Note to the people who vote for Nehekhara, we don't get to decide a start date for NotEgypt.

[x] Golden sands sparkling in the sun, with the desiccated husk of ruins scattered around the great plain, and a river that seems to run Red with blood, a black Pyramid looming in the horizon.

Having the strongest human nation on side's good.
Then going on to help found Bretonia and the Empire ahead of schedule is better.
If we play it right we'll have lots of allies.

[x] Harsh desert as far the eye can see, all around there is nothing, nothing but dead red dirt, corruption can be detected, sunk into the very ground twisting it. It begs to be free (the center of the Badlands).
[x] -1400 IC: three great kingdoms, surrounded on all sides by foes and divided within, distrustful and afraid of without, with the world slowly sliding into barbarism as Dark Gods Cackle.

I don't know why the Tally program keeps fucking up my vote.

We are great against undead, Nagash's legions are our perfect opponent and we can fight back against his plagues. Meanwhile our light falters against living subjects, like, say, orcs, who won't crumble to dust under the power of the light.

The only issue is the would-be god of death himself. And he gets downed in canon in a way we might facilitate coming faster or easier given he'll be distracted by us.

And we aren't limited to just the living humans for at least temporary backup in Nehekhara either, pretty much nobody likes Nagash.

If we do go badlands we have nobody but orcs basically. Orcs and skaven for skaven are everywhere.

An introduction to World of Warcraft and Draenie for the unitiated
Well still poking at the idea for an omake but I figured in the spirit of chucking pictures into the thread I'd give the less Warcraft-savvy individuals a general idea of what the Draenei look like, their equipment etc. Links only so people with slower connections don't get bogged down.

Also ran across this great music mix for them.

Priestess

Warrior/Paladin guarding an young female
Paladin
Shaman
Battling the undead
Mage
Paladin praying
Mage or priestess
The canon crash site of the Exodar (we'll have a few more ships/buildings at ours)

One of our biggest strengths is the Light, let's start where we can make use of it in the most effective way.

Well at least the draenei can take their pent up aggression on the undead and the orks, pretty sure some people still have bad memories of the orcs

Thank you @jwolfe_beta +15 for that to place at your leisure and any guides and introductions will be greatly appreciated.
Unless something specific pops up that makes me change my mind, chuck this at the lowest roll coming up. Either to prevent a failure for us or improve results.

Note: If you're also rolling for what the bad guys pull off and they flub it, don't use it there. Bad guys getting the crit fail is a good thing as seen in the Quest Grudges and Glory.
Curled around the warpstone, the dazed seer sits up, shaking his horned head as he prepares to cast again...only to let out a squeal of pain, a massive shard of green encrusted bone suddenly erupting from his arm.

Wow. There IS a downside to eating chunks of crystallized dark magic bigger than your head. Who knew?

Also keep it mind at this time Nagash is without any vampire minions, after Alcadizaar's first victory vampires started to argue over the course to take next and fight each other. The fight ends when the sun rose, none of the vampires able to be victorious. Neferata goes north, and Ushoran goes north. Only Wsoran stays with Nagash. So no fucking vampires!!!!!

Quick question what's our level of Technology and can we remake them, and for trading and to help us to, cause I'm sure some people would like our tech to use for themselves.

First bare in mind that pretty much everything you have is Magitech thus is inherantly magical in nature, the height of your current tech are temporal stasis fields, they are massive eat power like the great maw, but they work... sorta... they still haven't ironed out all the bugs.

In general you have 21st century understanding of the laws of physics chemistry and biology, the reason you never use normal tech is well, you have magitech why would you.

So yeah things like Germ Theory and steam engines old news, magical 3d holograms yes yes.

That being said the stuff the Naru have is WAY out of your current level, magical crystal lazer cannons powered magitech constructs you name it.

Projects for the future include magic power armor and our own lesser magitech constructs :D.

I wish I could say what that is... but my internet sucks where I currently am and cannot load it.

I promise when I get home I will say WOW, cause the quote from him is great. :D

One of the best quote on Faith is this, too bad worshipper's God was stone cold atheist.

"Faith is the soul of any army; be it vested in primitive religion or enlightened truth. It makes even the least soldier mighty, the craven is remade worthy and through its balm any hardship may be endured. Faith ennobles all of the worlds the soldier undertakes be they so base or vile, and imports to them the golden spark of transcendent purpose."
