So our sync spell scales by 1.65x per level, which is pretty good. At level 7 it will do 4029 damage.

Sun's new spell scales by 1.5x each level, which makes it a solid AOE option.

Moon's new spell is pretty meh except as a low level utility thing unless it gets some nice new abilities down the road.

Much as I love Kiritsugu, let's not advise Bianca to be Kiritsugu. >_>

By the time they would have succeeded, if they'd be able to, in their goal, any Magical Girl alive would have been so warped by the belief by the end that they'd constantly be in 'civil war' with themselves until ultimately humanity would have perished.
That... isn't how magic works. Not debating the whole "humanity would perish" bit, that's accurate, but that's not how belief and magic interact.

[X] Actually ... thinking like those are the only options seems ... wrong, it's like saying you can only get burned by the hot sun or left freezing in the moon's cold illumination, but that's not the case there are cool sunny days and warm moonlit nights all you have to do is wait for those times to come or seek them out yourself.
-[X] But hiding inside and waiting for someone to tell you when they've come just leaves you without any of them.

This is vote is probably too long but even if this doesn't get any votes I still want to leave it here because it is very easy for people to trap themselves in these fallacies like these and sometimes they just need someone to tell them to open their eyes so they can see the hole they have found themselves in so they can start climbing out.

I'll agree with the first and last.

The middle one, though? Sun's weapon (well, it's MM, but that's effectively her damage) scales by 1.8 per level and also has detonate. Unless nova gets extra abilities (which it should), her weapon's damage will be higher, and they currently have equivalent AoE abilities. Not to mention the defensive and APT benefits of leveling it.

Nova may still be a good idea to level, if it gets good abilities. But it's damage scaling is comparatively worse.

I see Supernova getting Collateral Damage and/or Apocalypse much sooner than I see Sunlight Scepter getting them.

Which is a good thing, because Apocalypse on your weapon can cause problems.

the twins though? I'm really not sure
They're young and idealistic, if learning how cruel the world can be a little bit. And they haven't been faced with this personally either, it's easy to say such, but when it comes down to it... Put on the line, I think the Twins are too compassionate to go through with such no matter what they may say on the matter.

I like this answer.

We aren't! Of course, we like them too much for the immense trauma that'd be placed on them. Of course, at the same time, we could have them say that ultimately while they agree with the decision of sacrificing the few for the many, they can also acknowledge they still view it as bad or wrong and would never personally be able to do it.

You know, I've just connected the dots on a couple more things.

1. White Glory's power is HUMANS, she empowers HUMANS and she cannot be harmed by her HUMANS.

She is a thematical foil for Yggdrassil and Abyss Knight, who were horribly wronged by HUMANS, wish to destroy HUMANS, and have powers to destroy HUMANS.

2. Baleful Eclipse is a Judgement and Juggernaut spell - a spell that is thematically meant to bypass the defenses of others, apparently - and it's JUST THAT GOOD from the outset. It is also a Synchronize spell, and as such isn't exactly governed by the same rules as normal spells.

@Naron, when does Baleful Eclipse get Supremacy, a "Rule affinity, Divine Being or Synchronize Spell" exclusive? One that would thematically follow the "bypass-defenses" part AND allow us to drop even Black Sky tier of anti-spell defenses, functionally turning Baleful Eclipse into a universal "timeout for you" spell?

Because I'm guessing the spell's final form will be:

Unstoppable | Supremacy | Non-Lethal | (Synchronize Only)

I wouldn't be that surprised by an eventual (lvl 20 or so) supremacy on it. Don't think it's likely, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I am going to say that I think you are reading way too much into 1, though. (Also, it's more of an "enslave humans" power than a "help humans", power, from the implications.)

If Supremacy is confirmed, I will be pushing pretty heavily to get it ASAP. I have compelling reasons for it, and a purpose in mind.

White Glory's weapon is literally "Contractor" - as in, a human she empowered. That's how Divine Beings have weapons, more often than not. Enslavement is also somewhat doubtful. On a side note, I can't help but think of biblical connotations for her name.

On the topic of Become Whole Again, its only likely improvements are Overheal (unlikely given its anemic healing progression) or Reincarnate (way too optimistic to get that easily - but the name this solemn might just have it, what with Resurrection of Impure World and It Is Not Yet Your Time as other examples). Whether they will be there is a different question.

The... intentional thematic foil for Abyss Knight goes by the name of Platinum Throne.

I am not answering that.
If you want to know what the Spell gets later, level it.
