While you wait for the aides to get the ride ready, Ariane takes the chance to de-transform back to her pajamas and gleefully goes to look for some actual clothes to put on. With you waiting for her in the now dark hallway, you decide to take the chance to call up your uncle. You may be staying in the town for a bit, so it is probably only fair to warn him beforehand.
He picks up rather fast, although he sounds considerably calmer than earlier today, "Hello! Huh, what is it Tamiko?" There's a faint but strange sound in the background, almost as if something was being fried, "Do you need the ride now, because, uh..."
He sounds like he is busy, so you cut straight into the point, "N-no, I just called to warn you that I will be going to the town with a friend. I-I might stay for a while."
There's a brief silence between you, followed by your uncle inquiring about that, "Oh, and who is the lucky girl today?" You don't even pause to think as you are already babbling out, "S-she's called Ariane. W-we met today, watched the sunrise and- ...w-wait, what are you-?"
"Don't worryyy~, just have fun on the date with your new waifu!' *click* the call ends so suddenly it takes you a moment to comprehend what just happened. You immediately proceed to curse your evil uncle and groan out loud at the unfairness of it. Why is it that you are treated some sort of Casanova? Just because you chose your words poorly that one time... or that other time... Well, it is still unfair!
"Tamiko, why are you talking about getting revenge on the devil? You're scaring me..." You turn to look at Ariane, who is once again illuminating the hallway, albeit by using her light green Soul Gem as an admittedly bright lantern. She has switched the pajamas to a long white jacket over a skirt and stockings. The frills are limited to the ends of the sleeves and the neck piece is lined with fur.

You groan miserably and apologize, "S-sorry, I just called my uncle to warn him that I'll be in the town for a while. H-he's utterly evil, I tell you!" Ariane just stares at you curiously and you hastily try to change the subject, "A-anyways, do you have any places you'd like to visit? I-it must be difficult to choose."
Ariane seems contemplative as she tries to think of something to say. "Well, I have always wanted to go to a beach? I heard miss Celia say that they are so beautiful... with the Sun shining on warm sands and the Sea splashing gently against you... But father says they are not open in Winter..."
You hug the suddenly sad-looking girl immediately, "D-don't worry, let's all go to beach when summer comes, okay? T-there are many great places in town too, and I could show you around." Well you think there were some public bathhouses in the town, but you doubt they would compare to an actual beach. Still, she nods at your suggestion, and you let go, "I-I think we should go somewhere to eat... I know at least one place if you like hamburgers?"
"Hmm, I don't think I've never had one... But it sounds delicious, let's go!" Ariane grabs your hand with her free one and drags you through the house to a door the has stairs leading down. You also discover that Mr. Verrier has apparently a small parking area under the house, where two suited people are waiting.
The first one is a bit tired red-haired male and the other one a stern purple-haired woman. They immediately start guiding Ariane towards a rather fancy black car with darkened windows. You follow closely behind and get into the vehicle.
The backseat of the car is probably quite dark normally. However, it seems that the two aides have folded out of the way some kind of metal curtain between the rows. You are quite sure it can be put back quite fast should the need arise, though. The effect is noticeable, as you can see the road ahead, and the dimming on the windows seems to shift to allow you to see through
The two aides take the front seats with the woman driving and the male turning on a tablet. As you and Ariane fasten your seat belts, the woman turns to look at Ariane, "We are ready to leave miss, where do you wish to head?"
"Umm, I don't know... Tamiko, you said you knew this place, right?" Ariane looks pleadingly at you.
"W-well, yeah... There is this place called AMERIKANMEGABÃGÃ in the center. I-I don't really know how to get to the city from here, though..." You turn towards the two workers, "I-I'm Tamiko, by the way, pleased to meet you."
The expression on the woman's face twitches a it at your words, although you are not entirely sure why and whether it is in annoyance or actual amusement. It is difficult to tell with the sunglasses, "I see, the navigator can find our way there, so there is no reason to worry. Please, enjoy the ride."
The vehicle starts moving fast and speeds out of the garage through the entrance opening at the end of ramp. Ariane presses her face on the window and watches in childish amazement as you pass by several different landscapes, "So... amazing..."
You chuckle at the innocent glee, but refrain from disturbing her sight-seeing by talking. Instead, you take the moment to make a telepathic call to Kishi to see if she is awake... Come to think of it, does Ariane know about telepathy? It seems like something you should tell her at some point.
But for now, 'H-hello Kishi! How are you doing?' You are actually surprised to hear her answer back almost immediately. She sounds like you completely took her by surprise, 'O-oh, g-good morning, Tamiko! I-I didn't realize you were a-awake already?'
While you'd really like to do that, you refrain from huffing at the implications. You do not sleep late! 'Yeah, woke up early and went to town. I-I'm still going around... W-where are you? It sounds like you are busy.'
This time she takes a moment to come up with an answer, 'I-I'm actually at the E-Eastern parts, j-just hanging around.' You think there's more to it than that, but unfortunately you get shaken out that by an announcement from the male aide: "We're here."
'T-that sounds nice, but gotta go now. S-see you' you hastily send Kishi before hopping out of the car with the two workers staying in the background. The fast-food restaurant in front of you has become quite familiar to you once more over the last week. However, it seems as good as any place to just hang out with your newest friend. However, a thought occurs to you as you stare at the big bolded letters on the roof of the building.
"Y-you know, weren't you supposed to send a message to your father every now and then? M-maybe you could do that with pictures or selfies of these places... or even videos?" You rub your neck awkwardly, cringing at the suggestion. It sounded a lot better in your head.
Ariane doesn't seem to notice your reaction, as she cups her hand in delight and exclaims, "That sounds lovely! Uh, here, hold and press this button..." She brings out a device you suspect to be some kind of phone from her pocket. It is difficult to tell, as you have never seen one like that before.
This is enough to set you off as you awkwardly turn to look at your friend, "S-sorry, but what exactly does this thing do? I-I don't really get it." Ariane blinks at your reaction and giggles, "Oh, sorry, I suppose it may be a bit difficult system for those not used to it. But come here and stay close, let's take one of those selfies first! We can make videos after I explain this to you later!"
That does sound acceptable, and you step next Ariane as she tries to get a good pose with both of you standing in front of the restaurant. The camera lens doesn't flash at all, so you are left a bit baffled as she soon takes back the device and starts tinkering with the screen, clearly sending it to her father.
With that done she pockets it and turns back to you, "Say, how does this restaurant eating even work? I don't think I've been to one before..."

Frankly, I feel the morning deserves a bit closer look to the events than a single update. Still, I'll try to not get stuck to a single place to keep the day moving.
