tiffania
"Oh no," says Siesta. "This is what I always bring with me when I go traveling."
You briefly wonder if she's got experience with a lostness curse as well, but quickly shake off the notion as ridiculous.
"Alright, let's go," says Siesta, stepping out the door.
"Wait," you say as you grab her pack and drag her back inside. "Not yet."
"We should at least let Saito know what's going on before we leave," says Tiffania.
"Do we have to?" asks Siesta.
"Yes," you say, and she groans. The maid clearly isn't too fond of the idea of interacting with Saito. Which is odd considering that she doesn't remember ever meeting him.
"Besides," you add. "Even if you're ready to go, we still need to pack for Tiffania."
"I still need to pack for the trip."
Tiffania translates, and Siesta suddenly takes notice of the large pack you've been carrying around the whole time you've known her.
"Were you already planning on going somewhere?" the maid asks.
"...Let's just get back to me and Tiffania's room," you say, not feeling like explaining your curse.
"Ryouga says 'Let's just go to Tiffania's room.'"

A few minutes of careful searching later, you stumble across the room. "Aha! I knew marking it was a good idea."
Siesta looks at the door with 'This one' carved into it, then at the door on the opposite side of the hallway. Which, coincidentally, was also the door to her room. "Um..."
"Yeah, yeah, we know," you say, and proceed to open the door and go in.
You and Tiffania take a moment to pack her clothes. Since Tiffania doesn't have a pack yet, you just add her stuff to your own pack. As the trip was intended to be short term, the half-elf girl doesn't have much with her. You'll probably have to find a place to buy clothes for her very shortly. As things are, however, you're about as ready to go as you're going to get, short of raiding the local stores for more gear. And since you don't even know what the local currency is, that's probably not a good idea. Not that you're foreign to the idea of bartering.
You still haven't seen Saito or Louise. They're... probably just not back yet.
How do you find them?
