Revan Quest (Star Wars)

I'm just afraid that people will stick very closely to canon, when we really don't need to. And I don't see how we can convince our allies to join us (Revan) in assaulting Malak's flagship in a do or die assault.

Revan's charismatic as hell and an incredible tactician. He'll be able to think up a much better plan including Canderous, Bastilla, and the others compared to trying to do it alone, and have much, much better chances of convincing them to go along with it compared to storming the Levithan solo.

Does anyone know where Kreia is at this point in the story? Because if this quest ends up with Kreia, HK-47 and Revan teaming up it will be the epitome of cool.

[Jk] Dantooine: this hack job they call a memory wipe is just plain insulting. You should walk right up to the council and demand a refund

I always dual wielded in the game simply because you get to stack more lightsaber bonuses that way.

This game is modeately intriguing, canon derailment can get interesting.

I need to clear some points up because misinformation

1. Using 2 Sabers DOES NOT prevent Force-Use. It doesn't even hinder it. The force can be focused using hand motions that have Saber-variants for wielding a Saber but do not have too
2. The reason Jedi rarely dual- or double-Wield is because it takes more training. Training that could be spent being a diplomat or meditating. Dual-users prepare more for combat on average than their single counterparts. This means that Jedi mostly using single-Sabers doesn't mean Dual is bad. Remember every lightsaber is handcrafted to their user's specifications and there are 6 (at this point in time, I think form7 was an invention of Jedi Master Windu) main fighting styles that are mixed and blended individually. There is no "average" Jedi fighting style or weapon

[X]Dual Lightsabers

[X]The Leviathan. Assaulting Malak directly would likely be considered suicide if you were anyone else; as you're you, it's merely extremely difficult.

[X] Single Lightsaber
[X] Taris. The Blockade is not yet fully in effect, and you can likely land unopposed in the confusion. Taking off later may be more difficult, however.

The Assault Shuttle glides out of the Endar Spire, the battle all behind you, all but finished. One or two batteries still function aboard the Spire, occasionally spitting forth bolts of crimson, but the ship has been thourghly crippled at this point, and fighters quickly swarm any battery that reveals it is still in working condition. The occasional escape pod is jettisoned, some empty, some full, and you can feel a faint prescense in the force as one plumets towards the planet below- the Padawan from earlier, presumably with Carth and Trask.

You plot a similar course, guiding your shuttle towards the planet below, musing over your options. There was some temptation to land in the Upper city- while his paranoia might be annoying, Carth was both a decent gunhand and an excellent pilot, and the Padawan would provide an extra lightsaber; rarely a bad thing. It would also give you a chance to visit the good Doctor- Zelka Forn had a good dozen Republic soldiers in his care, and while they had been beyond his help, you were capable of healing with the Force, for all that it wasn't your speciality.

The Lower City was also attractive- Mission, Zaalbaar and Canderous were all there, and assuming things proceeded as before, Bastila would be too- the Vulkars had stashed her somewhere, and while you had been forced to wait for the race last time, you could likely track her down with careful manipulation of your bond, to say nothing of judicious use of Jedi Mind Tricks on the Weak minded.

Or you could just head straight to the Undercity. It wasn't someplace you were meant to land, but the Escape pods had managed to punch through, and you expected you could do the same. You might wreck the assault shuttle getting there, but if you were planning on stealing the Ebon Hawk, so that wasn't necessarily the most terrible thing.

You're brought out of your musings when the comm crackles to life. "Epsilon Heavy Two six four, you have deviated from flightpath. Please explain." The "or we'll shoot you out of the sky" went unsaid, but managed to carry over well enough regardless.

But that was fine. You were already entering the atmosphere, and no Comm tech would be eager to make an enemy of a Lord of the Sith. You just needed to buy a little time. A moment fiddling with the comms was enough to distort your voice- you had no real desire to attempt to mimic Bandon's voice- and you responded. "I am pursuing my prey. The Jedi Bastila has fled to the surface, and I aim to capture here." There. That sounded fairly Sithy.

A moment's pause before the other side responded. "Understood, Lord Bandon. We have notified the Base on the planet below to expect your arrival, and the commander has been informed to expect your arrival. We are sending coordinates for your approach now."

As promised, a series of coordinates followed, pointing you directly to the Sith Base you had once infiltrated in another life.

Where do you plan to land?

[]The Sith Base. You have Bandon's robes, and his lightsaber. You don't look entirely like him, but you might pass for him at a distance, especially with judicious use of the Force. You may be able to bluff your way through the Sith Base, and perhaps pick up the departure codes while you're at it.
[]Elsewhere in the Upper city. There are no shortage of landing pads in the Upper city. The Sith will investigate the landing site, but you will likely have time to make good your escape before they arrive. From there, you'll be free to seek out other survivors from the Endar Spire.
[]The Lower City. Landing in the Lower city is difficult, but doable, and will put you that much closer to Bastila, as well as making it easy to make contact with Mission, Zaalbaar, and the other denizens of the Lower City.
[]The Undercity. Will likely wreck the Shuttle, but gives you a chance to rescue Bastila and other Republic Troopers directly. Be Mindful of Rakghouls.

Time to get a small assault force on our side.

What's the DC of these options? Is the Sith Base super unlikely to succeed, whereas the Undercity is nearly guaranteed, or vice versa? Or are they all the same difficulty?

I ask because the Sith Base seems pretty appealing, but it also seems like it would be damn near impossible to pass off as Bandon in, especially with the dark Jedi stationed there.

That would be a very funny meeting though.

Dark Jedi: You're not Bandon?! Stand down or be killed!

Revan: Look, I have had a very long day, so let me tell it to you straight: I am darth Revan. Unless you want to die, you will not attack me, and don't even think of reporting me unless you want to govern over a smoking crater. I'm here to gather some people and then get out before this planet gets glassed by my dumbass apprentice, and I'd prefer it if you didn't get in my way.

Landing at any of them will be successful regardless. You may have to fight your way out of the SIth Base if you can't talk your way out, and you'll likely snap a wing off or otherwise screw up the shuttle if you head for the Undercity, but you'll land where you plan too regardless.
