Well.. here we go again...

[X] Raid Vilgax's Prisons

32 + 42 + 8

82 (success)

You had to admit, you were reluctant about the duo of Charlie and Unikitty. Not as reluctant as if you just met them, but still.

But as per usual, they pulled through. Unikitty sweet-talked the guards while any she didn't get to surrender were handled by Charlie.

Later, you had to admit, the haul was great.

(....Yuu wisely reminded yourself to not refer to them as that out loud)

Charlie had actually freed a few prisoners. Most just wanted to get out of Dodge, which you didn't exactly blame them for.

In fact only two stayed.

The warty greenish guy screaming about something called "Pakmar" didn't seem overly useful, but who knows?

But The red four armed princess with the cool helmet though? Perfect!

"Are you the owner of my rescuer?" She said Seriously.

"Er, yeah, kind of. Why?"

"My husband to be!"

You stare blankly.

"CHARLIEEEEEEEEE!"

Reward: gained Looma Red Wind from Ben 10: Omniverse as a Hero Unit (and a Bride to be because of alien customs).

....Pakmar from Ben 10: Omniverse is here too. He is added to Jack's Stewardship block as +5.

[X] Not Awkward Family Reunion!

Your grandmother never liked hospitals. She said they always reminded her of sad times and stopped her from living life to the fullest.

Everyone respected her wishes (if only because hell no was dad stepping in with his mother) but sometimes you wondered if that was the best choice.

As you entered the room, it was nice to see how happy Grandma Spicer looked to see you, even with the exhaustion and the tubes.

"Ha! Jack! You finally stuck it to Chase I hear."

"Pffffftttt. He fired me."

"Bahhh. Never appreciated you anyways. How goes the new empire? I hear Chase put a hit on ya."

You noticed how proud she sounded.

"... that's BAD, grandma."

"Nah. Just means he's scared of your potential."

You were sure he was just being a Petty Asshole, but it was a nice thought.

"Hey Jack. Take this."

You gasped. A new heli-pak! You hadn't admitted it but yours got destroyed running from Chase.

"Thank you Grandma. For everything."

Dead silence.

".... Grandma?"

More silence...

Reward: you get a new heli-pak.

Your Grandma left this realm on a happy note.

[X] Defenses

66 + 26

92 (success)

Even your dumbest Jack-Bots seem to pick up on your bad mood when you return from the hospital. Even Robo-Jack doesn't snark.

The whole group gives it their all to build defenses. There's a moat, a missile launcher, there's a turret!

They really went all out.

Reward: successfully set up a ton of defenses.

[X] Welcome to the Jack Pack
-Huckleberry Hound

35 + 17

52 (success)

You were Le Mime and you decided to take initiative here. He realized that alot of you.... Really weren't people Lovers.

So after wracking his brain for people who could fill that slot... He hears annoying singing and goes to smack the person quiet.

"Oh; hello there!" The blue dog waved. You blink. Huh. Didn't Jack know this guy?

You snap your fingers, startling him and he is soon in a burlap sack.

",...Dude we have been over this." Jack informed you.

"You want me this badly? I accept and am quite flattered!" Huck smiled.

".... IS EVERYONE HERE INSANE??!" Jack shouted.

Reward: You gain Huckleberry Hound as a Hero Unit!

[X] Sugar, Spice and Nothing Nice

You have a bad feeling about this but you go into the woods. You're not an idiot and have seen movies so you decide to make Pakmar and Huck prove themselves (your... Bride... Looma scares you way too much... Damn it Charlie, couldn't you have saved her without defeating her in combat?!) By keeping an eye out with Chameleon-Bot.

You don't find much... At least nothing your mortal mind can comprehend...

When you come to, you have a message in your head.

"apologies sir! With my liege Princess Bubblegum missing, so too goes my moral compass! Sorry!
-love PepButs!"

....Uh oh.

To be Continued in Adventure "Ooo How I Love(?) Candy"

[X] Smart House

To be Continued in Omake "My Teenage House Life!"

Yeah! Update time!

Well, at least we got more people on the gang now...?

[X] Defenses

Yes! Now we have an actual fortress! So far so good.

[X] Not Awkward Family Reunion!

...Damm, not gonna lie, I'm actually sad.

[X] Welcome to the Jack Pack
-Huckleberry Hound

Exactly as planned. Also love how we are destroying Jack's Sanity little by little.

[X] Sugar, Spice and Nothing Nice

88 + 26

Oh... Oh no. We are no ready for this, not at all.
Guys, this might be an enemy we can't actually defeat.
I'm regretting choosing that action now.

[X] Smart House

61 + 41

102 (critical success)

To be Continued in Omake "My Teenage House Life!"

... I don't think I get the reference? The first thing that comes to mind is "my life as a teenage robot", but pretty sure it has nothing to do with it. Any ideas?

Overall a good turn, AWESOME!

I will note that, since I can't seem to get the inspiration for that Omake out, the reward for the Action to have Charlie learn about literature resulted in him becoming popular with librarians (as in a +5 to getting them to assist)

My Teenage House Life!
You were Cheerleader-Bot 6 and you were happy!

The boss trusted you! Yes, you! With what exactly?

A most important task!

Watching his new AI project for a minute while he took a whizz.

This was amazing! Cheerleader-Bot 3 would be sooooooo jealous!

As you did a little routine, you accidentally turned the AI on.

X
You were UNKNOWN DESIGNATION.

You were feeling UNKNOWN.

You look around at the temple giving you a corporal form. So much information to absorb.

(That yellow guy in the cage outside gave you... QUESTIONS).

You decide to focus on the strange machine in front of you.

"HEL-LO."

She turned to you.

"....Like, uh oh spaghetti-o!"

X

You were Jack Spicer and you were returning from an unexpected detour.

Turns out Pakmar wanted to guarantee he would be payed so that lead to an hour of contract negotiations, which just lead to Charmcaster wanting the same, though thankfully that only took half as long. Then Don got lost and needed to be escorted out for another 12 minutes. Then You and Omi talked for three....

Surely everything couldn't go Belly up in just 1 hour and 45 minutes?

....you quicken your pace.

You arrive back where you were before. Hmmmmm. Cheerleader-Bot 6 was still seemingly exactly as was.

Maybe nothing happened?

"Like, UGH; Don't people knock? GOSH!" The AI you had been working on whined in the most obnoxious valley girl accent you had ever heard.

You stare.

"...." Le Mime wisely lowered his checkbook for asking for a raise as you devolve into screeches.

Reward: you gain a house AI that has the personality of a stereotypical teenage girl, just more willing to help

Every so often something may pop up, either by you discovering it or it coming to coming to you, that counts as an "Adventures". Adventures are a very, very broad category of actions. They're probably closer to " special events" than regular actions. Adventures, depending on which ones they are and what your first roll is, can be includes in the main update with their rewards, a QM Omake/Interlude, or even a mini-turn.

You can assign as many units to an adventure as you want. Note: While some Adventures may have multiple rolls, other have just one roll. So, while you could stack a bunch of hero together, it's entirely possible that doing so is unessecary, but you won't know until you see the results.

Ooo, How I Love (?) Candy: A mysterious Butler named... Peppermint Butler is causing mayhem in your woods. He has all your magically aware folks on edge (except Killinger) so you are unsure if facing him is a good idea. Though vague, The doc did note that it's suspicious you weren't dead If PB wanted it so....

What Hero Units are Coming Along?
- []

Any Advisors (one max)?
- []

Any Write Ins of People who could be Argued to be on Your Side in some way (one max)?
- []

You can only assign one hero unit to an action unless they're Jack

[][Jack] As the boss, you can assign Jack to two actions per turn, and you can assign one additional unit to help him on either action.

-[] Ask Charmcaster?
-[] Ask None?

[] Raid Aku's Prisons: Sure, he's a scary demon guy with an army of murderous robots but... hey, maybe some do-gooding idiot got themselves caught by him and would be very happy to work with their rescuer? (DC: 55/85) (Reward: Possibility that you rescue a hero unit that Aku captured.)

[] Raid Vilgax's Prisons: Sure, that creepy alien guy is tough... but, that just means that any of his prisoners, human or alien, are also pretty tough. (DC: 50/80) (Reward: Possibility that you rescue a hero unit that Vilgax captured.)

[] Take Over the Nearby Town: You are well aware a random Chinese town isn't exactly the most valuable territory, but everyone has to start somewhere, ya know? (DC: 55) (Reward: You gain mayorship of the town nearest to the Temple)

[] Steal Random Artifacts From Museums: You never know where a Shen Gong Wu is going to be stuck in a museum. Send some thugs out to steal whatever they can. (DC: All rolls get you something, though actual Shen Gong Wu require higher rolls.) (Rewards: Possible Shen Gong Wu. Other ancient artifacts you can... hang up on the walls? Sell?)

[] Attack A Faction: You're going to be the biggest bad guy in the world, so you'll need to teach these other guys just what their place is. (DC: Variable) (Reward: Chosen faction weakened.)

-[] What faction do you attack? You must spy on other factions before you get a guess on how high an assault DC is for them.

[] Attack A Hero/Villain: Some of these small fries could do a decent job, if they worked for you. But some people are just too stubborn, and can become problems later. So, you'll need to rough them up a bit. (DC: Variable) (Reward: Targeted unit may be wounded for a number of turns or captured. Cannot use this on faction leaders.)

-[] Choose who to attack. DC is dependent on their combined Martial and Intrigue stats.

[] Awkward Family Reunion: It will be awkward, but you suppose asking your parents for one last thing before you permanently are out of their hair can't go that bad... Right? (DC: 60) (Reward: Your relationship with your parents ends on a positive note; They give you some money to send you off) (last turn to do so)

[] An Eye for an Eye, a Claw for a Claw and a Sword for a Sword: Turns out that while they didn't like you enough to risk coming with you, Cyclops, Katnappe and Tubbimura do still consider you a friend and are willing to talk when they have the free time. You're a little hurt by their continued loyalty to Chase, but damn it, they're your friends! (DC: 25) (Reward: Make ties with your three old Heylin buddies; they will assist in subtle or not so subtle ways when they can risk it depending on the Roll)

[] Cats, Cats, They're Cats!: Apparently Tom ran with an Alleycat Gang before settling down as your advisor. They still respect him quite a bit and are willing to assist you just by your connection to him, on the caveat you wow them. (DC: 45) (Reward: Get an alley cat spy Network)

[] Great Scott, Peridot!: Apparently sometime between Week 1 and now Former co-ruler Peridot pushed back against some order or other from her boss and was punished with execution, but managed to escape. Not considered worth the effort of tracking down, the fallen ruler is offering services to others who could disrupt Gem business out of spite. Spite is something you can use! (DC; 50) (reward: established ties with ex-King Peridot. She will provide you with the occasional weapon or other Useful tool/invention if you make a good impression!)

[] Search For More Potential Employees: You need a LOT more help. (DC: Variable.) (Reward: New characters added to the soon to be made "Potential Allies" threadmark.)

[] Search For Magical People: Really, the only ones that can help you with magic stuff are Le Mime and Charmcaster right now. You should change that. (DC: Variable.) (Rewards: Magical units added to the "Potential Allies" threadmark.)

[] Search For Heroes: Sure, they may be self righteous, but they'll probably be willing to help you fight the big guys around you. (DC: Variable.) (Rewards: Heroic units added to the "Potential Allies" threadmark.)

[] Search For Villains: Right now, it's a pretty good time to be a bad guy. But, there's also quite a few smaller groups and loners out there that keep getting crushed by the guys who currently rule most of the world. Maybe they'll be interested in a partnership? (DC: Variable) (Reward: Villain units added to the "Potential Allies" threadmark.)

[] Welcome to the Jack Pack: You like your current team but more help wouldn't hurt. (DC: Variable) (Reward: Actually Recruit someone in the Potential Allies Threadmark)
-Omi (DC: 20)
-Alleycat Gang (DC: 35)

Currently owned locations:
- Xaiolin Temple (two upgrades left.)
-Jellystone Ruins (Four Upgrades Left)

[] Buy Cheerful and Red's: that strange little bar Le Mime loves is apparently not as profitable as his business implied.... As in, anti Gem sentiment means he is their ONLY customer. They need cash basically and are selling the place. (DC: 30) (Reward: Gain ownership of the bar Cheerful and Red's. Said Ruby and Spinel duo will join as part of Le Mime's Stat block via joining up with him as thanks for his continued service.)

[] Build A Basic Lab: So, while you are smart enough to make things without a lab... it wouldn't hurt to actually build one. (DC: 50) (New research action available. Takes up one upgrade space.)

[] Burn It Down: There's not much room to expand the temple itself in any direction besides up and down. But, if you could carve out a few of the nearby mountains, and have the Jack-Bots chop down that forest over there, you'd have a lot more room to work with. Of course, doing that will make it harder to hide out in the temple. (DC: 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90/95) (Reward: More space is opened up for the temple. Chances that someone discovers that you've been altering the landscape. Other things. ???)

[] Go Shopping on Googs: Apparently you can find anything on this site. Let's test that shall we? (DC: Auto success with the item being dependent on Roll)

[] Break Room: Robo-Jack keeps whining he wants a break room and you want him to shut up. Win win! (DC: 15) (Reward: You make a break room for your minions. They will be grateful and may work a little harder depending on how good it is from the Roll)

[] Build Up Jellystone Ruins: Now that you have an abandoned town, making it livable probably isn't bad. (DC: 45) (Reward: Jellystone is made more stable and can be more safely added to)

[] Search For Shen Gong Wu: Now, where can you find more of them? (DC: 60/70/80) (Reward: Sheng Gong Wu discovered.)

[] Spy On A Faction: You need to know more about your enemies. (DC: Variable.) (Reward: Info about things happening with other groups and countries.)

-[] US. (DC: 50/95) (DC increased due to last time)
-[] Chase Young and his band of jerks. (DC: ???)
-[] Vilgax (DC: 80)
-[] Aku (DC: 130)
-[] Endsville (DC: 99)
-[] Chris and his half of Canada. (DC: 70)

[] Teach The Occult (Must assign one hero unit Occult +15 and one with Occult under 15): So, not everyone knows or believes that magic and the like exist. Including some of your minions. That really needs to change. (DC: Variable.) (Reward: The hero with the lower Occult stat has their Occult stat trained/raised.)

[] Hang with Charmcaster: Charmcaster hates putting in more than the bare minimum with you, but she is willing to attempt a magical hang out off hours. She doesn't admit it, but you think she just wants friends. (DC: 75) (reward: You and Charmcaster have a shockingly good time and she teaches you a little magic she didn't have to)

[] All that Glitters is Gold: Chameleon-Bot stole blueprints to making a gold machine on the way out of the Heylin. You really need to give that guy some quality oil or something. (DC: 75) (Reward: You make a machine that turns stuff into gold)

[] Take Out the Garbage and the Trash: You hate chores! They're lame! (DC: 30) (Reward: You make a speciality Jack-Bot that does chores you don't want to. Though if you treat him badly, that could have potential consequences...)

[] Give Me an E-V-I-L!: the Cheerleader-Bots are... Not bright. But they aren't exactly doomed to be that way. (DC: 85) (Reward: the Cheerleader-Bots are made Smarter)

[] A Hidden Gem: Those bartender Gems seem nice and appreciate you are willing to hear them out about a sale, and they send you some old Gem Tech to sweeten the deal. Of course, Alien technology ain't exactly easy to crack, even for you.... (DC: 90) (reward: Get a Gem Disruptor and a Robonoid, which needless to say can both be very useful if you ever come into Conflict with Gems)
