The bit about the Arcatraz being damaged is something we'll have to check ASAP.

To quote the wiki:
The Arcatraz is the third wing of the Tempest Keep instance and is a prison where the Naaru jailed the most terrifying and dangerous creatures they encountered on their journeys.

Among the inmates of the Arcatraz are agents of the black dragonflight, demons of the Burning Legion, and even servants of the mighty Old Gods.
That's all kind of gribbles there that we really don't want getting out.

Hahahaha.

Dragons! Beautiful, non-sleepy, bullshit magic, dragons! Not only are they powerful, they're also our way in with the elves, as the elves deeply respect dragons. The elves being THE power in the world besides the Slann.

And samples of everything from Draenor, no matter how rare.

We are the magic magic to magic magic magic horned people.

A History of the Draenie
Okay for the uninitiated what just happened?
OK, rough backstory of the Draenei:

They were originally called the Eredar, a race of supremely talented magic users living on the planet Argus. However one day the lord of the Burning Legion, Sargeras, came to the three leaders of the Eredar with an offer: immortality, incredible power and knowledge, devoted people etc etc.

The Burning Legion is sort of a combo of Chaos and the Tyranids, a vast army of demons united under the Dark Titan Sargeras who basically intend to burn the universe down to ash and nothingness.

Archimonde, Kil'jaeden, and Velen, said three leaders were quite interested in the offer but Velen had the gift of foresight (a very accurate gift I might add) and saw the future of said deal: his people twisted into demons and marching across worlds, burning them to ash etc. He tried to warn his brothers but they were already drinking Sargeras's kool-aid. Velen then received a vision from the Naaru, a race of energy beings that had apparently been fighting the Legion for eons, telling him how to save as many of his people as he could.

Lot of s**t happened and basically Velen's followers (the only Eredar not twisted into demons and monsters) escaped Argus in the Naaru dimensional ship Oshu'gun. At this point they took the name Draenei or "exiled ones". Kil'jaeden, the newly transformed demon lord did not take his brother's 'betrayal' well and proceeded to hound Velen for who knows how long across a multitude of worlds.

After a long time, the ship finally broke down and they crashed on a world they named Draenor, or "Exiles' Refuge" that was also home to the Orcs. Now these Orcs are completely different from Warhammer ones in that they're a natural species and kept a shamanistic lifestyle (think something like D&D druids with a sprinkling of Avatar benders). Relations weren't supreme between the peoples but they got along, did limited trading etc.

At some point despite hiding as best they could, Kil'jaeden's minions found the Draenai. This time instead of unleashing all his forces which would just make the Draenai run again (he didn't know the ship was broken) he decided to corrupt a local species to attack them instead. He managed to turn the relatively peaceful Orcs into battle-hungry berserkers forming a massive Horde to attack the Draenai by corrupting them with the blood of one of his servants greatly increasing thier strength, making them unknowing slaves etc.

The Draenai took losses but thanks to Velen's OP foresight (seriously this guy makes Eldar look like wannabes) they tricked the Orcs/Kil'jaeden into thinking they'd all been killed. At this point Kil'jaeden said 'well done' and left, leaving the Orcs to suffer and die from Fel/demon energy withdrawal in the corrupted and devastated husk of Draenor (yeah he's a massive a**hole).

More time passed, Draenor got even more messed up and eventually other Naaru arrived in the dimensional ship "Tempest Keep" to use the region as an outpost against the Burning Legion's forces.

At this point the quest diverges from canon. In canon the Blood elves (another group, long story) decided to steal the Keep while the Naaru were out fighting to save the universe for the magic and shinies within. At this point the Draenai decided they needed to leave the planet ASAP and managed to steal the Exodar module to escape.

Here the Draenai apparently managed to take the entire keep, presumably with the Naaru's blessing. So either the B.E. never took the place or they rolled a lot of nat 1s when Velen's boys bumrushed them.

Okay so basically we have a ( broken) trans dimensional fortress, a bunch of magic useing people, a Anti Chaos Faith/magic thing, Dragons and a leader who can tell the future.

Pretty sure a few Naaru came with as well.

Well the engines are broken and it would take thousands of years at least to fix if at all, magic is mostly focused on the Light and recently Shamanism, The Light isn't perfect against Chaos but it is really useful, Dragons are awesome but not perfect as well, and while Velen does have super accurate predictions as everyone knows the future is not always set in stone.

Said fortress is more a self contained sufficiently advanced magitek fortress city.

The Draenai probably won't be using traditional magic that much (enchantments/magitech is fine I think) because it can be something of a signal to the Legion of where they are.

As for the Light? Fun thing is that apparently any species (in Warcraft at least) can use this universal positive energy given time and training. Chaos is really not going to like this particularly if we start training the locals. It's also very good at frying undead.
The Light (also known as the Holy Light, Holy Light of Creation and light of Creation) is a mysterious and benevolent force in the universe. Residing in every living being, in every heart and soul, this positive energy is everywhere, binding all sentient beings together as one.

Summoned by willpower or faith in the ability to do so, the Light can be harnessed to heal, cleanse, and protect. Most of its practitioners are either priests or paladins, devoted to cleansing the universe of darkness.

Learning to wield this healing force takes years of discipline. The naaru, enigmatic beings composed of pure energy, taught the use of the Light to the draenei race, but other races have come into the study and practice of Light-based magic of their own accord.
It's practically anti-Warp energies. I'd be willing to bet that a Paladin could destroy warpstone with the Light.

If the Naaru tagged along, Chaos is going to go 150% bats**t.

GM confirmed that Elves and Dwarfs of WH can't since apparently their mindset makes it next to impossible to use since they are products of artificial creation of the Old Ones rather than evolution/devolution in Warcraft so have a sort of pre-set personality most of the time.

If you can argue against that with him and we could teach it to them that would be awesome.

Also curious to see the Light interacts with the Lore of Light.

Ah no.

Most of Draenai tech is based off Naaru gear which in some ways is similar to Protoss kit. Very little resemblance to traditional technology. It's more massive crystals charged with various energies to achieve effects.

As was said in the opening post:
Magitech: Crystals, floating things, engineering gem craft, advance magitech you people have it… it's just expensive, hard to maintain and even harder to fix.

Can someone tell me what just happened, cause I went to work and come back to see draenei won?

Also I gotta ask do omakes help with providing bonuses with a plan cause I'm sure were gonna need a lot for diplomacy with the forces of order

Draenai got chosen and the first story post here ended up with us getting ALL the things before jumping to Warhammer world.

So we got plants and animals from our world along with dragons!?:o
And we're going to need all of it.

Our ship is going to be varying levels of broken (here's hoping the Mechanar came through fairly OK) and Chaos is going to be gunning for us the microsecond it finds out about the capabilities of the Light.

Don't forget Skaven (assuming we land during a time after they are formed) that will be coming by assuming we are warpstone and then likely attacking us since they think we got said warpstone first.

Also assuming we can choose where we crash land where would we want to do so?
