Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

Ravioli, ravioli, do not fuck the dragon loli.

Lucoa, on the other hand... is prolly a shotacon, so I'm out of luck. And Tohru is Kobayashi-sexual, so...

I will say that I'm sad that all they've done with Lucoa so far is make boob and shotacon jokes. Does it get better?

Not really. She's regulated to a gag character for the rest of the show. Primarily, she's here on Earth to look after Tohru and make sure that she's okay. In fact, I think that's one of the reasons that Fafnir and Lucoa are here on Earth, because if Tohru gets out of control they're the only ones who can stop her--and it actually takes both of them to do so going by what Tohru said in the volleyball episode.

She gets a little more screentime in episode 10 though.

Also, more Kanna.

Fafnir likes magical girls.

Half unexpected but still amusing.

Now I want to see him write a magical girl manga.

I find it really cool that Kanna actually hides her horns when she's in public and there's actually an established reason that she has to do this.

Kanna doesn't know how to use Perception Blocking like Tohru does, thus she actually has to hide her dragon form unlike Tohru who can likely cast perception blocking to block out her horns and the like. It could also be symbolic of Kanna trying really hard to fit in with her classmates, to the point that in her child-like sense of logic she feels that she needs to hide everything. That's pretty deep, and likely gives us a glimpse into Kanna's own insecurities.

"Is this that CGI thing?"

Fucking gold.

Fun fact: this was a completely anime-original episode.

Yep. A few episodes were partially or mostly anime-original. The chapters of Maid Dragon are pretty short because the author focuses more on moments rather than an overarching story. I'm actually surprised at how well they are doing. Then again, the director working on this project was the same guy who worked on Haruhi, so I'm not surprised.

Damn. The brief backstory we get has plenty of room for drama/character development. Apparently she's Quetzalcoatl the god, who lost her position and was demoted to dragon because she slept with her sister. Is she resentful of her loss in power and status? Does she wish to be worshipped again? Is she actually satisfied with her way of life? Maybe her being a shotacon is trying to get a follower once again or something.

Even though she lost her position as god, I think it was stated somewhere in the anime/manga that she has continued to spread civilization around the world. For the most part, I think she just chills and spends time doing nothing now. She seems to be part of the neutral faction who doesn't help or hurt humanity.

Lucoa honestly seems like a total imp. I get a definite feeling she's the smartest of the dragons we've met, she just doesn't really give a shit and prefers to tease people.

I feel like there are pieces of a good character to Lucoa, they just need to get rid of the really skeevy elements like the stuff with Shouta (I mean come on really?!)

I think she used to sleep with her priests and is kinda basing that with him.

I mean him cross dressing him was an attempt to make him important and gaining notable status. Of course she may still be used to being the boss due to being a goddess

Poor Elma. So useless

While the anime is good, some of the scenes have been lost.Like Tohru's dad.In other news,
>Tfw you read the mangaka's work since a long time ago and the mangaka(COOL kyoushinsha) is writing maid dragon,ojojojo,komori-san,sabi nuki and Chichi chichi at the same time.
>Tfw their good but nobody scans them.

Lost? Also, I'm pretty sure that Tohru's family is going to show up eventually. It's been foreshadowed, I think.

If they aren't there, it's not because they're lost but because whoever was doing it decided that they didn't help the anime.

What I meant was Tohru's dad appears in the manga before the unicorn dragon appears.

Personally i always thought Lucoa is pretty on the ball with individual people she's also kind of a ditz in managing or interacting with groups.

She gives me the vibe she's mellowed out over the years(she seems more embarrassed then angry she was ousted) and while I really don't like the shotacon stuff I don't think she'd actually do anything past teasing.

Also it seems like she and Fafnir can comfortably beat Tohru though I doubt they can 1v1 her.

They've been jumping around the manga to make a more consistent story. If he appears it'll likely be the finale.
How are they supposed to make that chapter a finale? because what happens in that chapter is Tohru's dad shows up,yells a bit and leaves.I think the finale being the Iruru introduction and the battle with her, being more likely.
