I wonder if palpatine abandoned the plan to decommission the Droid control system of the B1's and instead armor it up. It was quite effective, if it wasn't for it being build into a freighter, not a purpose build ship. or better yet, put it in a giant ground side tank with an orbital shield. force it to be taken on in ground combat.

By costing Palps the means to control both sides of the conflict to his own ends, he decided to go all in on the Separatists in order to achieve his ultimate goal. It might be less ideal for him, but as long as he can reach Knightfall and A New Galactic Empire he doesn't really care.

I don't know. Once all the Separatist senators and secretly Corporate senators leave, everyone remaining will probably be fantastically cohesive!
We do need to spend a action ( or two ) to find out what factions are in the senate.

It was a worthy sacrifice to weaken the Separatist droid army. I'd rather have a separated republic then a united empire.
We should give the droids a voice in the senate.
Probably not a seat privileged to them, but we can extend the franchise to them.

We are talking about millions upon millions of droids across the galaxy with laws we just passed. We need to give them a senate seat with privileges in my honest opinion.

So set up a Freeddroid's Bureau. These new sapients will need housing, employment and other basic necessities met before they can consider putting their vote to good use. A single senate seat avails nothing.
