Revan, Once More [KOTOR/SW]

Revan, Once More - 1.4
On this fulcrum, this single moment in time, the fate of the galaxy rested. On the nerve of a single Jedi. Revan took a breath, and steeled herself. She would not allow this Empire to stand, and she would not run. She had sworn an oath, between comrades in arms, to protect the Republic to her dying breath. She had no desire to betray that oath again. If in this dark future, this force-barren land, was where she was needed then so be it.

"I intend to fight the Empire, with or without any of you. You have all seen my abilities as a warrior, as a Jedi. Many of you will think me mad, for even contemplating such an attempt. But you that it can be done, in the depths of your mind. No Emperor can rule forever, and not even a Sith Lord can hold a galaxy without a fleet. If you have even a single shred of courage left in you, a single spark of righteousness, then fight with me. But if you wish to admit your cowardness, you may run to the escape pods and wait out the war that is coming. Now, make your choice - either fight or run." Revan said, her voice booming. Her mind reached out with the force, feeling the minds of all forty of the ship's remaning crew. Most of them ran to the escape pods, sprinting through the corridors of the ship, but a few stayed and made their way to the bridge.

Revan removed her mask and lowered her hood, sitting down in the command chair. She placed her mask on the console beside it, and looked over at the ten crewmembers who had decided to stay. Like the rest of the crew, they were human. She felt no deception in them, and fear in only a few. The darksider - the Inquisitor - had clearly acted like a typical Sith when dealing with his crew. The crew of the Ebon Hawk stood to the side.

"Ma'am, whw-ho are you?" The most senior amongst the defectors, a female lieutenant, asked. Revan smiled to herself at the question.

"That is more complicated a question than you could possibly imagine. For now, it shall suffice that you know I am Revan, a Jedi Knight of old. What position did each of you hold on this ship" She asked, and got her answer. The most senior amongst them, Windburn, was the ship's astrogator. There were several ensigns and a few marines to round out the beginnings of her new crew.

Carth took the helm, whilst Canderous was placed in command of the four marines. The rest of her crew readied themselves either running the ship or looking through the archives. Revan herself returned to Ebon Hawk and changed out of her armour, back into Jedi robes.

"Windburn, what is done with dissidents in this area?" Revan asked, sitting in her command chair. She needed at least forty people to properly run this ship, and she had twenty. But soon enough she'd have far more than one ship to run...

"Insurgents that were not classified as a threat were usually only watched or locally detained, ma'am. More serious troublemakers in this area of space were taken to Je'khar, a deep space prison for interrogation and... disposal. We - I mean the Eliminator - were based there, ma'am." The woman said, trying not to meet Revan's eyes.

"What sort of defences does it have?" Revan asked.

"Three Gozanti class light cruisers, a dozen TIE fighters and some fixed emplacements. Most of it's defence comes from secrecy, ma'am." Windburn replied.

"Can you get us past their security long enough to dock?" Revan asked.

"Yes ma'am, our codes are still valid. But, uh, they'll be expecting an Inquisitor. We told them we'd been seconded to one, ma'am." Windburn said, sounding worried.

"Did you tell them which Inquisitor, Windburn?"

"Uh, no ma'am. Such things aren't really - well the Inquisitors like to keep to themselves." She replied. Revan smiled, and began to plan.

In the control tower of the Je'Kahr Prison Complex, a group of bored ensigns and lieutenants sat at various stations, not doing much of anything. Any visitors, even scheduled ones, were so rare that control duty mainly boiled down to a chance to catch up on your sleep and/or hobbies. Command didn't care - hell, they usually joined in. Which was why it took almost five seconds for anyone to notice that the Eliminator had just exited hyperspace only a few thousand kilometres off the station.

"Sir! A ship's just entered the system - it's the Eliminator!" A bleary eyed ensign shouted.

"Well, are they broadcasting the correct security codes?" The control duty watch officer said.

"Yes sir b-" The ensign started, only to be cut off by his superior.

"Then you'll welcome them and give them landing instructions. That's an Inquisitor's ship, do you really want to delay it?"

"N-n-no sir." He said, and waved the Eliminator through. The watch officer promptly went back to his holo-thriller, and the ensign to fretting about blood-red lightsabers and hooded monsters.

Revan walked forward, confidant in her disguise. She had studied the personal styles of these 'Inquisitors', and used both the one from the Eliminator's personal effects and her own collection of various suits of armour and sith robes to pull off a passable imitation of an Inquisitor. Of course, the lightsaber and force powers lent the disguise a certain sheen of credibility, but Revan liked to think they were merely the desert to her disguises' main meal.

She walked through the airlock, helmet up and her own lightsabers hidden up her sleeves. She came to a security checkpoint, and her honour guard. Ten of those 'stormtroopers' standing five a side, and saluting as she walked through the airlock. Hopefully she could just walk through - no, the clearly terrified man behind the checkpoint had just asked her for her ID. He was a good one-ninety centimetres tall, fit, and with a relatively standard build. Nine seconds of gentle pressure to certain locations on his neck would be enough.

"This is the only identification I need, worm." Revan said, falling into a familiar role as she first lifted the offender off his feet with the force - a rookie mistake was to combine the lift and the choke, but really all one needed was a very small of precisely applied force. The lifting was simply theatrics for an expert. Revan closed her fist slowly, and gently reduced the flow of blood to his brain. Of course, to any and all onlookers Revan was crushing the man's windpipe, going by his frenzied clawing.

He collapsed, unconscious, and Revan carefully dropped him back into his chair. She was allowed through, and stormed onward. From here, she had two choices - she could take the prison's control centre herself, or leave that to the infiltration team crossing over from the Eliminator under stealth in spacesuits, and proceed directly to the prison block.

[x] Take the Control Centre yourself, and let the infiltration team deal with the prison block.

[x] Spearhead the attack on the prison block, and leave the Control Centre to the infiltration team.

Take the head, and everything else will follow.

^.^ An excellent update, with an excellent Revan.

Numbers will probably be useful in the prison block, and the infiltration team should have at least one lightsaber wielder, to allow them to play the Jedi card. Also, we look like an inquisitor. ...Not the best for reassuring prisoners.

Preventing outside communications (or self-destruct) is more important.

I am excited with this Revan. xD

Actually gonna be curious to see Revan's reaction to the.. pretty much nonexistence of man-portable shields like there were back in the "good old days"..

Well that and I'm curious to see Stormtrooper and other Imperial's reactions to shields on our comrades. I think the only thing that even had shields in Star Wars "canon" is the Droideka, and it had to stop moving and deploy to activate it.

Also personal stealth generators.
