Aye, it becomes glaringly obvious if see how her fighting changes when Tamiko is in trouble. The only factor is that the only person who was seeing it was Tamiko. Who has been established as being somewhat dense about this. She likes making people happy, but she can be down right terrible at reading people. See example A, Kimiko.

    You take a deep breath to calm yourself. There is nothing for you to fear, even if your uncle was not very happy with the morning. With an increased sense of confidence, you start walking toward your uncle.

    He seems to have noticed you already, as he throws the cigarette to the bin and steps out of the smoking zone to greet you. You hesitate for a second, before starting to talk.

    "U-uncle... I'm sorry... for worrying you. I-in the morning, I mean..." you stutter out, not entirely sure what you can say about that. Your uncle simply extends his arm and ruffles your hair.

    "Honestly, there's no need to be. I'm kind of at the fault too for overreacting..." he begins and takes a small pause, "...But, at that moment it didn't feel like that. You're not a morning person, I can tell, and with the phone line dead, well... I kind of assumed the worst, especially after the conversation last week..."

    He takes a quick look around and checks the time from his phone before adding, "But hindsight is 20/20. And I suppose you have had enough of an interesting day to tell while we wait for the doc?"

    Huh... Sounds like you got off rather light with that. It's not like you're complaining, but still.

    However, talking about your day was something you'd have done regardless, so it works out, "W-well, after just hanging around with Ariane in the Verrier's, we-"

    "Hang on, mind telling about this Ariane first?" your uncle suddenly interrupts you as you walk inside the hospital. You blink and try to think of something to say.

    "S-she's... a nice girl. A bit strange at times, but she smiles so much it doesn't really matter. S-she's quite small too and... w-wait, why are you asking this?" you look at your sagely nodding uncle suspiciously. There is something you're missing here.

    "Maa~, naturally I must find out about potential additions to the family, don't you think?" he says that casually, as if confirming the weather. Your eyes twitch.

    "I-it's not like that... And it wasn't a date," you immediately deny the accusations, "but she hasn't been to the city yet, so we just showed her around with Kishi. W-we toured around the city a lot, went to a cafe and the burger place before finishing in the library."

    "That's pretty much the classic date... Still, I didn't even know Big Boss Verrier had a daughter. He doesn't really talk about that kind of things in work." Frankly, you think there's a pretty good reason for that, but that'd be telling him about the world of Magical Girls, something you don't want to do at this point. It can wait for some other time.

    "G-guess he didn't have any reason to... A-and it's not a date!"

    "Well, true, it's called a double date when you're dating two people at once... But never mind that, looks like the doctor's ready."

    You don't even get a chance to deny the accusations as your turn number comes up. You'd get your revenge eventually...

    After introducing yourself to the doctor, a middle-aged man called Hayashi, you are once again lead to the familiar device with your uncle waiting for you in the lobby. Having done this once before, you realize you are in for a boring time unless you invent something to do.

    And as a Magical Girl, you are gifted with the incredible powers of telepathy that you promptly use to contact your newest friend, 'A-Ariane, are you there?'

    'Huh? Hi Tamiko! I didn't know this can be done so far away!' she answers back almost immediately, sounding pleasantly surprised to hear from you. It's been, what, slightly overtwo hours?

    'I-it has a pretty large reach...' something you haven't really tested before, 'but I just wanted to talk with you. D-did you have fun today?'

    'Of course! It feels awful, having to go back inside... But I am allowed to use a lamp now, so it isn't as bad!' she is talking quite fast, 'And I want to go back to the city with you. And Kishi too. There is so much to see still!'

    'W-well, there's another even bigger center to the South, and to the East is Kazamino,' you offer with some hesitation. Trips there would require a bit more planning than today... 'I-I guess we could go there later? B-but maybe not immediately...'

    'Eh? But why?'

    'B-because they are so far away, and with school it can be difficult to find the time...' you pause for a second, realizing that the operation shouldn't take much longer, 'A-anyways, I saw your Soul Gem earlier... Y-you should take the chance to cleanse soon with the grief seed, you know...'

    There is a brief silence on the other end, 'But... I already did? Isn't it a waste to use a seed again so soon?'

    Oh.

    'G-good, never mind then... But it looks like I am wanted, so let's talk more later. Okay?'

    'That's okay! Let's go see the Sun again when you get more time... Bye!' she sends back brightly, ending the conversation

    Soon after, you are dragged out of the device with the bed, and you find yourself face to face with the doctor. He seems to be nonchalantly looking through the resulting scan pictures on his computer.

    "Hmm, to me it seems like the broken ribs have pretty much healed themselves. I can't pick any fractures or remains of such. You are quite the fast healer, so I don't see any reason to continue the release from P.E., miss Higekino." The doctor pauses for a bit and turns the chair to face you.

    "I think that's pretty much it. If the pains start again, just book yourself another time here. But aside from that, you are free to go pick your stuff, there's no real need for anything else for you here. Have yourself a nice evening!"

    You rise to sit on the bed and nod at the doctor. After thanking him properly, you make your way to the locker room to change your clothing. This visit was a lot more pleasant than the last one, and checking the Soul Gem just in case yields no signs of a witch.

    Looks like you'll have the rest of the evening free.

    What do you do?
