"It followed me home, Russian-mama, can I keep it?"Man, Lifebane is going to fit right in with our gang of crazies now isn't she?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAdeepbreathHAHAHAHAHAHAOnce we get some basic training from LIFEBANE in the core concepts of magic
eyes
I mean the basic basic shit. Like "How the fuck do I make magic happen?" I mean she has to have learned it at some point.

So what you're saying is that she's almost literally worthless for one of the main reasons we care about her? That being the ability to teach us how to reliably get out of dodge."How does a TV work?"
"Here, you switch this button to turn it on!"
"That... doesn't describe how a TV works though."
"But it IS working?"
^-- But with magic
So what you're saying is that she's almost literally worthless for one of the main reasons we care about her?

She can teach you necromancy, some other ~DAAAARK~ stuff, and something I won't mention right now. Once your magic has been activated (with her help, because having a magic-user assist is a major boost that you probably wouldn't beat the DC on otherwise), you can use Observe or other skills to figure out magical theory from there. Also because this is a quest based on a bullshit Silver Age heroics world with a dash of everything, there are approximately eleventy-billion magic systems out there, some of which are mutually exclusive with others or just plain impossible. They still exist, because bullshit comic logic. Just because you figure out ONE magic system does not mean you'll automatically understand a different one.So what you're saying is that she's almost literally worthless for one of the main reasons we care about her? Like 'em skinny, do ya?
There's an a̶p̶p̶ spell for that
Aye, she's a bon
That. Unlocking our magic. That is literally exactly what I wanted. Then once we have enough Mad-Science: Beam levels we'll get into Mad Science: Coding and download some magic primers to work off of with a firewall protecting our IP.She can teach you necromancy, some other ~DAAAARK~ stuff, and something I won't mention right now.
