That... That changes Everything, we really fucked his plans as Jar Jar, shit was already a different ball game before but now, Now it's not even a ball game anymore, Canon is well and truly off the rails so hard the original track is barely a blip in the distance and the trains now a boat with Jar Jar as the new Captain.
I wouldn't say that…

The plan for papa Palps is still the same, destroy the republic and the Jedi… Anakin was kinda a bonus for him all things considered that became part of the main plan once the clone wars began due to how powerful he was.

Really as much as papa Palps wants Anakin to be his apprentice, he's kinda an after thought now.

We've thrown too much towards him to dedicate time and energy towards gaslighting and destroying Anakin.

It won't mean that Anakin isn't free from the dark side and falling but other factors would have to be at play.

Also a quick note on the Jedi currently…

A fair few young apprentices and masters are brushing up on their millitary strategy…

And let's just say it will be a cozy firefight if such a thing can happen.

And by cozy I mean a cluster fuck.

Esspecially if we get marines, and their leadership wants to be heroes.

Can the economy handle a major military buildup or reform right now?
Yea and no:

Yes it can. The new galactic lvt has started to finally take shape and begin to…. Change the demographics and has begun the long process of building a new middle class in the republic.

One that has t been seen in a thousand years.

No it can't: because you need to unfuck the economy from the monopoly that can fuck us if we don't give them what they want.

Plus you know… Tarkin still needs his Star fighters.

Hey,does visual media count as omake ?
As long as you are the creator of it, yes and it will potentially make you a lot of bonuses.

I love visual omakes. Makes me feel like I'm doing an amazing job.

Just nationalize the IGBC! Infinite money! I'm sure that would have no repercussions or downsides anywhere! :V
You could also just ask to raise the interest rates on republic credit securities.

It might not happen but doing that can buy you time.

Also nationalization if banks are outlawed under the current laws on the book.

So you would have to make a law for that.

Re:stamps, what about Judicial Bonds--which is to say a war bond, which is to say patriotically loaning to the government in our time of need?
Republic security and other bonds are some of the best for first time investors.

Well, it IS entirely possible that Anakin might end up pulling a history doesn't repeat, it rhymes.

After all, history has shown time and time again, war erodes unity, starting to ferment a new Jedi faction that clashes directly with the typically dominant Jedi faction typically entrenched in the Council. Arguably, it's somewhat luck that there hadn't been a case where a full schism was able to happen, with Raven's force falling to the dark side, and Lord Hoth's forces being wiped out, and a tired Republic giving the perfect opportunity to neuter the devastated faction with 'concessions' that didn't actually hurt them while also securing power for themselves.

I'm going to say the will of the dice is a mysterious thing. Why are quest dice like this? Makes you think luck actually does exist as a natural force.

Now here is the thing.

This is not a Jedi quest. This is a republic quest.

And while the Jedi are important we have bigger problems then with religious schisms.

Like the brewing civil war and pirates and other shit.

They hate me.

+5 roll here we come
+5 to the rolls.

So, before we start expanding the army (according to the QM) we must improve the economy... Maybe some anti-trust laws along with anti-corruption and pro-union laws? Anti-trust to directly attack the monopolies, anti-corruption so that the politicians doing the trust busting actually do their job and pro-union policies to help expand the middle class by stopping worker exploitation.

Forming the army not expanding.

The judicial would be the ones you expand if you want to do that.

So I'm noticing a lack of votes?

Everything going alright? Cause I can expand everything for a time. Just to get more time to get things going?

We just have too many options. We could Reform the Republic into the Galactic Empire this turn with the amount of political power we have, so I'm having a bit of a decision paralysis, maybe others are having the same problem.
We can't reform the galactic republic into the empire I will not allow it.

I do think continuing to focus our major efforts on economic reforms is the direction to go, while using that to fund smaller military projects (like the damn starfighters). Having to rely on it being a good year for taxes and tariffs to be able to afford even a relatively small project like that shows that we just aren't ready for a Grand Army of the Republic, not unless we want to shatter the galactic economy.

Besides, we did a major economic law last turn and then we spanked the Trade Federation. Continuing in that theme makes sense, people have come to view Jar Jar as the anti-corruption and pro-economic reform Chancellor. We should lean into that reputation and go after the other corrupt mega-corps in order to free up their horded wealth and resources for our other projects.

Just, you know, maybe invest in some armor first.

A blaster can't stop a bombbad chancellor.

He needs no armor, only the trust of the republic citizenry

A legislation for protecting the trade routes of the outer and mid rim now that the Trade Federation is being downsized and demilitarized.
A new arm of the Judicial forces to pick up where the Trade Federation leaves things.

And this might become an opportunity for us. Shev will most likely try to get some of that military into the hands of his pawns, since he will have to actually do something with the fleets and droid armies. If we can catch him in the act or or if some of that hardware shows up elsewhere it can be backtracked to the dismantling op we can get in a good hit on Shev

jar jar constantly getting shot but somehow surviving and recovering without issue every time.
proceeds to have a hospital bed replace his office chair.
