Putting the Craft in Warcraft

[X] Request some thorium and some of the best quality steel.
[X] Schedule another priest or acolyte to come in and try forge both materials using light during the process.
-[X] Make hammers.
[X] Request a gold rod to replace our copper one.
[X] Side project:
-[X] Look into more magical metals in case Thorium doesn't work out.
[X] Spend at least one day of the week relaxing.
Actually that's true. I can't believe I forgot about Truesilver. A lot of Light Weapons involve Truesilver like Truesilver Champion.
Is truesilver even known about.

We probably need to try adding Light forged silver to the mix, so we should request some normal silver as well.

I don't think we know truesilver is even a thing.

Truesilver and Mithril should mix well enough.

@Lost Star, what's up with the skill progression overlap? I don't understand the purpose of it.
Apprentice 1 - 75
Journeyman 50 - 150
Expert 125-225
Artisan 200 - 300
Master 275 - 375
Grand Master 350 - 450
Illustrious 425 - 525
Zen Master 525 - 600
Legendary Master 600+

Thematic more than anything else. :) That's exactly the same as it is in WoW. It doesn't mean much aside from the lower end being the point where you can get the next level.

Actually, thinking about it. I think you should put truesilver as an Inlaid. Since it's used similarily to gold and silver.

Will do. Was gonna do silver too, but was debating whether to do it in story or out of it. In retrospect it's not that big a deal.

Truesilver is stronger than steel apparently.
Wow doesn't have to make sense :)

[X] Request some thorium, some of the best quality steel available, truesilver, mithril and silver.
[X] Schedule another priest or acolyte to come in and try forge all the materials using light.

[X] pick up a book on alchemy to study in our free time.

Was more talking about how it's used in inlays. One would think they would make stuff completely out of it. Anyway after this we can test how things inlaid with truesilver respond.

Eh we should just order the Gold to make a new rod. And we need to see about getting instruction in the next tier of blacksmithing and enchanting. And possibly expanding this elemental forging stuff to armors and robes.

Truesilver is the highest level enchanting rod we can make. Barring crazy Arcanite.

And since we're going to need to make a Truesilver rod anyway to use higher level enchants. Might as well do it now and save some gold.

Remember they prefer for us to keep the cost under thirty gold. However we will probably go over it a bit.

So is anyone else going to vote?

Ah.

We're gonna need to look for a teacher to break into new tiers of forging I gues.

If it's getting too expensive drop the Throium. We can already supposit that existing magical charge that isn't aligned with light is what's causing the problem. Steel is inert and we don't know what truesilver does so they test good.

Vote to consider. Feel free to change it since I'm sleepy right now

[X] Request the best Enchant rod that Officer Harding can get
[X] Talk to the priesthood via our Liason that if the pattern holds, Light Attuned Mythril should significantly affect Light based powers as LIghtning and Arcane does to their respective elements. However Joyce admitted that something felt 'off' and we believe that with more priest, particularly more skilled ones we can attune it well enough that the seemingly amplification affect would work on their powers
[X] Request some assistants from Officer Harding, There's a possibility that if we can propogate Light attunement correctly to amplify Priests and then we have a way to resist Fel Magic. The Assistants are to repeat the same (attune light) over multiple metals from tin to Thorium where possible. A priest should go over the results for each X number of assistant.
[X] Some primers on Light Magic , healing magic, Priest books and information on the former with Fel Magic should be requested from the priests
-[X] Focus our studies on the primers that will actually gives us the potential for actual enchantments and better atunement to the Priests. In particular learning the actual priest arts at the lower levels seems like a good way to start
[X]After we feel we're ready, use the best materials from Step 3 and work to fine tune the light attunement on a War hammer made with the chosen metal until the Priests are comfortable with it (does not feel off). Regardless every attempt should be tested
-[x]Rope in the Enchantment and Thorium Specialists if at all possible. Both of them have experience in their specialties that will benefit from a collective Project this important. We share the workloads together with the Assistants (IE we make and handle the attunement arrays while the Thorium expert and any capable assistant forge the Light Attuned Metal War Hammer )
[X] Fate Point: The King heard about us on a status report. He also heard about our rapid development and now the efforts we're making to develop Light Based something to counter Fel Magic and summoned us to meet with him in order to scope us out.
[X] Working week is 3/3/3/3/2/0/R where 0 is Drinking and R is report

You are missing a proper step before I give it to you.
DAMN IT!!!!!

Also how much time do we have until the King Achievement expires and is my Fate Point thing valid
And Dalaran has entire districts get devoured by the Scourge and the Legion, then the rest of the city is demolished by Archimonde through his horrifyingly powerful sorcery.

The only truly safe place to be is in Khaz Modan. But if we go there, we're never gonna make a difference in the setting. We'd do best to head north to Lordaeron, get attached to Arthas and Jaina's group, and then leave with Jaina when Arthas purges Stratholme.
Hearsay!

We're going to save Storm Wind and do the impossible
Remember they prefer for us to keep the cost under thirty gold. However we will probably go over it a bit.

Vote is long OK

Wasting a fate point for an acheivement. Is their supposed to be a noticeable bonus to it? I mean it's entirely possible that using it early could have us not pass muster then get dropped.

You've been in Stormwind for 5 weeks now. You have 7 weeks left.

Tick tock!

Technically your fate point is valid. If you want to use that, you can.
BTW what does this (the word Audience in particular) mean

My better half - Gain an audience with the King within three months after the first job
Not sure I agree with the fate point expenditure.
Feel free to copy everything except for that. Or just copy and frankensteinification it if you want

Possible but the whole fate point is not contingent on success but on the king being interested to scope an up and coming and who is potentially working on something revolutionary Blacksmith.
