It is possible to do a bit of both? You can have us roll for actions/events that require Soko to do some important thing or such, while having to showcase how difficult that particular action/event is. Granted, you can just show us the minimum DC of the Challenge, and then hide higher DCs that can trigger whatever else bonus events if we punch hard enough with the dice.

If you don't wanna do numbers, you can just have the player base try to extrapolate the potential difficulty by giving out subtle/explicit hints in the update/choices themselves.

We are currently at a tie, so the vote will be staying open!

Wait, this is a plan vote? I thought you were conglomerating them somehow. Approval Voting time.

Your QM's an idiot. *Popo face*

I'll be looking them over to see in which rank each would go based upon it.

Vote is closed!

I'll have the goals updated later today and the next update out by tomorrow.

As for how I'm going to run this vote.

I'll then be ranking them based upon how they were consistently ranked.

Still haven't gotten there yet, but I will and then next update.

Edit: Next time I do a plan of action for a long term goal I think I'll just do approval voting.

Soko's sheet's been updated to reflect the new goals.

That last vote was a bad idea on my end and poorly executed. Won't be doing it that way again. However, time to move this along with the next update.

E.T.A... Sometime before my body makes me collapse of exhaustion.

First Contact
Ground, meet face. Face, meet ground.

First Contact

A great many things swirled through your mind as you raced through the stars. What was important to you now? What truly mattered?

You caught the not so subtle hints your father was trying to drop. No one really wanted to continue having to live in spaceships for their entire lives. And someone had to find a way to get them all a planet to live on. Naturally, your father wanted that to be you.

Not like that'd be an easy task to accomplish. But, still important enough to warrant thought.

Secondly, you considered how strong you are. And how strong your father is compared to you. Hell, a fair amount of the adults on the Fleet are your better. Though, you knew that was the
point of the Rite, after all. Note like they sent you out here to get weaker.

You also knew, that something on this planet had to be of worth to the entire Fleet. But, you didn't have even the slightest clue as of yet. Just, something out there was going to be of use.

And then came the question of whether or not you'd tell those on this planet
why you're there. If you even look similar to them, though. . If you and Chaya did, Colby'd stand out. You were also modestly curious about how life on that planet would work.

So many questions as your mind raced and drifted. It once again graced back towards that vision of the woman. . .

And, speaking of visions.

You are no longer here. . .

***
You're no longer sitting in a space pod that's flying through space. Instead, you find yourself in what appears to be a desert.

You look around, raising your hand over your eyes to keep the brightness of the sun out. But that simple action feels strained, difficult. The scorching, sweltering heat unlike anything you've ever felt before. And your father's had you train on other planets before.

You raise your left leg with difficulty, struggling against an unknown pressure to simply move and walk forward. Something's calling you.

Or, maybe someone. You hear whispers, callings and beckonings. Of what, you cannot make out. Yet, you continue against the pressure and the heat. Against the brightness of the sun and harshness of the unrivaled wind.

You know not for how long you walk amongst the unending dunes, just that you do. And eventually, you stumble. Your walk slows, your pace unable to keep up with this pressure. You fall upon the sand, straining against the very air itself to simply not become one with the sand.

As you struggle, you hear the sounds of scraping amidst the sand. Footsteps. They don't drag heavily. Unlike yours had. A shadow soon looms overhead, and a figure stands before you.

As usual, the figure is cloaked. You are unable to make out the appearance of the being as they bend down, where their eyes surely are meeting your own.

The voice coming through, this time, is the masculine one. There's a hint of challenge to the voice.

"
At long last, you are on your way towards your destiny. Hm. I suppose you wonder the nature of these visits, do you not?"

The figure stands, taking a step to your side as you then feel a foot upon your back. It pushes you down with the greatest of ease. You can feel the grainy sand being pushed into your face.

"
You are not gifted with Sight, like myself. I know you've been curious about that. You once tried to visit me on your own. All you wound up with was a headache."

The being chuckles, their foot still firmly upon the square of your back as your struggle against it.

"
Yes, girl. Fight. Resist. With every fibre of your being and you will fail before the might that I once possessed. This world you approach is cruel to people such as us. We yearn to be strong. We yearn for a challenge. Will you be that great challenge for me?"

The pressure of the being's foot on your back eases and fades away as it walks around before you once again. You feel a hand reach out and grab you by the throat, lifting you off of the ground as if you were nothing but a feather.

"
Soon enough, our paths shall cross. And then, we will know. All will be revealed soon, child."

***

The sands of the desert fade away as your eyes open once more. The pressure is gone, though you're still not in the pod. Nor are you in on a new planet.

Instead you're floating above the ground, on somewhere you swear your recognize. Shockwaves bellow out in the air as you see a golden fury slamming into violet magnificence. A fantastic battle the likes of which you cannot keep up with. They are simply two vibrant lights attempting to outshine the other, to your eyes.

And just like that, the vision's gone.

Return…

"Now approaching planet Indran. . ."

Your eyes flutter open slowly, steadily. You sit forward as you gaze upon the planet which is only minutes away from you. The start of your life here.

It's. . . Blue, with dashes of green and brown splattered about the spherical shape. It's also, large. Far bigger than you expected it to be. You also make a quick glimpse of the moon. Not enough to catch any Blutz waves, anyways. That would have been disastrous.

The pod hurls with great speed into the atmosphere of this world, and you lean back in your seat.

Ca-CRASH!

Impact. Loud and thunderous as you land. Outside, you hear two audible splashes. Must have landed near a lake or river if the other two hit water.

You gaze out of the pod before it opens, catching the glimpse of pine trees and a now dusty forest. You glance down at the operating controls, causing the door to open.

You stand up, taking a deep breath as you take your first step out of your space pod. . .

And faceplant immediately into the ground. Your eyes widen in both shock and horror at the realization that
this planet's gravity is more than you're used to back on the fleet.

But you, are Princess Soko. And you push against the gravitational force with all your might, managing to get to your hands and knees. You fight it more, and eventually you sit upon your knees, drawing in a deep breath.

He knew the entire time! He did this on purpose!

Anger swells in you momentarily, though it passes. This is to make your stronger. A planet with such. . . Intense gravitational force? It's nothing more than a mere. . .

Okay, it's a rather
large obstacle. It drove you down onto your face and this planet made you bow to it's might. Your breath starts to slow and ease up as you glance around.

You were correct about being near a body of water. A decently sized lake sits roughly twenty feet away from your impact crater. A large clearing, with various wildlife about.

You make note of an animal gazing at you with interest in it's eyes. At a glance, it's hips are three feet off of the ground, and it's on all four legs. The tannish hide of the creature making it decently visible. A set of antlers visible.

The creature then stomps the ground with it's foremost leg, letting out a loud snort and turning away. All you see is the whitetail of the animal as it bounds away from you.

You groan as you lift you hand to your scouter, pressing it to open up a communications relay to Chaya and Colby.

"
Just...As a heads...Up….Gravity's….A lot….Here. Might….Get pod….Out of….Water before you….O-open it….And drown….Like idiots."

You hear a light chuckle from Chaya's end, before you watch the two other pods raise out of the water and then land on the beach near you. Their two pods depressurize before the two of them also wind up eating dirt.

This time, you're the one who chuckles.

However, it's interrupted by the sound of an engine. You glance up towards the sound to see a vehicle coming towards you. You've seen technology like this in your studies before, and it appears to be something similar to a jeep. It has one lone rider in it.

The jeep comes to a stop about thirty feet away from you, and the driver gets out.

He looks almost. . . Saiyan. Yet, different. There's no tail behind him, and his blue hair isn't spiky. His eyes are blue as well. He doesn't look much older than you, either. Relatively young, perhaps even amongst the Indranians?

His outfit is strange, no armor. . Though you didn't really expect that. He has a white shirt, underneath an unzipped jacket with a hood. You make out some words on the shirt. They read, "VEGA CORP".

His own features are slightly rounded. His jawline smooth, and his facial expression… Curious. There's no sign of fear on his face, despite his right hand resting on the pommel of a sword. Around his neck he wears what appears to be a small watch, that he gazes at for a moment.

He draws something out of his pocket, glancing at the screen of it. His face showing a determined look, before he nods and speaks to himself.

He then takes a step forward, taking in the situation. His steps are firm, and falm. Unyielding to the gravity here. Unlike yourself, he grew up in it.

Which causes you to take a look at your scouter to gage his power le-

WHAT!?

It's much, much lower than your own and yet he walks on this planet so easily!?

You're drawn out of the train of thought as he stands before you, and he outstretches his hand before you to grab onto.

------------

You have arrived on the planet of Indran. Unbeknownst to you, this planet held a higher gravitational force than the gravity that you were used to upon the Saiyan Fleet. This, places you at a disadvantage.

You have landed in a mountainous forest region, next to a lake. A local Indranian boy has taken note of your arrival, and is extending his hand to help you to your feet. Make your next decision wisely, as it's your first impressions.

And I bet you thought we were going to Earth, hm?

There is no moratorium on this vote. Go right on ahead and vote.

Also, sleep. I need.

Gotta make use of those traits, brudda. Gonna miss us with those casual power levels boi.

Powerlevel suppression. Shame we can't give her OOC knowledge.

Edit: Still though, increased gravity works well for us in the long run. We'll make progress towards becoming stronger.

I first read this update on mobile. The presence of invisitext was obvious. I waited eagerly for a computer. Only for this. :p

Hm...we are a guest. It does not do to make a poor worst impression. We're a princess. Poor first impressions are for people too lacking in self-control and proper manners to know better. Especially when we can barely stand and he's fine. Also, "arrogant," is a trait worth losing. Thus, in order:

[X] Take his hand.
-[X] Introduce ourself.
-[X] He has to have a name, what is it?
-[X] You have SO MANY QUESTIONS! Like, why's he even here. And what's Vega Corp?

@LightningShow What do you mean we aren't on Earth? Of course we are! Tennessee to be precise.

...I'm only partially joking because there IS a company called Vega Corp that's based in Tennessee.
