    Grandma Jacqueline made sense, she was sick (and you make a mental note to visit her; you two weren't super close, but you by no means disliked each other). But your parents and aunt + uncle were really too busy with Business meetings?! They couldn't reschedule just once?!

    And your stupid cousin was -

    "Wandering around nearby trying to find ya!" A pink bunny cheerfully stated as she played with seltzer water nearby.

    "Babs, I told you not to interrupt my internal mono- Wait, what?" As you fully process what she said and turn to see that, indeed, Jack had shown up.

    "....Hey." you two say in awkward unison.

    "Wow, Meggy, I thought you were cousins, not creepy twins." Babs snorted, leaning on you.

    "Shut up." You eyeroll with any real venom.

    "Nah, ya love my personality, toots."

    Megan and this rabbit girl were casually bantering with nicknames, leaning on each other, holding hands...

    It's clear that based on how she doesn't deny it despite her clear flustered nature what the answer is.

    "AHAHHAHAHAHA! AT LEAST IT AIN'T A BUNNY BOY, I GUESS! THAT WOULD SUCK WHEN IT CAME DOWN TO KIDS!"

    It was very clear that Babs' clear amusement was the only thing keeping Megan from clobbering you. Hoo boy were you gonna get alot mileage out of this one.

    "Your cousin Is decently funny." Babs smirked.

    "Please don't encourage him...." Megan mumbled.

    For your part, you decide to continue the tease train later.

    "So, When's the graduation?" You shrug.

    "You... Really came for it?" Megan blinked.

    "Megan, you're an obnoxious brat, but you're still family." You shrug.

    "Hardy har har, ya Dr. Evil albino." Megan grunted though there was infinitely less bite than usual as the three of you continue on.

    "Heh, I like this family." Babs commented.

    *I would hope so with you dating the squirt."

    "Jack, I am only two feet shorter than you, shut it."

    As the three of you bantered until the graduation ceremony started and then had a nice afterparty, you smile.

    Maybe your familiar relationships are worth more than they seemed?

    Reward: Your relationship with Megan is pretty patched up! You met your hopeful Future Cousin-in-law Babs Bunny! You will tease Megan mercilessly!

    Anyways, It was a tough job, even tougher than it would be before all this chaos. Honestly, most US government positions had pretty much become figureheads meant to give the allusion people still had a choice.

    Some of the madmen running about were actually pretty easy to placate. Stroke Eddy's ego and throw him a little cash and he would be good. Same for Boxman.

    Father was a bit harder when he got into a mood, and quite frankly Mandark and his Think Tank gave you a headache.

    Well anyways, you still had SOME duties you had to take care of as you look over the few things you can still sign off as on your own.

    "Not what I was expecting..." You mumble.

    You suddenly had a bad feeling. like you were being watched....

    You looked outside and squinted. Seeing nothing you return with a grunt.

    You were Jack-Bot 7613 and you were glad you didn't mess up your first mission.

    For reasons you did not parse, the robotic version of your creator seemed annoyed to not be in charge. This was a logical choice. He had proven himself disloyal and giving him a leadership role would quickly inflate his ego.

    Nontheless, you exit your hiding spot and leave with your brethren, grabbing a few files for later study.

    Later...

    You were Stan Smith.

    You stared at the broken safe.

    "....I am so fired."

    Reward: Learned the messed up political landscape of the US and got some juicy files!

    Should we be worried about Robo Jack trying to overthrow us? Or at least cause problems with the rest of the Jackbots?

    To be honest I only watched few episodes of American Dad and that was Ages ago, so not sure what to think about Stan except that yeah, he is probably fired, wonder if we could recruit Him. It will be funny when/if he finds out we stole the files XD.

    Also, random observation but I just realize that in Official Cruel Network lore, Jack was actually a notable member of Mandark's Think Thank. Oops XD

    Just gonna retcon in , in case anyone was always aware of this and was confused this whole time that Jack was with the Think Tank for a bit, missed the Heylin and rejoined before eventually getting kicked out as shown in the prologue XD

    For the Diamonds.... Technically? Like, Earth obviously isn't destroyed, but no one is stopping them from destroying other planets other than the occasional space conflict, AND Jasper and Peridot are Major Kings still trying to colonize the planet.

    The Conductor won though... As much as you can say her situation is a victory lol

    Honestly, Robo-Jack has given up trying to fully overthrow you thankfully. And the other Jack-Bots have no respect for him to the point of being hard to be manipulated XD

    And to be honest? Jack aside, You didn't trust this Smhuck either.

    You enter a shady bar known as Cheerful and Red's. The only other people here besides you and Your fellow Jack Pack Member (note to self: get Jack to trademark it! It was a cool name!) was the titular nicknamed Ruby (what a Gem was doing so far from Canada you had no idea) who was rubbing glasses clean and her Spinel sidekick (you were pretty sure they were dating, but you got your ass kicked the last time you asked), Chipper, who was sweeping. You nod at them.

    "Hiya Mimey! Yo creepy guy, Le Mime's here!" Chipper chirped.

    "Chipper, you really shouldn't call guests creepy." Red deadpanned.

    You tuned out their playful bickering and sat next to Dr. Henry Killinger.

    "Hello Lemmy." He said.

    You immediately choked on your drink.

    "Hmmmmm? Oh yes. You go by Le Mime. Apologies." He added after a bit.

    You stare. How... How did he know your real name?

    "I know great many things." He gave a simple smile. There was something not quite malicious, but definitely not benevolent about it.

    "Your boss does not trust me. As I have mentioned, this is for the best. Advice from a stranger, even seemingly good advice, should never be 100% trusted. Young Spicer has potential. I do not wish for it to be wasted."

    You nod dumbly.

    "...How is Your mother?" He asked suddenly.

    You grip your drink tightly.

    "She did care Lemmy. By no means enough, and it in no way justifies anything, but she did." He notes. You stare. And for whatever reason, you believe him.

    "Do you wish to ask me a question?"

    You smirk.

    Rewards: You now know Dr. Henry Killinger is 100% trustworthy and really does want to help! Le Mime and Dr. Henry Killinger bonded! Le Mime past hinted at!

    Why is Peridot a King? Just because the outdated original version said so? She was shown in the show to be a basically decent, even heroic person.

    Did she just somehow avoid her redemption arc?

    Yeah, to be honest, I 100% prefer Post Redemption Peridot and would be fine with Jasper being the sole SU King on Earth.

    Honestly, might retcon it that it is Squaridot from the Video Game who is working with Jasper or something. We'll see.

    Replace her with Aquamarine, maybe? She's a fun, interesting, easily hateable but smart villain character who'd have every reason to want a fiefdom on Earth.

    Plus, she's a little brat who's really satisfying to defeat.

    For a Decades old carnival robot, he was certainly more Complex than expected. Not ridiculously so (even if he wasn't an EVIL BOY GENIUS!), but still.

    "Geez, who built this guy? Hmmph..." You mused as you tinkered with Charlie. Suddenly, the Cheerleader-Bots burst in to cheer him on. You yelped even as you kept absentmindedly tinkering.

    "Yeesh! You guys really can't just appear out of nowhere! You gotta warn people! I mean, I appreciate the cheers, really, but-" You begin before you realize you had been tinkering on Charlie through that whole lecture.

    ".... Hello.. Spicer..." He said, looking at you with an eerie sense of recognition.

    "Can you not right now?!"

    We've got confirmation that the Golden Tiger Claws will let us free Omi, so we should prepare for that by protecting the Claws and hopefully getting on decent terms with our favorite cue ball. Since that's important and we're just okay at Diplomacy that's our advisor call.

    Le Mime gets more backstory and improves his signature ability, and Charlie gets some broadly useful knowledge.

    I'm not sure if the Jackbots can do meaningfully better with a write in, or how much help they'd actually be to Jack, so I'm tentatively having them help out.
