POKEMON RANGERS: GAME ON THE EDGE! (NO SV YOU are a HERO in a VILLIANS VICTORIOUS WORLD!)

Nobunaga

Diplomacy: 8 (He generally isn't that good at winning people over.)

Martial: 20(Oda Nobunaga is not only a skilled fighter, but also one of the best strategists on Ransei)

Stewardship: 12 (He has decent understanding on how to manage his territory)

Intrigue: 15 (His cunning mind has ensnared many who let down their guard due to being dismissed as a brash fool)

Learning: 13 (He knows a thing or two about tech, but quite limited to the more practical side)

Piety: Locked (10)

Traits:
The Demon King: He is very well known for his determination, and the many feats he pulled off, with only his sister and her prodigy friend stopping his conquest.( +20 to battle/war rolls, +30 to intimidation attempts)

Tried to create a character sheet for Ransei's second greatest warlord. somewhat lacking in diplo, but protag level intrigue/martial, to reflect both his feats and his inspiration. Game verse, he set out to conquer all of Ransei because he was tired of everyone trying to summon arceus by doing just that. His general mindset during that was pretty much prove the legend wrong, or make it so.
After those events where he met his match, he had very much mellowed out, along with most of the island. With 'conquest' becoming more a thing the warlords do out of boredom. Also, the last of the side stories was a challenge. Namely The Uniter and Oda vs everyone, which ended as expected, with the two coming out on top.

Ransei Nega-Quest
Something has happened. That is clear even as we can't tell what exactly happened. The skies show lights that wasn't there before, there are strangers that stand out even among the very few foreigners we get to begin with. The situation could easily get very complicated, with our lack of info, Ransei's standard situation, and possible outside factors that might become relevant. We could choose to start a meeting of Warlords to try and ensure cooperation in the uncertain near future. We could send ninja and others to try and see what can be learned from the mysterious outsiders, giving potentially useful information. We could also go look to recruiting wonderers, either foreigners, new talents, or friends whom haven't tethered themselves to any group, at least as a temporary basis. At least, everyone is skilled thanks to war becoming somewhat of a national pastime.

[]Gather the Warlords: Open communications with the other warlords to help keep everyone informed, and to help cooperate against possible threats.
Boon: Everyone is on the same page, and helps encourage cooperation
Bane: No direct actions taken

[]Send the Ninja: Send people to gather information on the situation
Boon: Information
Bane: Doesn't do much to build assets

[]Recruitment: See if there are people we can recruit, at least until thing calm down in case they become necessary.
Boon: Bolsters forces in case it is necessary
Bane: Running blind

[]The Great Wargame: Well, we may not know how things have changed, but nothing like a little friendly war to keep everyone sharp, and it could leave opportunities while also potentially confusing outside observers
Boon:???
Bane:???

So, Ransei vs the Nintendo-verse
We got ourselves a sizable group of veterans, many with very strong bonds with partner pokemon. We also got a factory somewhere cause why not?
A factory? I thought this was sengoku jidai inspired region?
Schizotech. One place has a full-blown automated factory, cause why not?
So, how bad is our military likely to be?
Personal, or region-wide? Since we seem to be leading a post-story Ransei?
For personal, we are likely playing as the hero character. Whom probably has an eevee squad that hits far harder than any expects, along with good skill and ESPECiALLY diplomacy.
For regionwide? Rather impressive even if just by going from named characters. Between skilled leaders, sync pairs, and ODA NOBUNAGA, we got a solid group, even if the rank and file may be lacking. Which probably isn't as much as one would think with the wargames.
Though one question is if everyone has gotten their perfect sync pairs by the point where this quest starts

Ready to confuse people?
So, one option is to pretend nothing is wrong and go back to playing wargames. Which... is actually a valid tactic cause it is bound to confuse any witnesses, and things could be done on the side. XD
Well, it is both the most interesting and most shiny. Getting distinct bunny ears lawyer vibes from that option.
Well, it is both the most interesting and most shiny. Getting distinct bunny ears lawyer vibes from that option.
Probably cause it is...
The federation constantly at war with itself, yet still finds the time to do the usual nation stuff. Thinking of voting for that purely for the looks of confusion as yet another 'war' starts among our members while we act like nothing is wrong!
So the mystery box is also the fun option. The Gather warlords is more practical, but...
It doesn't quite have the same air.
So, sounds like we may be embracing the insanity before we even start the first turn.

A/N: Decided to do something. Though I am running on the fact that it is specifically set in Ransei, a separate region, and then there is the unspecified time-frame relative to anything else. With a mention of foreign lands using pokeballs, along with some cases of rather advanced tech for a feudal state. And of course there is a Mewtwo around somewhere cause why not. Faction wise, post-main story Ransi seems very much to be more like a federation or sort of confederacy.

...Thinking of doing a negaverse N quest, focusing on the immediate aftermath of the INCIDENT...
Though I am not exactly sure of some details like what the accidental bond expy was up to, and the reaction to the kanto situation, alongside potential changes brought to N's life...

Pokémon Plasma Quest: N Rising
Even the generally sheltered life I lived did not hide how blipped up the world has gotten. Team plasma was especially active and in the confusion, Arthur disappeared and even as Ghestis pushed to spread Plasma's influence, incidents and raids happened which stymied an increasingly infuriated him.
Notably, some plasma members have just vanished even as recruitment efforts doubled down.
The question is, What should I do in this uncertain times?
[]Recruitment Time: You throw your weight around to recruit allies to aid in the stated mission, to protect Pokémon from abuse.
Boon: Recruits more friends
Bane: Little information gained Other elements may be wary

[]Spread the Message of friendship: Participate in a PR Campaign to help bring more to the cause.
Boon: Team plasma strengthened with hopefuls and idealists
Bane: Further ties yourself with wider plasma. Strengthens the corruption within

[]Journey Incognito for answers: There is so little I know, and Arthur has just vanished. So, disappearing to learn and search might be a good idea.
Boon: Great to acquire information
Bane: Time away from the powerbase

[]Something is Rotten in the Plasma: There is clearly something going on in the organization. There are things being withheld from me and most of the organization. The last words of Arthur I heard are extremely worrying
Boon: ???
Bane: ???

Well, looks like Galactic REALLY mucked things up. And Ghestis tried to milk the chaos for all it was worth.
Of course, we OOC know he is almost certainly too close to Mengsk for comfort, considering this clip.
So, we DEFENITLY don't want to keep tied to him, especially considering that with things being shaken up, our status may end up being deemed superfluous, or too much of a loose canon.

Looks like personal recruitment worries Ghetis's personal faction. Thanks to the nature of that recruitment. The PR one is exactly what it seems, and is likely the preferred choice for the 'puppet master'. Nothing for what is essentially the anime path choice. And then there is the invisitext option which is all but declaring war on Ghestis
Well. Ready to stand up for the ideals the group is supposedly found upon? It certainly would be yet another massive wrench on the PR focused takeover attempt Ghestis is attempting.
That invisitext probably only exists because of our relationship with that cheeky little spy. I mean, ho the hell would someone so capable to sneak us out so much join AND NOT become one of Ghestis's top inner circle agents?
Who wants to bet the reason he hasn't taken over the region yet is because Arthur gifted leaks of those bad for PR sites?
I guess one question is if he had done anything else, considering he probably had been building up some form of an army.
The question is, why did Arthur just up and dissappear into thin air? Sounds like there is a story behind that.
Cyberjensen said:
Oh not much, just afraid an incoming paper trail may out his true loyalties, so he decide to cut all connections to avoid the risk being hunted by people not happy with him.
Oh by the way, a multinational organization you havn't heard of just went down on a blaze of glory in Kanto.
Oh by the way, a multinational organization you havn't heard of IC just went down on a blaze of glory in Kanto.
Anyone have any idea which group he is talking about?

A/N: Well, here it is. In this I figured Arthur disappeared after finding out about what was going on in kanto, and that his influence, and bond with N has left him more uncertain in spite of having not been released onto the world yet. I also decided N managed to overhear Arthur's last message to his handler, right before his disappearance, whom also gave a massive headache over tipping off authorities of areas that shouldn't have ever been seen by even certain people in the organization.
As to what Arthur would be up to? He IS a BOND EXPY.

Things are going mad...GOOD!
Honestly, the way I thought it woul go, was that Ghestis could easily have taken over Unova...
IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE RESIDENT BOND EXPY.
I mean, Ghestis was trying to win through PR to start, and has quite a lot of skeletons to dig up, which Arthur almost certainly would to deal a massive blow to the organization, even before whatever an N influenced by him might do.:D

(Lusamine POV)

"The situation can best be described as a Multiversal causality Collapse." You heard Dr. Faba say calmly as you looked at him.

"Will it delay the project?" You said calmly.

"No…if anything it will give us samples and examples that will work to hasten Phase 1 in its entirety." He said calmly.

"Admin Wike…what of our feelers in the Region, have they come back with any good news on future assets." You said.

"He brought a Giant Robot." Faba said.

"What is going on now?" Giovanni said.

"The Upgrades to the Express are going much slower than expected." 009 said calmly.

"Explain…" You said.

"Well, given pokemon migration and the terrorism of the early consolidation it has lead to a slowdown of resources…we lack certain augmented metals." He said.

You nodded. "Pressure the Hoenn Region's bickering bridesmaids for their taxes and tribute, we need the express expanded and operational within 3 Months…you are not allowed to fail me Go."

009 saluted and left.

Despite work on getting people comfortable with the new reality, the WORK needed to secure it was very much in flux.

"Excellent…and how are the workers doing in the repair of the Flight Modules."

"They are demanding food, sir." She said.

Cause it sounds like they may be our first major enemy we need to defeat.
Giovanni is going full governor, while SOMEONE from advance wars is setting up factories to sell to warcrime buddies apparently...

The one thing going for him, he at least isn't trying to create a dystopia! Cause no matter what, a govt must do it's job( or seem like it is) to help it's citizens, or it will get replaced. Dystopia is Hard indeed.
He is now the leader, so now the problems in his area are now his problems. Gonna be interesting and kind of funny if TR reforms as part of trying to keep kanto together.

Canon Omake: In the Garden's by Radioxaxa
In the Garden's

Three words that could accurately describe someone like Erika, prodigous, Graceful and Glamorous.

Becoming Gym leader at age 14, carrying a sway into her step and fighting each battle with the intelligence of a Ransei Tactician, and always made her way too the No.1 of Celadons Top 10. Any man or woman would trade their left leg just too speak to her for 5 minutes.

How unfortunate for them, her heart was already stolen by a man who had yet too take his place in the world.

'Where are you Crimmy?' She mused, holding her half of the charm, knowing wherever her boyfriend was, it wasn't anywhere soon.

"Mistress, a man is asking for your attention." One of her trainers called, the Grass tyep Gym leader nodding as she took a break from her paperwork too see the male who had entered her all female Gym.

Dressed in a suit with a pair of glasses, he politefully bowed as her assistants left, trusting her too deal with this.

"Ah, Miss Erika, I'm thankful for you having me." The man said, a dozen words flying out of his mouth, likely trying too butter her up for whatever offer he had for her.

"Can we please cut too the chase Sir, I have a schedule today, and I would like too get it finished by 5 O'Clock." She politely inquired.

"Oh, my apologies madam." He replied, before heading straigh too the point of his visit.

"We of the Rocket foundation would believe your aide would help us go a long way in helping us achieve our goals." The suited man said, a million poke smile on his face as you internally rolled your eyes. "So we would like too offer you the position of Admin within our Group."

"A tempting offer, but I unfortunately have too much work of my own too consider helping out your group, so my answer is no." She told him, the mans smiling seemingly disappearing, before being replaced with a rather calm frown.

"Well, sorry too hear that, but you see... we're not asking you too join." He raised a hand into his pockets to reveal a MAC-10 laying inside as it was aimed for your head "These offers can only go two particular ways, so would you like to reconsider?" Erika stared into his eye, a coldness in them that may have made a younger man shiver, but he was an executive of Team Rocket. He had seen too much to be intimidated by a little girl.

"Very well, I'll change my decision." She nodded, the executive grinning smugly as his not so subtle threat worked, because of course it did.

Right before his gun fell out of hand and he lost all feeling in both his arms. The smell of pollen heard as he looked down at the orange haze emitting from beneath.

An oddish below him as it gave off a nasty glare as Erika rose up, unhooking one of her pokeballs too unleash a Shiftry as she looked coldly at him.

"I was originally going to let you off with a warning to Giovanni too buzz off, but now? I feel I need too make the message, a little clearer... " Those were the last words he heard from her as the next few hours would see him too a hospitable, with him unable too press charges, lest he reveal himself as a member of Team Rocket.

///

"Well, that's better than I expected." Giovanni sighed, reading over the report "At least she hasn't busted anything vital." Proton pointed out, standing next too his Master as the Leader of Team Rocket nodded his head.

"Quite right, I should have known better than too underestimate the Daughter of Xanatos" He sighed, before making a few calls. "Team Rocket will need too remain out of Celadon City for the next few weeks, lest Erika decide she needs too hammer in the message further that we are not too mess with her." Team Rocket couldn't afford too lose it's PR as the 'Rocket Foundation' by finding out Miss Erika had been threatened into joining, so if she blabbed her mouth, he would have too make it public and 'remove' the Executive, or keep quite and hope she would be appeased by a lack of Organised crime in her City for a while.

After all, sometimes it's better too walk past the mountain then too try and push against it.

An Invitation

"Have the letters been sent?" Giovanni asked, filing away some paperwork as Persian lazily lay on his lap.

"All 279 of them sir" Archie reassured his boss, stoicly bringing in the file as the Gym Leader grinned widely.

"Perfect" He said, sipping his tea as he looked out a window "Lets hope by next week, we find those diamonds in the mineral we're about to import..." Persian meowing in agreement as Pellipers flew off too deliver the letters given too them by their dear boss.

At 7 Am tomorrow morning, many, many trainers had been sent a note in the mail, either reading it first thing in the morning, not reading it till later on in the day, or immediately throwing it away after finding nothing of interest.

But too those who did peer in? Who's curiosity abided them and lead them too look into the bright red R adorned parchment? Well, they found quite the message inside.
