You won't get to the ship, but those three will get away and you'll at least have the ability to buy them some time. Either you win the ensuing fight and call in your space pod to send you to Earth to catch up with the other's, or you get captured. (Calls for a DC Check from the players of 75 to escape. I'll be taking only the first dice roll if this vote wins.)

Let's play the heroine. Rescue new friend. Do what we can to get information about dragon balls/dragon radar/whatever to the fleet.

Brashly overestimate our chances here. You know, heroically.

This seems like a good choice from both Soko's in-character nature and from a plot progression view... if one potentially hard on Soko remaining un-punched.

    [X] These bastards interrupted our first meal in six months, and threatening the only one who has shown willingness to make some food for us. Kill the woman.
    [X] Write-in: We have no time; Throw a rock towards Chaya and Colby,while quickly and discreetly pocketing the Dragon Radar. Then,engage our "guest",looking for any excuse to disengage and escape with Sean. Bloody her nose enough to discourage pursuit.

    -[X] Write-In: The scouter, honestly, isn't the important bit. One way or another, Sean must get out, because otherwise, we will be stranded on an alien planet with no guide and a warlord collecting the Dragon Balls, which can't be good. If Sean is captured, he can be forced to make another dragon radar, and that becomes a race against time. Instead, threaten to destroy the scouter. Hopefully, this should buy enough time for Sean to get away, and hopefully, us as well.

Just so you all know I'm still around, still intending to post. But writer's block has been horrible.

And Colossalcon is in two days I can't wait/holy shit I'm nervous.

I would like to get the update out by Wednesday night, but no promises.
 
Alright folks, the update is not coming until I get back. Which is sometime Sunday.

I will be active on my phone, maybe. Got con life to do.
 
This isn't dead yet. Life's just been a little hectic since I got back and I haven't had the time or the energy to afford to get to this. But I will, I promise.

    Off To Never-Neverland​

    As much as it may pain you to think this, but Sean's more valuable to Masba than you are. And Sean's smarts are more important to this than you brute forcing your way out of this. You grab the scouter, standing as you do so. You kick off the ground, appearing behind Sean and grabbing him by the arm. You hand him the Scouter, grab him by the collar and lift yourself off of the ground.

    You take a breath, and swing him through the air before releasing him. His eyes widen as he takes flight, almost screaming as he's hurled into the sky at his own ship. You descend to the ground, both feet touching the ground in perfect unison. Colby and Chaya catch Sean, and pull him into the ship.

    When you get out of this situation, you're going to tear into Sean over his stupid mistake he just made. The four of you should have been in the ship when it started to lift. But,     noooo, he didn't do that. And then he tried to play the hero after saying he didn't want to be one.

    You take a breath, and turn around. Feleen's glare set upon you with a striking intensity.

    "You musn't value yourself too horribly much to make such a careless act."

    You grin. This, was never about winning. Maybe you can snap her arm or break her nose and then book it. Sean was the one who was in immediate danger. You dash forth, leaping off of the ground and let your fist do the talking.

    And then it hit air. You feel her leg slam into your shins, causing you to tumble and slam into the ground. She's much faster than you in this gravity. While you can stand in it, maybe you can't fight in it.
    Will Power DC 50, Pass
    Yet, you stand. She's faster than you. She can has superior senses, and maybe she can even sense ki. You'll not get away if you don't hurt her, or….

    You don't dwell on that too much as the feline is upon you, a clawed hand swinging through the air and narrowly missing your face as you retaliate. Your knee connects with her jaw as you use your momentum in jumping back to defend yourself. You land, regaining control.

    The two of you dash at each other, she ducks beneath your attack as she slides her claws against your abdomen. The claws rip and tear your shirt, but the wounds on yourself are only superficial. Even still, she drew blood. You scowl at the beast woman.

    You consider the fact that you haven't eaten in months, and that you're unused to the gravitational forces here. You also consider the fact that     you don't care.

    Zip.

    You fly forth is a dash of magnificent speed, and with unrelenting force you drive your fist into her face with force enough to knock at least three of her teeth from her jaw. You're done playing nice. You're done trying to escape.

    Crack!

    Your leg slams into her ribs and you feel them crunching beneath the force of your blow. She backpedals, a look of what appears to be shock on her face as she spits blood from her mouth. Her hand briefly glances her chest. A signal of weakness she never should have shown.

    There's one thing you've learned from your father, whether he meant it or not. If an opponent shows a weakness in a fight, you exploit it. Even if that's to brutal levels. And she's making you mad.

    A blast of ki extends from her palms, and flies at you. You dodge of the way while dashing… Into her extended claws that rake across your face and over your right eye. Fortunately, your eye is fine but now you've got blood oozing into it. And you're going to scar.

    With a look of scourn, you dash at her. With fiery contempt, you slam your fist into her abdomen with enough force to empty her lungs.
    Willpower Check DC 75=Pass
    And instead of grabbing her by the neck to finish her off, you instead swiftly punch her between her eyes with enough force to only render her unconcious.
    Fate Roll DC=30. Welp.Ki Sense DC=Fail.
    You take a breath, grabbing from your pocket the remote for your space pod. You wipe the blood from the wound over your eye, allowing you to see better. If only temporarily. She got you decently enough. At least three of her claws. You smile, scars will make the warrior queen you will one day be look intimidating.

    You start to press a button when you hear a gush of wind, unnatural and...Wrong. You turn around, and catch a glimpse of the robes fluttering through the air before you feel a sharp blow to the muscle attaching your neck to your shoulder. Your eyes widen as you drop the remote. You're able to make out the attacker, despite your fastly fading consciousness.

    Supreme Leader Masba.

    Your eyes open and you quickly jump to your feet, your stance one of combat readiness. You glance about, alert as can be. You take in your surroundings quickly.

    You're once again on a beach, with a gentle breeze blowing through the air. You can feel the salt in the air as you smell...Something wonderful being made. There are a few palm trees scattered about the beach. You find yourself relaxing. And as you do, you notice that your wounds are gone and you're not wearing the clothing you were before.

    This is a vision. You tell yourself, able to tell the subtle difference between your, well, false states and reality.

    You decide to take a glance at your outfit. It's a uniform of some kind, made of very light yet extremely comfortable material. It bears no sleeves, though it holds an undershirt within. The pants are the same material. They almost seem to be part of the same, stitched together cloth. If not for the fabric wrapped around your waist with some excess dangling off of your left hip. You also seem to be barefoot.

    You blink. This is, different. Normally you're wearing the same clothing you were when you see these. You sit on the ground beneath you, the sand moving to allow it. You think back to what was happening before.

    You were in a fight, against Feleen. One of….Supreme Leader Masba's henchmen. And you won. Next thing you knew, you're here. You caught just enough of a glimpse of him to know that it was him who had knocked you out. That...It made little sense. How was he so fast? Are humans tougher than you thought? Are Saiyans weaker than they should be?

    Are you just simply not good enough?!

    You catch your breath. You don't know where or why that thought came from. Just that it came. You know a word for it, intrusive thoughts. That or you've simply been crazy this entire time and escape to this odd plane of...Whatever it is to be happier.

    You're eleven, you shouldn't be thinking these things.

    You close your eyes, and let out a deep breath. Upon opening them, there's a figure standing before you with their feet in the water. Their cloak billowing in the wind and for once, revealing some of their figure.

    They bear a feminine frame, lean yet tall. With white clothing upon them. You haven't seen them before, but you know them.

    "A lesson which you must soon learn and remember, Soko. Some fights you don't get to prepare for. You weren't ready for this one. For Feleen? If not for that fit of rage, maybe you would have lost. Maybe not. The future isn't so preordained as that. Strung loosely together with binding, perhaps."

    You blink. You have     so many questions, and it currently doesn't feel like you're going to be leaving here any time soon.

    You managed to save Sean and the Scouter, even managing to defeat Feleen in combat. However, you weren't prepared enough for Masba's surprise attack. You now find yourself in what seems to be a dream world with a familiar figure who's also just as mysterious as they are wise.

    Naturally, you have questions.

    I like this. It's a sort of stupid-practical that appeals to me and makes sense for a younger character like Soko.

    The color-coding being gone doesn't bother me.

    My brain was on so many things and this kept creeping back up on me, so I had to come back. And I feel decent about this update too.

    It would appear we have a three way tie. (Despite the vote tally not showing it, Vague and Riddle's votes are the same.)

    A.) We can just utilize those three votes as the winning vote.
    B.) Someone has to break the tie.

    To a point I'll go with tiebreakers, and saying as I didn't elect this to be approval voting(at least from what my understanding of that is), then I'll probably go with a tiebreaker.


    Anyways, I have a cookout today because it's father's day and such. So, happy Father's Day everyone! I'll get the post up later tonight but the vote isn't yet closed.
