Robo-Jack's sarcastic quips aside (you acknowledge as irritating as said Snarking is, he is still helping while he does it, and honestly you don't want the headache of what will happen if you put an obedience chip in him but he somehow breaks free) you and the Jack-Bots eventually manage to find a lesser used area of the temple and repair it with the addition of a high tech electric vault.

"GO EVIL!" the Cheerleader-Bots Jump.

"Not alot goes on up there huh?" Robo-Jack quipped.

"Speaking from experience?" Charmcaster deadpanned, reading a Magazine nearby.

Even Chameleon-Bot laughed. You weren't aware he had the capability to do that!

"Sooooooo... Unikitty was it? Being evil doesn't seem like your forte." You awkwardly state to one of your advisors.

"It pays the bills and feeds my kids." She shrugged cheerily, a mischievous glint in her eye that made it impossible to tell if she was joking. Before you could fully ponder if she was joking, she presses on.

"But anyways Jacked Man-"

"...I am having very mixed feelings on that name."

"-I presume you're here for advice about Omi?"

"...How did you -"

"The doc didn't hire me just for my cute looks, kid. I can tell you two have a bit of history, and honestly, considering his whole thing he has going on right now, the Little guy seems like the sentimental type. Play to that! He doesn't seem like he would be fully on board for evil for evil's sake so spin a yarn about some noble goal you have under it all. Then boom blam Jackie Chan you got him!"

"....You are much more devious than your appearance would imply." You chuckle.

*Still half-cat." Unikitty grins.

With Unikitty's advice in mind, you finally approach Omi with his food face to face.

"Hiya Om, old buddy."

Omi looks a little annoyed, but he doesn't seem super resistant to seeing you either. You take that as a good sign.

"I know you probably ain't thrilled to see Me and all that, but I'm not unhappy to see you. Look cue ball, I actually kind of miss the old times! We always had a good time when it was the two of us.... You believed in me when no one else did. I remember that. I just... Chase kicked me out, Omi. I have no one left from my old life except Le Mime, the Jack-Bots.... And you. I am hoping to make the world a good place for me and those who I consider friends. You can understand that?" You speechify. There were a few ommissions and exaggerations, but ultimately, nothing you just said was an outright lie (another earlier tip from Unikitty).

Omi stared at you for a tense moment.

"....I can grab what you are throwing into the dirt." Omi admits.

"You mean pick up what I am putting down?" You Smirk.

"That too."

You both laugh, the ridiculous aspects of this whole situation hitting you both suddenly.

Maybe this won't be too bad.

Reward: Omi will be much easier to recruit via lowered DC! Omi's 'Spicer, you are a Skullnumb' Trait is lowered to a -2 Malus!

If you had not been advised by Killinger and Unikitty to let him handle it himself, you would have probably sent some Jack-Bots along with him to make certain he was safe. You just had a bad feeling about the idea of Le Mime finding this brush up just to meet a family member necessary...

Le Mime grinned and Tom passed by and found himself stuck In one of Le Mime's invisible boxes, which then shrunk a little, comically squashing him.

You were impressed but pretty sure Tom was going to ask for a raise as commuppeance later.

Reward: Le Mime's Occult Stat raised by +5, becoming 28!

Charlie had been bugging you for tasks all day so you sent him to spy on a local mayor and to study anything related afterwards on a whim.

You supposed you shouldn't have been surprised to find him practically being an expert politician to the point he was hired as a part-time advisor to said mayor when you remembered to check in on him 3 days later.

....You shouldn't have been but you were.

Reward: Charlie is now a genuinely amazing politician and is trusted by most locals with said profession!

The Shapeshifting Master of Darkness claims to have finally captured his second most notorious enemy, the Scotsman, and then claimed to have done one better and gotten THE Samurai Jack! ...It quickly turned out his assassins fucked up and grabbed poser Da Samurai instead, leading to executions and humiliation.

In terms of positives, Aku's (Uber miserable and reluctant) top scientist Extor has rebuilt the Ultra-robots. Though less impressive than before due to Extor (secretly) including a strange bug that makes them glitch when they hear music, until this flaw is widely discovered time will tell what happens but it ain't gonna be Anything good.

The Heylin

Chase Young (jerk) and his lackies aren't doing anything super notable right now. Chase seems content to train and Lord over his power for now.

The Sapphire Dragon + Dr. Kamikazi

Everyone's favorite dangerous Shen Gong Wu, on the other hand, isn't exactly laying dormant.

Accidentally lost and activated somewhere in Japan, the Sapphire Dragon is doing it's usual "turn everyone into sapphire zombies" shtick. It's only fully held back by local B List Mad Scientist Dr. Kamikazi and his Robotboy Army (...By which we mean a simple quartet of them. He was supposed to have an actual army, but his limited understanding of the now stasis locked Robotboy meant each one takes so long to make it would take centuries to make a whole army, so he wisely settled).

Vilgax

Still seething at being trapped on Earth, Vilgax decided to blow off steam by Crushing some local foolish rebellions personally.

....There are no known survivors.

The US Government

After getting some important documents stolen and blatantly spied on unbeknownst to them, the US Government is a bigger laughingstock than usual.

Many high-ranking CIA And Secret Service members were sacked for this blunder with no severance pay, leading to a bit of obvious tension as they seek to find who caused all this.

Argit

Disgraced ScamCo executive Argit has seemingly bounced back and has opened a semi successful chain of pizzeria-casinos called "Papa Argit's Gambletastic Pizza Jamboree". An Asian Branch has recently popped up.

Kids love it, but parents tolerate it at best.

A Family Mime Once Scorned
You were Le Mime, and you were nervous.

Now, you hid this, of course. Your father wasn't like your mother, but he abhorred weakness. Such behavior would have made your effort pointless.

You didn't like having to call in favors like this from anyone but Your boss, but you did had to do.

The blonde with blue highlights lass in space armor set you down somewhere in Lord Boxman's territory.

".... Le Mime. Be careful ok, idiot?" She folded her arms and blew some hair from her face.

You knew for someone of Space Beth's disposition that was literally the absolute best way she could communicate concern for anyone besides her lovers (you still found the whole "dating your clone and her husband" shtick odd, but you weren't judging as long as they were happy). You give her a goofy thumbs up and She rolls her eyes and shoos you off.

Well. Here goes.

The Plaza Boxman had hated so was long since rotted away, overtaken by Plant growth and rust. There was a memorial there dedicated to one Mr. Eugene Gar.

Hmmmm. The way it's black haired caretaker with the blue jacket, no shoes and Red headband looked at you was weird. His eyes seemed to belie an inner hatred even as he gave a cheerful wave.

"You here to see Lord Boxman?" He asked.

You shake your head no and gesture to a picture of your father.

"Hmmmm. You sure? That dude doesn't wanna be bothered. A Darrell went to interview him for something and he got blown up in seconds."

You choose to not question the usage of "a" Darrell (probably Cloning or something, considering who dropped you off) and nod in confirmation, so the lad gives you directions.

You take a deep breathe and knock.

You have a shot gun pointed at your face.

"Huh. Hi son." A clown (literally) raised an eyebrow at you, looking sickly. You nonchalantly lowered the gun and waved.

"....I keep forgetting the procedure took away your voice." The clown grunted. You felt a pang of irritation at how casually he said that you ignored as he gestured you in.

It was... A pretty nice time all things considered. You listened to him for hours. Memories.

It would have stayed nice if you didn't notice the way he always made an excuse for you to stay and checked his phone.

Finally, you had enough and manged to get the phone.

'Reward Offered for the Head of these Individuals - Chase Young'.

It was him, Jack and the advisors (minus Killinger; Chase was somewhat arrogant but even he had limits to who he would face).

"Don't look all shocked son. I need the money. You provide an easy solution."

You should have seen that coming. Your father was better than your mother, but it didn't mean he was a good man.

It still hurt how little hesitation was there to make some money by selling him out.

His father, seemingly tired of waiting for whoever he hired, got out the shotgun. You covered it with a discreet magic mime box, just enough it would still fire... But backfire with disastrous results.

Funny how the one good thing your parents gave you was the old bastard's demise.

For what it's worth, while it annoyed you, you did appreciate deep down Red and Chipper refusing to serve you while you were so clearly upset. You didn't know if you would have stopped even long after still going was dangerous.

You plopped down in the living room. Unikitty seemed to near Instantly pick up on your mood if the way her ears drooped and she didn't greet you was any indication but you didn't particularly care.

You were in this haze for what seemed like hours (you would later learn it had only been 21 minutes thankfully) before Jack finally approached you.

Seeing Le Mime genuinely upset was unnerving. Even Vlad didn't seem to have the level of cheerful reveling in villainy Le Mime always subtly did.

*....Hey man. Uh.. Rough day?" You awkwardly started, rubbing your neck.

Thankfully, Le Mime seemed more amused than annoyed by the clear understatement.

"....I... Don't know what happened with your old man. And frankly it's none of my business. But... I get the feeling he ain't worth any feelings. Positive or negative." You offer.

Le Mime looks at you with an uncomfortable silence.

Awww poor Le Mime, not gonna lie, wasn't expecting that. His dad is a clown, clown people at evil, as Billy showed us, it was bound to happen sooner or later, but it still make my heart cry!

Well I'm glad that Jack has Le mime's back, say whatever you want about him but in our empire there will be camaraderie and no backstabbing, unless we allow it.

Omake: Even EVIL needs a helping hand! Part 1

"What?! You want me to recruit more people to "advise" me? Pff! Passss!!!" Jack replies with his arms crossed and an annoyed expression on his face. "Let me tell you, it may sound well right now, but first time things get difficult they pretty much ditch me. No more!"

Jack tried to put a tough appearance to the man that mysteriously appeared on his home. The way the supposed "Dr. Killinger" looked at him with those eyes kind of unnerved him, like, he was staring directly at Jack's soul, telling everything about him.

"Look, I suppose you're trying to help me, but if its gonna be the same as with that Hag then I don't wanna!" Jack replied a little petulant. "I got my robots.... and Le Mime I suppose, I don't need more.."

"Mr. Spicer" The masked man cut him off with that monotonous tone. "I get you had... difficult experiences working with others. Its understandable. But if you want to achieve your ambitions, there is a simple fact you need to realize"

"Uhhh" Jack looked at Robo-Jack (Who just shrugged) and Le Mime (Who gave him the "deal with it" expression), not being helpful at all, as expected. Resigned, Jack sighed and turned to the man "Okay, what is it? C'mon man, give me your so called wisdom?"

"You need help. People you can actually depend on." Dr. Killinger said as he crossed his arms behind his back and started to get closer to Jack, startling the Evil Genius (Even though he won't admit it). He came over and put a hand on Jack's shoulder. "You have a huge ambition young man, but that means you will have to make the greatest effort to achieve it. No being, doesn0t mater who is it, can do everything truly alone, you need people who can council you, who can give you their experience and guide you when you are lost or in need of support, who can back you up, not just robots or minions, but true allies. That, Jack Spicer, will be the first step to guide you towards the path of greatness." Killinger said that, with a tone that couldnt0 hide the passion of his word. Not only Jack but also Robo-Jack and even Le Mime listened to him, entrapped by his words.

Jack didn't know what to think. At first glance he though Dr. Killinger would be like Wuya or Chase, telling him sweet words and just using him, but the tone and ... truthfulness of Dr. Killinger was kind of getting to him. He really was different from the Hag or Chase.

"Wow... You're good" Jack said with a smirk. Dr. Killinger gave what seemed like a little smile, but disappeared too soon to truly tell.

"Fine, you convinced me. So who are we recruiting, what other Baddies you got in store for me, Jack Spicer?!" He said with and EVIL smile.

"No, for this, you yourself must recruit your new advisors. Only that way you-" "What???!!! Whyyyyyyy???!!!" Jack cut off Dr. Killinger as he was explaining.

"As you know, in life you must learn to grasp all opportunities. Some may come to you, but others you must find them yourself, go out of your comfort zone, to seek what you truly want. Maybe I could point you to some people, but you must learn to learn to look on your own. Take the initiative Mr. Spicer." The masked man continued, making Jack reconsider.

"Fine, I can totally do that!" He said while raising his arms. "Just have to look for people who can give me tips right? Consider it done!" Jack exclaimed as he went towards his bedroom with a determined expression.

As he left, Dr. Killinger only nodded at Jack, there truly was a chance to help this young man seize his potential just yet.

A few hours later, Jack could be seen on his bedroom, tapping furiously on his computer. Jack spent the last few hours making ads to publish, asking for experts on particular areas who were willing to work full time or even part time to him. He made sure to not make obvious it was Jack Himself doing the hiring, didn't want Chase to find out what he was doing, even If the ancient warrior would not care at all.

"Well, this ought to be enough" Commented Jack as he published the last Ad. "Now... to wait I suppose" He said with an annoyed expression on his face, hoping this wasn't a bust.

A few days later Jack received his first applicant. Jack.... didn't know what to them of him.

"So Thomas...Cat, right?" He said dubiously at the cat who was currently seating on the other side of the table, with a professional briefcase, looking confident.

Jack couldn't believe it, the cat... just showed on his door, all professional surprisingly, gave him a card and waited until he let him inside.

"Thomas "Tom" Cat, professional Mice catcher... and Jack of all trades?" Jack looked at Tom, who only nodded with a smile on his face. "Let me get this straight, so in exchange of working for me, you want a new home?" That got him another nod from the cat.

"Look pal, I don't wanna be annoying but I'm not a charity case here" Jack said exasperated. "I need someone who can help me here with my plans!!! I need.. I don't know! A weapons expert! Or something like that!" He finished with his hands on his face,

At that Tom smiled evilly and opened his briefcase, taking some things out. Jack removed his hands from his face and looked up at Tom and... stared. In a few seconds, the cat had gotten out a collection of deadly weapons, that there were no way could fit inside a briefcase so small, as well as several folders, filled with several plans and blueprints for many situations. Jack was... kind of surprised at what some of the plans showed. The EVIL Genius looked at Tom on a new light.

"Well, what do you now? Those must have been some mean mice to have THESE kind of plans" Jack commented, a big smile growing on his face. He dropped the papers and extended a hand towards Tom. "Welcome to the Team, Tom."

Tom had an Evil Smile, responding to the handshake. This was the beginning of a beautiful and valuable partnership, Jack could tell.

Sooooo here is it! Wanted to make an omake of how Jack recruited all his advisors to be honest, and I did it! Not much to said aside from that.

Hope I can get the rest out soon, this seemed like a good point for me to stop right now. Hopefully I could get Jack and Killinger voice right. Don't have too much experience with writing to be honest.

I especially can't wait to see his recruiting of Unikitty and Charmcaster (those were probably a wild time in hindsight, especially the latter, considering the whole "alternate timeline version of an established King" bit lol)

But, if you could carve out a few of the nearby mountains, and have the Jack-Bots chop down that forest over there, you'd have a lot more room to work with. Of course, Alien technology ain't exactly easy to crack, even for you.... That is interesting! Also I give jasper 3 weeks before she runs everything into the ground.

Let's try to visit Jack's grandma this turn since we only have a limited number of turns before she's goes off to Rob heaven.
 
Maybe assault Aku's or Vilgax prison? With Charlie we are really close of succeding, our robot has 42 Martial! That's loaded.
Also we should build a lab, right now we don't have much to work with, either that or build defenses. For Occult I would think hang out with charm caster.
 
@Boohoo the 3rd What effect does the Golden Tiger Claw have mechanically? I figured it would make things like Raiding Vilgax's or Aku's Prisons a lot easier.

Edit:We've got the claw so we should use it.

So here is my plan! For martial raiding Vilgax prison, possibility of recruiting a Hero unit, which we really need, for diplomacy, no way we aren't visiting our Grandmother! Stedwarship I choose defenses because we need to shore up our weak points. Chase put a bounty on our heads and I expect people to come for our heads in the incoming turns. Lets have the temple ready for the welcoming! Intrigue, kind of surprised the recruit action is here, but not complaining, Le mime will convince people tp join our future empire! Occult I wanted to choose Charmcaster, but I think the Sugar one takes priority, even more if we have kidnappings in the area, lets pout a stop to that. Research I picked the smart house, should sinergy with our defenses and the possibility of getting our own CJ from doofquest won me over.

Any suggestions or things I should change?
