RWBY: fixing the world (or ruining it, up to you)

ok all spells, skills and traits have been added to your character sheet.

I only gave you 2 spells instead of the 3-4 I originally thought of giving you (mostly because I could not think of anything weak enough to grant this early.) so instead I leveled up the spells to 5 each. Plus the spells are pretty darn strong as it is.

Also in case it is not realized looking at the spells for Dustcasting vs the spells for Aura Magic Aura magic=White mage Dustcasting=Black mage in FF terms.

finally vote will close in 2-3 hours tops.

Those spells are very nice, not quite as anti-humanoid as I would of preferred but definitely nice

ya thats what your dustcasting spells are for lol! ;) Have you seen taser? or wind blade? what about water ball? all three are pretty solid against any target.

as I said before Black mage is Dustcasting White mage is Aura magic. or in other words Aura magic will never give you very much to use against humanoid targets.

Yeh though white magic is the sort of buffs and debuffs(to grim) so I take it we could create or learn an aura spell that restrains enemies right?

Anyway, Update may be up tomorrow instead of tonight just too tired after helping my friend for the several hours I did and then the chores I had to do lol sorry all.

Intro part 3: meeting Yang! (sorry)

    • "Oh, you don't have to leave would you like to meet my sister?" Ruby asked with puppy eyes. "She is a first year like me! Though your own age of course."

    "I suppose I can spare the time" Lux agreed after a moment of thought. "I must admit I am curious to see if your sister is as interesting as you."

    "Oh you're just saying that to be nice." Ruby stammered blushing before quickly recovering and grabbing Lux's hand. "Now c'mon lets go find her!"

    After a short search a long wild haired blonde waved out at the two of you. "Hey Rubes over here! I saved you a seat!" Ruby swiftly brought you to her apparent sister.

    "How's your first day going, little sister?" She asked as you arrived. "And who is this?"

    "You mean since you ditched me and I ended up being yelled at by the first person I met? If not for Lux here taking the person to task I might still be dealing with her!"

    "ehhh, probably not if only because the dust vial she was shaking in your face would have exploded from the sneeze you were about to let out." Lux interrupted. "If it also set off the other boxes you could have ended up in the Academy hospital, though I doubt it would be worse than Aura exhaustion given how heavily the Schnee's usually protect their merchandise from accidents like that."

    "Wait seriously?" The elder sister asked. "Thank you for helping my littler sister then. The name's Yang. And see little sis! You made a friend I knew you could do it! Though I admit, I am surprised your intervention there worked so well given ummm...." Yang gestures at your tail and eyes. "By the way, how do you have 3 Faunus traits, I thought that it was only possible to have 2 at the most?"

    "Ah, that is a common misconception. Most Faunus have 1 trait and the occasional type of Faunus have 2 traits. However Faunus like myself, the rarest and strongest subraces of Faunus have 3 traits at the minimum." Lux answered with a proud smile. "The number of traits a Faunus has tends to be based on the rarity and strength of the subspecies."

    "Oh? So you are one of the strongest types of Faunus then?" Yang asked, quirking an eyebrow. "If your not a lizard like I first thought, then what kind of Faunus are you? A kind with some special 'hidden' traits?" Yang gestures mildly lewdly.

    "Yang!" Ruby gasped.

    "I do indeed have some hidden traits. Though likely not of the type you are thinking of." Lux stated with a mildly amused smirk before switching to a sly smile. "Not that I would need anything to help me with that. Dragon Faunus such as myself easily the best at whatever we put our minds too."

    "Oh? I hope your not Dragon me on with that comment." Yang said with a smirk.

    "*groan* Yang that was terrible! Also are you really a Dragon Lux!" Ruby asked excitedly quickly bouncing back from her sisters terrible puns.

    "If you don't believe me I can happily show off my fire breath later Ruby." You smile Ruby's enthusiasm and adoration soothing your riled temper from Yang's pun.

    "Oh? I hope you don't intend to get all fired up for my sister Lux. After all she tends to be a bit naive about such things. Who knows what will happen in the heat of the moment." Yang said smirking.

    "YANG!" Ruby shouted turning as red as a tomato.

    "Sorry Rub, but I have to look out for my little sister, Wyvern you like it or not."

    "I must say your repertoire is impressive. How much time do you spend working on these?" You ask quirking an eyebrow in mild amusement unflappable in the face of Yang's onslaught.

    "I just wing it as I go." Yang smirked. "I admit though I have plenty of practice. Seriously though, I wanna see you breathe fire too later. It sounds awesome."

    You smirk. "I didn't know my words lit such a fire under you Yang. Good to know you are properly impressed." You say giving her a taste of her own medicine. "However it looks like the speech is starting." you state gesturing at Ozpin who is stepping up to the Microphone on the podium.

    "Ahem, I'll...keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge--to hone your craft and acquire new skills. And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose – direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step." Ozpin finishes stepping away off to wherever he was going.

    "You will gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow your initiation begins." Glynda states after stepping up to the mic and taking over. "Be ready. You are dismissed."

    "He seemed kind of off." Yang said
    "Its almost like he wasn't even there." Ruby agreed.

    Scene ends_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

    Arriving at the Ballroom in the evening you look around to choose where you want to sleep and who to hang around before you go to bed.

    There are a few options that you can see. There are the two sisters you were talking too earlier Yang and Ruby. There was Juane who was walking around in his.... is that a ONESIE! hell no, your not going anywhere near that. You could torment the Schnee a bit with your presence if you wanted to, perhaps she will reveal as of yet hidden character traits? Then there is the quite Cat girl from earlier in the day reading a book in the corner. Hmmm, there was also that hyperactive orange haired girl over there talking non-stop to her stoic pink highlight black haired friend. They could be interesting to meet. Finally there was the two boys Arm wrestling in the corner with a few more watching. If you want to you intend to show off your strength that would be a good way to do it.

    [] Juane Hell no you are not going ANYWHERE near him dressed like that!

    [] Orange haired girl and stoic friend.
    [] Arm wrestling time! The brown haired one does look pretty strong though. perhaps not the best idea? Who cares how he looks, you can take him.

    Sorry for the wait busy and tired yesterday and just tired today. Anyway here is the update! (yes the guys wrestling are your future team. Who are probs still buttholes atm.) No bad choices though I promise!

    Also I apologize for being a terrible evil person. However this is how Yang is, blame the guy who created her character not me!

    nope she uses them all throughout the first 3 seasons. not sure about later though. but you get a pun once every several episodes. don't expect me to keep her like this constantly though.

    Ah really? Maybe my mind blocked them out or something. When I rewatched the series two weeks ago I only noticed the "I think we should start this semester with a YANG" line. Could probably be wrong, like I said, maybe my mind blanked away other puns!

    they are pretty rare but ik there are several. some are fairly subtle.
