Revan stalked the halls of the prison's command tower; her Inquisitorial disguise intact. The few Imperial soldiers or officers that she encountered pressed themselves against the walls as she walked past; not willing to anger one of the notoriously unstable Inquisitors. She entered the turbolift to the central command hub, and that was enough to dissuade anyone else from entering the turbolift. In a matter of moments she found herself walking out into the central command hub of the entire prison. From here, one could wreak an inordinate amount of havoc, as well as prevent any word reaching the outside world regarding the facility's status.
"Leave." Revan said, her voice modulated by the Inquisitor's helmet. Some of the staff got up and began to leave, but others were hesitant. She moved her hand towards the curious lightsaber she had recovered, slowly and with great theatricality; and that was enough motivation for the rest of the command staff. They scrambled to vacate the command hub, and Revan moved towards the hangar controls. Assigned to the prison was a trio of armoured transports - not a threat to a genuine warship, but with modifications to carry a small amount of fighters, the three of them together might equal the frigate she'd already stolen - as well as a wing of fighters. They were all currently in the prison's hangar bays, and so Revan remotely closed the hangar bay doors, and using the central command terminal's elevated access level, she shut out any other terminal save that one from opening them.
The communication system was next. Again, it was locked out from the central communications terminal, but Revan took extra precautions and took a lightsaber to it. No one was going to be transmitting from the prison or it's communications infrastructure without extensive repairs.
"We're in position and ready to strike." Came Canderous' voice over her comlink. Another confirmation came from Bastila's infiltration team. Each team would lead an attack on one end of the actual prison complex, breaking the prisoners out; with Bastila's team advancing further into the hangar bays to secure transportation for the three thousand prisoners held in the prison complex. They were going to have to use the cargo space on the armoured transports to fit them in, as well as the necessary provisions and equipment to set up some sort of base. Each of the Gozanti-Class armoured transports could carry four fighters as parasite craft; a fact Revan intended to make use of to bolster her small force. Everything else with a hyperdrive would also be taken - especially if it could carry cargo.
"I have secured the command hub. Proceed with the plan." She replied, the four thousand year old comlinks secure if only through obscurity. She sensed danger, and before the stormtroopers sent to retake the command hub from the woman who was manifestly not an Inquisitor had even arrived her lightsabers were alight. There were four entrances to the command hub - three doors, leading off into other parts of the tower, and the turbolift. The turbolift was locked down, but the prison's guards had managed to force the doors.
Stormtroopers streamed into the room, and Revan became a blur of motion. Blaster bolts stretched out in her vision as her lightsaber rent apart plastoid and flesh alike; a deadly cyan and orange blur. She pushed a stormtrooper carrying a flechette gun off his feet with the Force hard enough to send him through the closed turbolift doors. His lifeless body fell down the shaft, the sound of it's impact muffled by the ongoing violence.
Consoles exploded as panicked troopers sprayed blasterfire at Revan. The first wave of troopers were all dead, but force speed was taxing on the body. She took up a position in the centre of the room, using her twin blades to reflect the stormtrooper's own blaster bolts back at them. More and more of them steadily advanced upon her, and in what seemed a fit of madness she deactivated her lightsabers, closed her eyes; and thrust out her hands.
Dozens of stormtroopers were blown backwards; the sheer force behind the telekinetic attack instantly killing any of the stormtroopers it touched. The Force Wave contained such destructive power that even the durasteel walls of the command tower were affected. Although only a small amount of the wall was actually blown out into space, the sheer power of the wave had wrent and twisted any sections that remained. The interior floor and roof were similarly brutalised. Through the rapidly escaping air of the command tower; the sound of metal sliding on metal could be heard.
Revan opened her eyes; floating at the exact epicentre of the destruction. Her armoured feet clanged softly onto the ruined floor; and one of her lightsabers ignited in a flash of colour as she cut herself a hole in the floor. After effecting an escape from the collapsing section of the tower, Revan opened her comlink once more.
"Where are we on the breakout?" She asked. Through the Force, she sensed a large mass of beings moving towards the hangar bays; and a smaller mass retreating from them.
"We're heading towards the hangar bays now, and have secured our - GET THAT GRENADE LAUNCHER UNDER CONTROL - cargo. The secondary group have already launched all the fighters we can carry with us; and they're loading up the impounded ships as we speak." Canderous replied, the sounds of blasterfire and explosions carrying clearly over the comlink. Revan acknowledged the situation, then began to walk back towards the ship that had once been the
Eliminator. She'd left HK-47 in charge of it's defence, along with Juhani and Carth.
She arrived to find that her companions had held the airlock admirably; and entered the flagship of her nascent fleet. Juhani nodded to her, and Carth spoke.
"Judging by the fact that you just casually strolled back on to - what are we calling her again? Anyway, you just walked right back the way you came - I presume that means we won?" Carth asked.
"No, a dozen interdictor cruisers have just hypered in right on top of us." Revan said. "But yes, we won. Prepare to jump to hyperspace as soon as I've addressed the fleet and the calculations T3 uploaded have been accepted." Revan continued, her sarcasm melting away into military precision. She removed her Inquisitorial helmet and armour, leaving her only in dark robes. She quickly made her way to the bridge, and began to transmit to all the ships of her ramshackle fleet.
"We are ready to transmit, Master Jedi. All navi computers have been slaved to our own." One of the ex-Imperial officers said. With a nod from the Jedi, the broadcast to the ships moving away from the prison complex began.
"Many of you, I suspect, are wondering who I am; and why my forces have rescued you. I am Revan, a Jedi Knight who has only recently returned from the dark, distant places of the galaxy. I arrived home to see the Republic I loved and fought for replaced by a tyrannical state and the Jedi Order destroyed. My companions and I may very well be the last of the Jedi. Why did I rescue you? You have all proved yourselves willing to fight the Empire, and I hoped that you would form the initial recruits of such an effort. If you wish to hide, to run, then I will not begrudge you that. Please, speak to the pilot of your ship and you will be assigned to a shuttle heading for the Rim. If you wish to fight, stay." Revan concluded, then gave the signal to jump to the first stop on the fleet's journey - an empty pocket of interstellar space.
The ex-
Eliminator, the three
Gozanti class light cruisers dozen shuttles and light freighters formed up and, as one, shot off into the darkness of space. They left behind a ruined prison, devoid of prisoners, and a few scattered holo images of a woman in an Inquisitor's armour.
