The Scarlet crusade was a very witch hunter organization. Anyone that wasn't part of their organization was deemed suspect and lead to the torture and killing of many innocents. Anyone that was even slightly suspicious was brought in and subjected to witch hunt trials. And yet they could still use the light.

Not sure if Astral fell that far in the update, We don't really have much to go on other than that brief interaction with Cordelia. But, well. It's an entirely possible outcome for a Light user to fall that far.

Ah ok. Yeah I don't know much about Warcraft lore so I was just using the title that others were using for him. Yeah I can understand why going to that extreme should be avoided, but I also don't see us taking that far.

Eh, I figure it's better to take her advice under advisement for Astral IC. Rather than wave off the danger IC just because our power is Holy. Since that's a dangerous mindset to follow.

Being a Light user doesn't make us immune to falling if we lose our way.

The Light is to put it simply an OOC context for most of BTVS for the reason that it's, to the best of it's ability, benevolent.

While people are worried that Astral is corruptable via the light, this is no more true for the light as say money, or power, or etc. Whereas the side effects of most other divine beings for magic are fundamentally inherent to said beings as well.

Any order of the above works, its just the important parts in my opinion.
Oh and the update specifically says that Astral doesn't want to tell her that he doesn't use magic yet, we can wait until after right? So no need for all the votes on that, we can fill her in if we need to not when she is trying to tell us off.

The light is somewhat corrupt in the sense that the user alway feel rightous.there is no room for doubt and alway doing the right thing put some people off.

Think of it as Jack Bauer mindset,his method is questionable harsh and brutal but his failure will cost more innocent life.
