Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

Have to say that last Lucoa joke went just a bit too far for my liking. Then again I'm probably a bit of a prude. Kind of sad because her introduction seemed to imply she was a lot more on the ball then she appeared. At least in social aspects rather then intellectual pursuits.
 
Well she's retired. She's free to fuck off and do anything she wants

Hmmm, hard to say; KyoAni's actually pretty good when it comes to sequels, whether they be in show or film form, and Dragon Maid is pretty dang successful as far as I can tell. They've gotten creative with source material before - do recall this studio is the one to repeat an episode 8 times - so a sequel isn't outside the realm of possibility.
 
Honestly, I'm not seeing any way for them to make a Season 2 without including that character, as she's pretty central to the plot from the point we closed onwards?

And given how terrible that character's design is... Well, maybe if they said fuck it and re-worked her from the ground up it'd be okay?

Eh, it's only her design's that really problematic, and honestly that could be fixed with just toning it down a little.

Of course, I might say that just because I am used to the Fate franchise, where there are certain characters we are straight up not allowed to post pictures of on this site without breaking the rules.

I haven't read the manga myself, since I wasn't aware this existed until I happened to come across the anime, but the two ladies I know that read it are positively twitchy about the possibility of Iruru showing up, because apparently it kicks off a super stupid plotline that really hurt the entire manga in their eyes.

Iruru's not bad, she's just drawn that way.
 
"She's not a bad character she's just got an awful design"

The awful design is literally the central issue that makes me not want her to show up ever so I don't really feel like this addresses my complaint with her in any way?

(That said, yeah, I don't want her to show up looking like that, it's stupid.)

I honestly would not mind an english dub with Kanna's voice as a deep buff guy, if not for the sheer hilarity that might result in the english version of the anime getting redubbed back into japanese just so Japan can get deep bass Kanna.
 
On that note I just checked youtube and there's already like 5 different Abridged parodies for Kobayashi's Dragon Maid up. This show is really popular.
