Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

Indeed, the part where he went to live in the mountains and went full dragon freaking everyone out was hilarious.

I also love how Tohru's still trying to get Kobayashi to eat her tail.
It's a sign of love. I mean your lover eating you... there may be something more significant about that than just dragon meat which may or may not be poisonous

The way I see it, it can possibly mean two things.

1) Symbolic of their relationship, Kobayashi eating Tohru's tail will likely represent her accepting Tohru and entering a relationship with her.

2) Its some innuendo about how Tohru wants Kobayashi to "eat" her. Or maybe she wants to eat Kobayashi? *shrugs*

Bonus one...

3) Eating Tohru's tail makes you immortal.

Also, is it odd that I've been slowing finding Kobayashi more and more attractive as the story goes on? o_O

Kokurokoki confirmed for dragon attempting to blend in with the rest of us? :p

But yeah, highly enjoying it, just can't keep the smile off my face while watching it. Very pleasantly surprised and glad it was recommended to me.
(do wish that they'd cut down on Quetzalcoatl's ridiculous chest size, but minor gripe is minor.)

Oh god.... I just realized something....

This...

... is a direct reference to this...

"That's wicked."

"You can get through most conversations using them, so try to remember them."

Dayum KyoAni. You and your witty writing. And goddammit Tohru you and your lack of knowledge on humans.

Let the crossovers commence!!!

Tooru vs Genos would be fucking epic!!!!

Also some info on Kanna's voice actor.

Surprisingly she's only been active for about 3 years. Although she plays mostly cute characters, she has a nice range of characterization. Impressive!!!

Who or what is this Tanya?

I don't see her all but magical 45s so it's not the one I'm thinking if

I just read the first volume of the manga and the behind the scenes of how it was made is fascinating.

Mangaka at business meeting with editor: "What should I draw?"
Editor: "Why don't you submit something like a boy-meets-girl romance, that kind of thing?"
Mangaka: "Ok."

*Submits early sketches of this*

Editor: "This is nothing like we talked about."
Mangaka: "Nope...."

Editor: "Well, whatever, draw up thumbnails for three volumes or so..."
Mangaka: *Wait, they're ok with it?*

It's like the exact opposite of the controlling editor stereotype!

Hey there is a boy meets girl story in there still!

Lucoa and Shouta! And it's an awkward start of the relationship

Oh Tohru, you never cease to be so pridefully silly.

Also did anyone catch the 4th summer activity Kanna could do?

4) Electric Circuits

Like... WTF Japan? You're teaching your kids about engineering already?

From what I've heard about the manga Miss Koyabashi is straight or something? Or at least never shows attraction? Can anyone who has actually read it confirm?

Not that the budding friendship/closeness that the Anime's portraying isn't great, guess I'm just a shipper at heart. Though it does make me wonder, if it was Mr. Koyabashi's Dragon Butler, would I still ship them...

Wait. Yes. Yes I totally would.

Koyabashi really has been noncommital on the subject. She goes drinking with her male co-worker, but clearly as buddies. She turns down her maid's innuendos.

If there's a comment indicating any preference, I've missed it.

Well, TV Tropes claims (yes, I know this is the part where I lose all credibility in this argument) that:

"In the manga, the only time Kobayashi is shown having sexual interest in Tohru is after Iruru switches her genitals against her will."

Which if so would indicate that Koyabashi has attraction to at least certain male things. In the manga.
