POKEMON RANGERS: GAME ON THE EDGE! (NO SV YOU are a HERO in a VILLIANS VICTORIOUS WORLD!)

At this point I don't know.

But who wants to know why the little spot called earth is so important to the Space weirdo's
Good question. Even though honestly, earth probably has the highest concentration of BS at the moment...
It was mentioned that Crimson had done some training with snake earlier kind of has me wondering about some of the interactions we had prior to the Grand plan that was DOA.

...So alola has a team skull that decided to scam tourists. Aether foundation whom was brushed off by them, presumably researching Ultra-space. The Kahunas doing something, and whomever thinks the island chain are easy pickings...
Let's see how long till things get crazy, an how responsible we will be for it. :D

Decided to try and create character sheets for the TR Trio from the anime, so here is somewhat of a first draft.

Jessie

Diplomacy: 15 (Its all about presentation. And as an aspiring star, she knows quite a bit bout it even as it wasn't enough to become a star)

Martial: 15

Stewardship: 12 (She knows a thing or two about saving money from her poor background)

Intrigue: 15 (It's all about PRESENTATION)

Learning: 10 (She is not very knowledgeable, even with her rather impressive medical knowledge)

Piety: Locked (16)

Traits:
Driven: Jessie is a lady who will put her best foot forward, no matter the challenge. So much so she decided to go to a Pokémon nurse school when the others did not accept her. (+5 to rolls to meet a challenge. She is also pretty stubborn at times, which can create problems)
Medical knowledge: She may have failed to graduate from the Pokémon nurse school, but she is still surprisingly knowledgeable on Pokémon medical care.(+10 to rolls to administer first aide, or other tasks a Pokémon nurse is expected to do, other than use of moves)
Eclectic background: Jessie has done a lot of stuff before she found her way into team rocket, giving her an eclectic knowledge base to fall back on.(+5 to knowledge rolls)
Hiding in plain sight: For some reason, she, along with her partners are good at disguising themselves with seemingly flimsy disguise.(+10 to disguise rolls. ???)
Unconventional: She may not have the skills or knowledge to compete with the best, but she and her partners are really good at flipping the script..(+5 to unconventional actions. unlocks actions that others wouldn't consider, ???)
Exceptional fighter: She is fully able to fight toe to toe with a Pokémon AND WIN!(+10-20?. ???)
Daughter of Miyamoto: Her mother was a top team rocked operative whom disappeared looking for mew(???.Might be relevant, might not.)
Explosive Temper: Jessie has a very explosive temper, which can lead to poorly thought out actions.
Pokémon Tech Record: Jessie alongside James achieved record low grades in Pokémon Tech.(-20 on Pokémon related information rolls related to Pokémon battling)
PRESENTATION: Sometimes, even when it may be a bad idea, they may reveal themselves for the sake of flair.(They may reveal themselves unnecessarily in certain contexts.???)

James

Diplomacy: 15 (Its all about presentation. Something he had to learn as a scion of high society)

Martial: 15

Stewardship:6 (He is a rich scion that happens to be easily swindled)

Intrigue: 17 (It's all about PRESENTATION. Which his fondness for impersonations are perfect for)

Learning:17 (Being a collecter and from high society, he has quite the eclectic sort of knowledge in spite of flunking out of pokemon tech)

Piety: Locked (17)

Traits:
High Society Runaway: He is familiar with high society due to having been a part of it himself.(+10 when dealing with the upper class. Very reluctant to do so both because of his experiences and not wanting his parents or Jessabelle to hear about him.)
Pokémon magnet: For some reason, Pokémon especially grass types seem to love him.(+5 to Pokémon rolls, extra +5 if grass type??. Love can hurt)
Hiding in plain sight: For some reason, he, along with his partners are good at disguising themselves with seemingly flimsy disguise.(+10 to disguise rolls. ???)
Unconventional: He may not have the skills or knowledge to compete with the best, but he and his partners are really good at flipping the script..(+5 to unconventional actions. unlocks actions that others wouldn't consider, ???)
Pokémon Tech Record: James alongside Jessie achieved record low grades in Pokémon Tech.(-20 on Pokémon related information rolls related to Pokémon battling)
Eclectic Hobbies: On top of being a collector, he is well versed in quite a few activities, giving experience in quite a few unique fields( Special actions unlocked. +5 Bonus to certain rolls)
PRESENTATION: Sometimes, even when it may be a bad idea, they may reveal themselves for the sake of flair.(They may reveal themselves unnecessarily in certain contexts.???)

Here is the two sheets. Wrote them with the full idea that they earned their fearsome reputation for a reason. Game wise, they could probably be considered as an emergent hero unit around the time of that pokecenter stunt. Though if it goes close to canon, they probably would get a special trait that hides their skills from the partly self-humiliation they put themselves through consistently as they lean on their non-battle skills which I purposefully made not stand due to battles being their last resort after the Pokecenter incident in canon.

Edit: And I may have underestimated some things, considering their training. James badly injured with him likely unable to move for some time, leaving Jessie and meowth alone for the final test. James goes ANYWAY.:rofl:
Edit 2: Though exact details are not clear due to apparent conflicts with other episodes...
Edit 3: Another omake
Training Report.
Jessie and James
Jessie, daughter of Miyamoto is just as troublesome as always. Though, thankfully we had found a partner that can handle her, even with the bad blood they seemed to have from before Team Rocket. She has proven to definitely have been worth the trouble though, considering how well she and her new partners done ever since, even doing better than Cassidy's team. Jessie is a very driven woman whom goes through partners quickly as they simply didn't have the skills to keep up, and she didn't have the tolerance to work with people whom couldn't keep up. Honestly, it was only the skills and her mother that stayed my hand, which proven to be beneficial seeing the new team.

James, has drive. Throughout the training, he worked with Jessie, keeping up no matter the challenge, even with his tendency to put others before him. With one specific case involving him sneaking out the hospital wing in spite of severe injuries, and Jessie giving QUITE a lecture on why he shouldn't with that bad of a condition, revealing an impressive amount of medical knowledge. Though he still did it often, he at least chose to not try and sneak out during any particularly bad injuries after that, and that as training went on he got injured less often. He also was noted to be especially nice and willing to help fellow agents in training. He also seems to be quite good at negotiation, even knowing some tricks when talking to those in high society. He would need some work on his self-esteem to truly excel.

a/n: Here is an attempt to write something which may be more in tune with the facts from both the flashback episode and other bits, such as the fact that Jessie knew James to at least some degree from back when they were in the same bike gang. And some bits are likely non-canon, but something I feel could happen. Though character sheet wise, James would probably have higher diplo and possibly a trait or two reflecting his self-esteem and him aso being quite driven

I would say they only exist in the anime and I'm not sure we're doing anything outside of games... except they do show up in Pokemon Yellow and and Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu!/Eevee!. Though Meowth can't talk in those games.
I'm okay with using the Anime for Pokemon and Other Nintendo games, if only for the ability to get good images for our minons.

They also showed up in the manga electric tales of pikachu.
Also, the IMM has also showed up, someone I am pretty sure only shown up one anime timeline movie. And no, I don't think he showed up in the manga timeline, considering the masked guy there whom took over team rocket was Pryce...
And Domino is also very similar, only appearing in the anime verse movie mewtwo strikes back, along with the manga adaption of said movie...
They both are also big shots confirmed to work in TR, with the latter being our boss before we vanished.

So...while I make the Rolls for the quest, what do you want to know.
Could pokemon develop unique regional variants in this would... or not because it's been too short a time for that to happen.

Also, any chance we can meet any surviving Agents of S.T.E.A.M.? I know a villein victory means at least some of them died, but idea of meeting John Henry, Tom Sawyer, and Abraham Lincoln feels too good to pass up.

Nice to see this story carrying on. Some spots still feel ridiculous or awkward for me. Like the love interests and rolls escalation.

How much uh..physics "crossover" does this quest go for? Like can Crimson double jump now? Do we have to plan in mind with, magic, sci fi space magic, and straight Nano-machines Son?

I would like to know some about the other Pokémon Smash characters? I was thinking of an omake blurb of a move set, so I was wondering if could should expand to timeline changes like instead of Mewtwo it is Mew? Mewtwo is still under development right?

Another o make I want to do but don't feel confident in writing is to get further tangled in espionage by having to explain to Team Rocket that Crimson got put in charge of planting ranger agents into lower ranks of Rocket to "protect his cover?" as Crimson old files would be looked up for dropouts for agents. Maybe invented as excuse because Crimson missed a Rocket meeting or something?

Life is Awkword..so it fits.

He can only know how his Pokemon are feeling now.

[X]Get into Intense debate and Rule Lawyer them all: You know what, you can tell them they are doing it all wrong and that will get to a point where they're going to give up. (Learning Check.)

So, since it has been called. Could you give a bit on the possible happenings of the other paths?
