Toldur is confident in his chances through he might have to make a costly bargain or two. No, but everyone who has been enthralled can non-lethally subdued without much risk to Toldur or any of the other Jorgardians. Funnily enough, those who would be strong enough to pose a martial threat as a thrall were the same individuals strong enough to avoid getting enthralled in the first place.

Could you be more specific about "costly bargain" please? If it's just money, we've got plenty, and I'll gladly run this whole campaign at even more of a net loss than it already is to put Lena in the ground. If it's something else, I'm leery.

On another note, it would have been really nice to know that Vampires had mind control magic before the several votes we've had where people argued that the village leadership had no reason to betray us so we had no need to investigate them. Would certainly have changed how fervently I argued for investigating the leadership after Julia was shown to he upset at the Prince sticking around post-battle. And probably would have made the option overall a lot more appealing just to be safe.

Yeah, I didn't think Lena could mind control the village leaders and all our support characters. I was assuming that she wouldn't be able to catch Carlos and Tasha, since they would be traveling quickly. I figured at least one of them would make it.

That is the funny thing about forced conversions, the really good people are also those who are good enough to avoid conversions....
Now it is us vs everyone else, AND we need to protect the Fragment of Vrondrunt, which is the victory condition of our enemy....

Doing a favour or two to a spirit or group of spirits. Nothing immoral or too dangerous, but favours wouldn't be easy either.

This is one of those things where people need to ask questions if they want to know things. While I try to put all of the immediately relevant information into the updates, sometimes useful/important but not immediately relevant information doesn't make it in because there is only so much stuff I can put into an update. If people had asked about what sort powers a vampire has or what sort of things to worry about from Lena, the ability to enthrall people would have come up, but nobody did and enthrallment didn't come up in the updates until you got Lena doing it, which was after she got pretty much everybody.

This isn't a jab at the voters or anything, but I can only put so much into an update and that means some information doesn't come up until it is immediately relevant to the update such as when it has started to cause trouble for the PC.

This seems to be the YOLO strat, pretty much leaving it undefended in the hope we at least keep the vampire too occupied to get the fragment.
We also need to keep in mind the vampire has a whole village at her disposal, which can be used to make not getting enthralled by her much harder.....
Edit: Another important note, there is a very real risk that she could enthrall someone with insufficient support. Not guaranteed since all of the easy targets are down, but now she doesn't need to hide, and has a whole village to aid her.

Lena isn't powerful enough to enthrall several hundred people at once, hence why she has gone for the leadership and the individual actively opposing her. You don't need to worry about fighting the whole village, especially since recent events have left the villagers distrustful of everyone and none of them want to pick a fight with a bunch of Jorgardian warriors.

Also, Alexis is also injured which is something people might want to take into account.

Still a Dragonborn with an +3 in combat and rolling D8s instead of D6s like everyone else. Incidentally, while Lena did a number on Alexis, Alexis also did a number on Lena with the whole face half-burnt off and shattered knee.

So, at least for now we have time before she gets the village to aid her, just means we got the leadership and our more support oriented characters to worry about right now, and Alexis is injured enough she likely would lose in the next encounter, as her effective stat would match those of our allies that she converted.
 
I don't think Lena will attack the site while injured, unless she manages to avoid our hunt.

1.what can Lena probably do with her enthrallment? IE can she only control a handful of people? Can she control the whole village?
2. What sort of regeneration does Lena have? IE is she still missing half a hand from when we chopped it off?
3. If hunting for her, can we get spirits help for favors right away, instead of trying to do it without owing a fafor?

Um no? Even injured, Alexis has a higher chance of winning against everyone except any of the Jorgardians.

Only a handful of people through she can do more with access to more time and resources than she currentl has.
She can heal herself, but that costs her time and resources. Aka she has to spend an action healing herself like you have to.
Toldur would try to do it on his own, but automatically get spiritual aid if that isn't working about. Aka he will try to do it without getting himself into spiritual debt, but he will go into spiritual debt to avoid failure.

Okay, we definitely need to hunt her, as we may be able to attack her before she can fully heal, and I consider it very likely she will try to heal herself.

How big of a difference would her thralls make in combat?
While Alex would stand a decent chance against the vampire alone, how much would the thralls change the equation?
