Revan Quest (Star Wars)

[X]Taris. The Blockade is not yet fully in effect, and you can likely land unopposed in the confusion. Taking off later may be more difficult, however.

We should be able to pick up Bastila lickity split considering we're not unconscious for three days or however long it was. We can then grab T3-M4, Mission and the old Broskis Canderous and Zaalbar, get the Ebon Hawk and then break through the blockade with time to spare.

Or we could even possibly gather a decent assault squad. There's several Republic soldiers that'll be in bacta tanks on the upper level at a doctors if I recall, and we could possibly use some form of Force Healing to speed up their recovery? Then there's some Republic soldiers that land in the Undercity if I recall, with them all getting killed/turned into Rakghouls during the in-game time we're unconscious.. I think we turn up in-game and there's one still left?

So, we should be able to gather a sizeable group of Republic soldiers that could essentially be cannon fodder/back-up and a decent strike force. Then we'd have the core Strike Group of us and our Gang.

With the Ebon Hawk acquired, we could then use that to break into the Leviathan and launch an assault with our core group and then the bunch of Republic soldiers we could gather as we push forwards to slay Malak. Every body would be helpful. The Republic soldiers would all likely die in the assault, but hey ho they'd be actually useful for us for taking some fire away from us and our group and also they'd be more useful than sat around on the planet.

Could also use Bastila's Battle Meditation to make the Assault go even smoother.

We won't be picking up Carth though. His whining would drive us up the wall.

[jk] Seven lightsabers, Killer Bee style.

Don't forget to rap... :p

Honestly, I'd be up for that.

Anyway, so I think we should aim to get to the Undercity.. or whatever it was called where Bastila's Escape Pod crashed, as soon as possible. Likely also look at grabbing any Republic soldiers that crashed down there too on the way.

So the current plan looks to be this in a nutshell:

RECRUIT EVERYBODY!
-Except Carth, fuck him.

Meh, I can get behind that.

For some reason, I can't picture Kane armed with anything else. Besides, we might need a free hand to hold a blaster.
Yes, I still have given up on the idea to shoot blaster at people.

A hard choice. By going to Taris, we are giving up the best chance to board the Leviathan we will have for a while, and allies would not be that useful in assaulting it. The problem is, we have no plans about what to do after we kill Malak, which is a problem. We need time to make plans and some calm, so vacation on Taris it is.

Double lightsabers are for dolts, and double-bladed lightsabers are a bit... unwieldy.

With regards to Carth... frankly, his airing his grievances didn't register as whining to me. I saw and read much worse. Still. if we do want to reveal our identity in the near - or far - future, taking him onboard would be a bit... unwise, considering that he hates Revan. Of course in canon, when the big reveal came, Carth was willing to give Revan the benefit of the doubt... but that was at the end of the character development arc, and by that time the Ebon Hawk's crew had fought together for a while, and, depending on choices you make...

...what is it with people and dual lightsabers?
Honestly haven't a clue there is a reason the majority of Jedi and Sith use one lightsaber.
It give's the ideal balance between combat effectiveness, practicality and ease of use

Mission's one of my favorite characters. No way do I want to leave her and Zaalbar on that shit-heap of a planet. Plus, there's the people the the Undercity, who need our help to find the Promised Land, and Carth might need some help getting Bastila. Though, he does have a Jedi with him, so maybe not.

Well I like the power and versatility of dual sabers. Need a hand free? Turn one off then use a blaster/grenade/power. when in combat you can surprise them with the second or switch to a single to throw them off. Also of course you have a spare if one gets destroyed/stolen/lost.

At the very least you want your ship back. Ebon Hawk for the win.
