Welcome to Lex Mechanica can you guide this forgeworld into a bright future ? this is a parliamentary Quest in the future of the forty-first millennium, inspired by Excellent quests of such type ( Paix Française, Little Trouble in Big China, and Springtime of Nations: A German Republic Quest) which I recommend you all give it the good once over to get an idea on the "structure" of the quest.
With the last bolt tightened, the last armored plate welded, and the sacred bottle of Holy Oils smashed into the hull of a mighty vessel, the Holy Jovian yards completed the final piece of a puzzle. Now, a most sacred mission could begin.
Centuries passed, and a trickle of members of the Holy Mechanicus made their way into the holy yards from great Mars, Ryza, and Metallica to smaller and unsung Forge worlds along the realm of men.
The orders of the founder of this expedition were clear: the Venerable Magus Explorator Dei Etul Theta proclaimed, "Send to me your faithful, the misguided, the newfound members of this holy order, and all who wish to start a new life on this journey." Following his orders, his servants were recruited far and wide to serve as the new priesthood of this new Forgeworld. From fresh magi to sects of the various sub-orders of the Holy Mechanicus, they were recruited, ranging from those who bathed in glory to those who hid in the shadows.
Sadly, the Explorator met his end before embarking on the great journey, facing his demise at the head of an Ork Waaagh commanded by the Arch-Arsonist himself while defending a Leman Russ forging plant on the planet of Kuraves.
In his will, he left instructions to the now leaderless colonization mission. The Magi were commanded to form an institution unseen since the Pact of Mars. His will was for the new Forgeworld to be ruled like the Mechanicus of old. So, the Magi recreated the Mechanicus Parliament.
The trip to the chosen system was uneventful. It seemed that the currents of the warp were satisfied taking the Old Explorator. After a relatively fast journey from Segmentum Solar to the Triplex Sector, the site of the ruins of the once-proud triple forge worlds was destroyed by the Vile Dark Mechanicus and the traitorous Night Lord legions in the Horus Heresy.
The chosen system was named to honor the explorator. The Etul system was a rare sight—a yellow star, a molten planet with a forest moon, and two rocky planets, along with a thick spread of asteroids forming a belt along the outer edges of the system.
The plan was simple: to settle on the molten planet now named Sidonia, to use their mighty vessel to create the first forge complex on this new planet and begin their new lives.
However, it seems that the Deceased Exploratory left a final gift to the members of the Expedition, hidden on the bowls of the ship a mighty cogitator array wired into techno-sorcery of the dark age began to send a signal, Being discovered rather fast the machine was studied by the Newly elected Fabricator general, the mechanisms of this machine still elude them but from what he can surmise that it was a prototype STC, one of the older models from the first forays of humanity wired into psy-technology unknown to the mechanicus but clearly human-made.
On its side, a single word was written in binary:" Pandora".
——————
Welcome to Lex Mechanica, this is a parliamentary Quest in the future of the forty-first millennium, inspired by Excellent quests of such type ( Paix Française, Little Trouble in Big China, and Springtime of Nations: A German Republic Quest) which I recommend you all give it the good once over to get an idea on the "structure" of the quest.
The main difference between those quests and this one is in the various political parties and ideologies, as those were based on earthy ideas while here you are all commanding the weirdos of the mechanicus. ( for example, a Marxist party here would need to be reimagined into the eyes of the Red Cargo cultists, instead of taking the means of production into the hands of the proletariat you might word it like "giving a better life to the Tech-thralls to acquire higher motivated workforce and so the recruits of those proles to the skitarii forces or the ranks of the proper mechanicus are of higher quality. But you also could go to New ideas that are possible in the far future)
Your Electorate
The Magi: The Magi of all stripes are senior Tech-priests with advanced specializations in various disciplines of science and technology who pursue esoteric agendas as likely to end in triumph as they are a disaster.
Those Electors are the closest thing you guys have to a pure Academic class
The Genetors: Masters of biology, these Magus explore the secret of biological materials in their quest for knowledge, these electors are a mixture of doctors, farmers (owners not workers) chemists, and masters of genetics.
The Logi: analyst, statistician, and logistician these Magi are the masters of numbers, so great are their aptitude that they can predict the future with numbers alone, These electors are your bureaucrats and middle management, masters of all numbers.
The Artisans: builders and craftsmen, these Magi are in charge of building the glorious works of the Machine God, artisanally crafted masterworks, or managing the hordes of servitors or tech-thralls.
The Chaff: electro-priest, engineseers, Transmechanics, Lexmechanics, rune priests, and the higher ranking Tech-thralls, these are the "bottom" of mechanicus society, those members are the "working class" of a forge world, with its members "stuck" in their position till the end of their life or until they climb the secrets of the Omnissiah to one of the other branches.
Starting ideologies
Xenerite: This secretive sect of the mechanicus who focuses on studying Xeno technology, believing that some Xeno tech can be used to improve the imperium.
Organicists: Primarily made up of Genetors, these Magus believe that biological augmentation is of equal value compared to Metallic ones.
Radicals: these Magus take the Holy words of the Omnissiah more as a guideline than hard rules.
Orthodox: these Magus take the Holy Word of the omnissiah as iron-clad rules, to them the tenants of the mechanicus are more important than anything.
And whatever ideology you wish to create once you make a political party.
———
The Pandora device:
The Pandora device is how I will introduce new technologies to the forge, instead of saying "You found an STC that makes your air purification 2% better" the Pandora device will feed you various technologies from a list of fictional universes I have curated.
This is how it works: the winning party Re-elects a fabricator general, his profession will depend on which of the Big 4 your party wishes to represent if it's more than one I will roll a 1dx to decide which he comes from, and then the Pandora device will give you a tech that synergies with the Fabricator general choice of domain ( for example a Genetors might get something that messes with biology or an artisan might get a gun or a special alloy)
The more you re-elect the party the stronger the technology will be, but as a warning, some technology might shake the politics of the forge, and a win might turn into a loss depending on the ideologies of the forgeworld… and tech-priest live long, so a party that keeps winning might find itself gaining a lot of enemies.
But if you want the really powerful technology it's better to send exploratory missions to find STCs when possible.
Political parties :
Party votes will be allocated towards the party as a whole, and even the party with the least votes will still receive some representation in the Parliament
( Ie 3 Votes for Plan X for Party 1 and 2 votes for Plan Y for Party 1 will become 5 votes for Party 1 with Plan X)
Votes should be limited to 5 political points and one outreach action to gain popular support (the government party won't enact the outreach, and the "losers" won't enact their political orders but will allowed to use their outreach)
Votes will also need to include which party are they open to do a coalition government and which they won't allow to.
(also pls, if you are voting for a plan and not making your own, vote only with the name of the Plan)
Updates will move in an 8-year term for the fabricator general of their choice and the composition of the Parliament.
There may be a crisis depending on the effect of the Party orders, foreign events, and other things that might happen.
Depending on the coalition members' strength both the party orders will pass rounding up for the winner ( Ie party one has 30% of the vote and party two has 20%, party one will have legislation 1-3 turned into law while party two will have 1-2 turn as well (if they don't oppose each other)
Example of the party vote for this turn (as we will be making the first parties. after just remove the "party represents" part, anyone who wishes to make one after will follow this example but will need to have 3+ votes to be made.)
Note that who you represent might change depending on your actions and future conditions.

Turn 1- year 720M41 Election results- The first steps of Sidonia
The First Forgecity of Sidonia- Hybernia (but you know .... bigger)
The inaugural election of the Sidonia Forgeworld – specifically its sole forge complex – proceeded flawlessly. The week-long consecration of the voting apparatus, coupled with the maintenance of the Noosphere infrastructure, enabled the busy Magi to cast votes from their workshops or while overseeing the burgeoning industries of the molten planet.
Remarkably, voter turnout was exceptionally high, reaching the mid-90s percentage-wise, much to the Data-smiths' dismay. Thus, the first democratic exercise since the Pact of Mars concluded smoothly, marking the end of the straightforward phase.
With 24 percent of the popular vote, the Holy Machine Faction appeared poised for a decisive victory. However, it struggled to garner support from other parties to surpass the 50% threshold. Similarly, the second-place Seeker of the Omnissiah party, known for its divisive rhetoric, failed to form a coalition. Behind the scenes, streams of binary code screeched incessantly, as overworked Logi members calculated electoral coefficients and party affiliates engaged in surreptitious dealings.
Ultimately, through strenuous efforts, the first elected government of the forgeworld was established. Surprisingly, the Humanist Party emerged victorious, having adeptly corralled the necessary support to form a barely majority coalition government with 51% of the vote.
Internal coalition dynamics were tumultuous, with conflicting interests threatening its stability. However, cooler heads prevailed, and in the year 720M41, Genetor Gwahr van Sapax ascended to the rank of Fabricator General.
His first directive involved the comprehensive scanning of the system's asteroid field. This task was arduous, as the arrival ship had been repurposed into the foundational structure of the hive. Consequently, thousands of modified Arvus Light landers, previously used for supply transport, were reassigned to survey duties.
The findings were striking: vast deposits of Adamantium, Bauxanium, Duralium, Enderrium, and Fascium, along with lesser amounts of Kultrinium, Lithicarium, Trans-sulphur, and Transuranium, plus abundant quantities of more common materials.
[For the Fabricator General's eyes only] Prospectors uncovered significant reserves of Noctilith, Aeldari Wraithbone, and other rare materials typically found in the cores of super-massive supernovas. Further research is warranted.
In his second year, the Fabricator General was convinced to enhance the forge city's modest production capabilities. Large Ferrocrete refineries were established, utilizing the abundant iron in the soil, thereby bypassing the inferior rockcrete unsuitable for Sidonia's extreme heat. Vast manufactorums for Plascrete production and ore refining were also constructed, preparing for future mining operations. Most of these industries were dedicated to supporting the expansion of the Forge City, rather than export.
In his fourth year, Genetor initiated the construction of several biodomes on the forest moon (now named Siaria by the Menial workers). These served dual purposes: reducing reliance on interstellar food shipments and providing a base for the planet's Genetors. The construction proceeded smoothly, though reports of strange creatures in the deep forests and injuries among the Servitor workforce suggested hidden dangers.
The Cult of Sollex, specialists in the sacred photon, enthusiastically assumed the management of lighting for optimal food production on the forest moon.
By the sixth year, mining operations commenced. Massive iron tubes were used to channel the planet's lava into gigantic sieves, extracting valuable minerals from the molten rock. While the surface magma yielded plenty of essential, though less glamorous, materials like Iron, Lead, and Copper, the rarer elements continued to be imported.
In his final year, the Fabricator General launched a beautification project. Light posts and other illuminating devices were installed, garnering admiration from the Cult of Sollex. This initiative not only enhanced the forgeworld's nocturnal visibility but also deterred mutants from venturing out of the few remaining shadowed areas, thereby reducing casualties among the working Menials and Servitors.
Thus concluded the Fabricator General's tenure, but the opposition parties remained active throughout.
The Holy Machine Party, having received the highest vote count, convened a conference to share their vision for the forgeworld's future, including completing the hive spire, an orbital elevator, and expanding urban infrastructure. Their presentations were accompanied by a
flood of binary data in the Noosphere, detailing plans, required materials, workforce allocations, efficiency charts, and extensive technical manuals to persuade their audience.
The United Party, though smaller in size, dedicated its efforts to humanitarian causes. A team comprising Lay Biologis adepts, Metasurgeons, Biologis Neuralis, Genetor Extremis, Grand Parasites, and Corpus Illuminators roamed the Hab-blocks, significantly improving the lives of common menials. Their interventions enabled many to resume work swiftly.
The Luminen of the Forsaken Calculus embarked on establishing several places of worship within the forge city. These temples quickly filled with devout Magi and hopeful apprentices eager to attract the attention of passing Magi.
In these temples, the Faithful of the Omnissiah delivered impassioned sermons that spurred the populace to extra shifts and a fearless embrace of death, knowing that in demise they would still serve the Omnissiah as servitors or servo-skulls. This led to increased productivity in some manufactorums and a rise in the servo-skull population.
The Steel Cult and the Warriors of the Machine God joined forces to bolster support for the forgeworld's military industries. Reports of enemies of the Machine God on Siaria provided a fertile ground for their campaign. Adsecularis, Skitarii, and Magus Dominus rallied in support of a military intervention on the moon and the commencement of weapon manufacturing for both local use and export to the wider Imperium.
As the Fabricator General's term concluded, these diverse activities and initiatives collectively heralded a new era for the Sidonia Forgeworld, signaling both challenges and opportunities ahead

(Sadly you are too poor to have a Onegar Dunecrawler)
Once again, the Forgeworld is thrust into war, not one of bolter shells and plasma blasts but of words and rhetoric. The Datasmiths, Hyper-rationalists, and Info-executors work tirelessly, tabulating different results, while party members form alliances and political blocs. One day after the election, following an almost unacceptable delay, the results of all the politicking allow the parties to form a government.
Sadly, no bloc could secure a political majority. However, the winning coalition came the closest, with the Seekers of the Omnissiah forming a faction alongside three other parties, achieving 48% of the popular vote, just shy of 50%.
Consequently, the previous Fabricator General, Gwahr van Sapax, vacated his post, paving the way for Magistrix Metallurgicus Luminar 0-XU to ascend to the highest rank in the forge.
Her first year in office was dedicated to leveraging newly acquired industries to construct housing for the Menials and other lower-tier workers of the forge. This initiative was highly appreciated by the workers, and construction commenced swiftly.
Vast Hab-blocks, made of manufactured Plasteel and Ferrocrete, rose rapidly, creating hundreds of kilometers of living space. While most accommodations were basic and simple, residents received electronic coupons to exchange for items like furniture in "waves," ensuring the forgeworld's manufacturing capabilities were not monopolized. Alongside housing, the Magistrix mandated the creation of several temples of the Omnissiah, focusing on educating the first batch of Sidonia-born members of the Adeptus Mechanicus. These tech-priests, while lacking the ancient secrets possessed by hundreds of forgeworlds' "original" settlers, were free from their biases and ideologies, forging a new "Sidonian" identity.
For now, most of these adepts fill the lower ranks of the forge, as the slow crawl of acquiring the knowledge necessary to join the more illustrious positions of the Priesthood is still beyond them... but one must start somewhere.
In her fourth year, with the bulk of infrastructure construction behind her, the Fabricator General focused on expanding the Magma sieves.
Consequently, forges throughout the Forgecity now find themselves abundant in less exotic materials. Some Magus Geologis speculate that delving deeper might yield heavier materials, but current infrastructure and technology limit such endeavors, as the ducts would need to be a mix of Ceramite and Adamantium to withstand the intense heat and pressure.
Another initiative of the current government was constructing several mobile Hab-blocks. Equipped with hover-tech, these blocks were deployed into the magma wastes to prospect new Forgecity sites and act as mobile harvesting units for rare surface ore. While most perform flawlessly, some report strange shapes in the magma and quakes around ore patches—a peculiar development indeed.
In her sixth year of governance, she commands the military forces of the forgeworld to secure the agri-domes built on the Verdant Moon.
Initially, military operations on Siaria proceeded smoothly, with bastions of military strength swiftly erected around the domes to defend the workers and servitors needed for food production.
However, when the Skitarii forces ventured into the forest, complications arose. Patrols began to disappear, and those who returned bore cuts and scrapes on their armor. Their reports confirmed the Magus Dominus's suspicions.
The enemy was identified as small, furry bipedal creatures, barely reaching a human's groin, armed with Stone Age tools and weapons. Despite their primitive armament, they proved to be masters of guerrilla
fighting, using traps and wildlife to overpower heavily armored Servitors.
For the Skitarii, such an enemy was more of an annoyance than a threat, as their augments and armor shielded them from the worst attacks. It was the enemy's "priest" class, however, that presented a significant challenge, using their dark magics to unleash warp lightning on patrolling Skitarii and "harvesting" the fallen for unspeakable rituals.
Although their psyker powers shielded them from most of our army's firepower, it was discovered that Radium weapons were highly effective. While the enemy could block the bullets, they could not shield themselves from the radiation emitted by the ammunition.
Despite these challenges, the military forces of the Adeptus Mechanicus fulfilled their duty. The beasts have been driven far from the agri-domes of the Priesthood of Mars... for now
The opposition among all this was hard at work.
The newest party, the Cogs of Justice made an appeal to all parties to start issuing legislation for the running of the Forgeworld, from legal documents to establishing policies to handle all manner of problems, from political and to managing the hordes of servitors.
they also proposed a single unified law to serve all members of the forge world, from the lowliest menial to the Fabricator general himself.
the Society of the Living Alloy found ample work these days, with the intervention upon the moon their work became very appreciated for the menials and the rare Skitarii that wished to retain a few biological features.
The faithful of the Omnissiah went into more of an academic bent, issuing logic challenges and spiritual reflections to the members of the Logi, a very much appreciated reprieve from their inane number-crunching work.
the Illuminated Mechanicus took the chance of "infiltrating" the news schools, with many of its members serving as teachers and philosophical guides to Adepts of the Machine god.
The Holy Machine faction held a conclave of the more military-minded magi, previewing various designs, designations, and patterns of weapons, many were proposed and after analyzing the reports coming out of the Forrest moon a great focus was made on analyzing the weapons that deal with radiation.
the winner of the conclave was presented to the pandora device, which was held in a makeshift (in mechanicus terms) temple, the device, however, responded, instead of giving a design or rejecting it merely beeped the following words: "psychic coefficient did not reach necessary numbers, awaiting instructions from the Akashic connection" in a monotone voice.
a monumental celebration was held, as it showed that the machine IS functioning.
the Sect of Holy Lighting Inspiration offered their expertise in the expansion of the forge Noosphere, linking the various old and new areas into the warm embrace of Binaric chants.
The steel cult looked into expanding their connection with the menials, pushing their ideology into the various refineries and manufactories made to aid the expansion of the forgeworld, while they found success, the push of the government to give them new housing diminished a great success into a "normal" one.
Imminent issues: shapes in the magma: some reports show that something is happening underground, which might be good to look into.
Skitarii triumphant: with the victories on the moon a lot of magi seem to think that investing in the military is important, mostly for the security of our green bounties on the moon.
Orbital lift: While our forgecity is taking shape the big problem of a lack of a convenient way to reach orbit is still on most people's lips, however, they can't really decide on how to solve the problem, some say of orbital elevators, other bi increasing our fleet of cargo landers and even other to invest into giant blimps to carry cargo.

The Magos is carefully removing each and every stone and pebble from the mound. Mechadendrites more suited for cargo hauling that belie the delicate work it has achieved under its owner swiftly but smoothly take each piece of stone and carefully arrange them in small piles. Each carefully catalogued and stored in the magos' memory banks for the future reconstitution to leave it the way it is.
The more specialized mechandrites of the Omnissiah's servants would be the best suited for this work according to orthodoxy but the elemental forces force in the badlands where they frequently operate force an unacceptable maintenance issue trade off. Left unsaid is that the Magos is months behind the list of spare part recipients, too low in rank for prompt service out in the fringes.
Nonetheless the magos has proven in the past that they are capable of delicate work even using the bulky repurposed cargo hauling mechadendrite. Just a few hours ago, they were used to perform a surgical transfer of a heart from an expired menial into another damaged menial with the massive arms accomplishing the stitching with the threads a nano-millimeter apart.
In another world they would claim mastery over their augments by handling eggs from common farm animals.
Magos Ind(ependent)Ana(lyst) from the High-Performance Anomaly Appraiser Clade, 599th of their name or Magos IndAna CID in non-binaric terms when they are forced to exchange information packets using their augmetics that replaced their biological mouth continues on with their work.
Under what they suspect to be a burial ground by the recently discovered Xeno creatures named Drens, they and their entire expedition are excavating the bodies for further study. They themselves are trying to carefully unearth the remains of what they believe to be of the Drens' priest caste that recently displayed some manner of warp mastery.
Their fear of the forge deciding to seek a military solution to the current issue has led them to strike out on their own with their attendants and see what can be learned before a conflict emerges that destroys said opportunities forever.
With a small coterie of servitors serving as a distraction to the local Drens that were found, the expedition swiftly began their excavation once the information from their scouts revealed the site.
Already with the last of the servitors failing their scheduled data upload reports three hours seven minutes and 43 seconds ago, the expedition has begun evacuating the excavation site with the magos among the last still feverishly working.
As their inbuilt sensoria equipment began detecting the pitter patter of these tiny xeno forms nearby, IndAna was just finishing up. Every stone and pebble back to their previous position with the remains carefully cupped between massive mechadendrites to shield it from all dangers.
With a quick burst of binaric cant, they order the remaining holdout excavators to retreat to the shuttles as they make their own retreat. They themselves being the farthest from said shuttles.
Most of the unseen and missed traps and the Drens weaponry bounced harmlessly or only made superficial damage. They had to run fast to avoid a massive rolling stone trap that the expedition missed though.
Exiting the burial site they quickly boarded the nearest shuttle and closed its door as Drens warband began pelting the transports as they lifted off.
As Magos IndAna begins to perform the rite of powering down and shifting to low energy status in the shuttle after the high intensity actions they've been making this afternoon, they were given a rude awakening when they discovered the existence of a slithering reptile that smuggled itself in the shuttle existing next to them.
With a shriek they quickly threw the creature to the nearest menial who happened to be the one they performed on some hours ago. When they were but a senior apprentice, they had already excised the part of their brain matter that could feel fear among other things.
Yet later in their life when they were a magos in their own right, they uncovered ancient codes from the noosphere and other sources that extolled the magi to keep these base reactions. The overcoming of them it said is a trial in itself.
Falling into agreement with this obscure doctrine, they attempted to regain what they excised but after many surgeries only bits and pieces were restored.
One of them was their fear of the slithering reptile, acquired when they were an unaugmented creature barely past being a new-born.

-[X] Party Name: Sidonian Explorer's Party
-[X] Party represents: Magi (Leads the Scout Parties), Genetors (Catalogue and Study Everything Encountered), Logi(Makes Sure the Expeditions Don't Run Out of Supplies), Chaff(Skitarii or Armed Servants of the Leading Explorers)
-[X] Coalition: Yes. Generally anyone that's cool with exploring but the party has a radical bent and foundation so likes radical parties more because practically exiled into the fringes are where the unorthodox admech members go so they might as well go exploring.
-[X] 1. For our first inaugural expedition since the formation of the party, we check out the magma stuff. Scan, take samples, study it and shoot at things when appropriate.
-[X] 2. Build factories that will help us outfit exploring expeditions. Ships(big and small), cogitators, vox systems and weapons just to name a few are all welcome.
-[X] 3. Send another exploration party to make contact with the "Drens" the xeno creatures on the moon. Primary goal is to ascertain their status either as "chaos" or merely having developed their own psyker traditions by whatever means necessary. A "chaos" result gets them marked as to be killed as soon as convenient. The latter result means we should enter into a negotiation with whatever political structures they have that allows us to study them and prevent further violence on the moon.
-[X] 4. Create schools and academies that can take in aspiring genetors and logi from the chaff. Offer them a general education course with the usual specializations we have access to but our real reason is so that we can test and pick out the best of the interested recruits to educate them in proper exploring.
-[X] 5. Build factories with a focus on ships that can travel to the moon. Travel from the forgecity to the moon is the hot new exploration destination with the discovery of xenos on it and we need the logistics to carry out a proper exploration. Making sure the general traffic needs between the forgecity and the moon is met is also a priority.
-[X] Outreach: Establish local explorer's clubs and associations all over Sidonian population centers and have them do some local exploring. Membership is open to all members of the electorate.
-[X] Ideology: A splinter group from the Seeker's of the Omnissiah that wishes for a more exploratory emphasis on the radical nature of their platforms. Currently this manifests as exploring Sidonia and building the infrastructure that will help accomplish that.

Like the street lamps are more nice to look at, each train station gets their own style(do we have public transport) basically less conformity for non military stuff.
-[X] 4: Start the planification of a space elevator, we can't even start to find where to build it, first we need to calculate the gravity of the planet, what materials would be optimal according to the gravity and environnement of the planet, probably more later.

Once again Elections came for the small forgeworld of Sidonia and for the first time ever a political party managed to win Re-election with the winning coalition winning 56% of the popular vote and in turn, re-electing Magistrix Metallurgicus Luminar 0-XU to the illustrious position of Fabricator general.
From the first to the fifth year of her second term, she decided to focus the resources of the various forges on the admittedly anemic myriad of forces to the forgeworld.
Although because of the small surplus that the forgeworld generates most of these vehicles are handmade by the various magus but some of the more simple parts are being made in the forges, Skorpius duneriders, Archaeopters and Ironstriders are now being seen in the various garrisons of Sidonia.
The forgemistress decided to issue two edicts for the defense of the forgeworld, the first was that If any hostile force attacked the forgeworld the various tech-priest were allowed to use unsanctioned and untested technologies in the defense of their home, mimicking the Venerable forgeworld of Ryza.
The second was to teach the lesser members of the military the basic rites of the machine god and those that show aptitude the ingression into the cult mechanicus proper.
Already hordes of electro-priests, Skitarii sargents, and tech-thralls are learning the basics of theology and how to properly honor the Machine god.
In the sixth year, the Magistrix sent a fact-finding mission against the Drens as currently, we don't know much about them.
Various scouting forces went out into the jungles consisting of Bibliophiliacs, Lexico Arcanus, and Skitarii escorts, their discovery could fill several megabits of information but can be shortened to: the Aliens technological levels are in the stone age, their society is in the Tribal age, with chieftains and shamans controlling the reigns of the tribe, Their species have an incredible psyker potential with as many as 1 in 100 being born with the connection to the warp, their deities don't appear to be chaos however blood sacrifices of defeated enemies are the norm upon conquering an enemy tribe followed.
They appear highly territorial and possess slightly cannibalistic tendencies.
From the expedition, we also managed to find several plants and herbs that might interest the forgeworld:
(Translated into low Gothic from Dren language)
Redbark tree sap: This sap is Highly flammable, rivaling even Phosphex in its burning capability.
Burning witch root: this root possesses highly capable regenerative properties, which once treated can be transferred to the user, however, the root also makes the User supremely sensitive to pain.
Rakazzak legs herb: This herb is named after an apparent extinct race and has the unique ability to overwhelm the flavors of food into a flowery flavor, it has the potential to improve the taste of our ration bars.
The mission also discovered that there are as many as 5 thousand to 10 thousand individual tribes scattered on the moon and that the shamans have access to psy-reactive materials gathered from "The Dark Lands" Further study is needed.
In her eighth, the fabricator general decided to investigate the various sightings in the various magma seas in the world of Sidonia, and what they found was pleasantly surprising.
Apparently, this world is home to several lifeforms made of silica, These lifeforms look like worms the size of a normal person to truly ancient creatures the size of baneblades, these "Lava worms" eat rocks and suck the minerals out of raw lava.
What's fascinating however is that these giants excrete highly condensed balls of minerals that aren't devoured by them and that these "Surfice raw ore patches" are actually the corpses of the creatures after their natural lifecycle, perhaps we can harness these creatures?
On her last day of office, something truly magnificent happened, the Pandora machine started screeching into the Noosphere with a passion, and in minutes a large congregation came to check on the ancient machine, however, they misunderstood what sounded like a malfunctioning was instead a miracle of the machine god himself.
After a whole hour, the machine printer lit up and started printing schematics and chemical structures.
In the end it gave the Congregation something called Saturnite, named after the Gas giant of Holy Terra apparently, the ceramic polymers are dirt cheap to make (compared to things like ceramic or other more advanced metals), and it's lightweight but very tough, resistant to small arms fire and has very high heat retention.
The most spectacular feature however is when it transforms into blades, able to slice carapace armor like air and even give adamantium deep gashes, this material has high potential to be used as blades, industrial equipment, armor piercing ammunition among other uses.
While this ends an era for the Magistrix the opposition was fulfilling their own agenda
The Steel Cult's message is heard far and wide in the few manufactoriums of the forgecity, as the reports of the Xenos filters into the populace many are enraged that the military of the mechanicus isn't punishing the devious Xenos for their arrogance.
Luminen of the Forsaken Calculus funds the application of identification Electoos as they do in Holy Terra or Mars, this device once connected to the Noosphere offers allows the various policing faction to the mechanicus to do their job far better.
Society of the Living Alloy began constructing clinics in the forest moon, although their job there is far more grafting cloned flesh in place of damaged flesh rather than any first aid, as the ones that required it are thankfully rare.
The illuminated mechanicus fill the void in our teaching school, from menials to veteran Skitarii, they instill into the virtues of sharing their knowledge with the forgeworld, this has already shown results, although poor quality a student of this program has developed the first Artillery ammo using Saturnite to form a piercing warhead.
The Holy Machine faction has done the forgeworld a great service, compilating all the little tricks and special prayers from all the Forgeworlds that our initial colonization came from, this Libra Colonis is shown to be a great help to our first schools to raise the quality of our homegrown tech-priest.
The Humanist faction built several biodomes imitating the forest of our moon in the forge city itself, this has both raised morale and the Poor air quality circulating our fine city.
The Sect of Holy Lighting Inspiration has raised a point in our fine parliament, they wish to form a conclave to establish a system through which laws can be changed and removed only if a majority of the parties agree to do it.
Do the parties of this fine parliament agree?
[ ] Yes (Law-making mini-turn)
[ ] no (leave things as they are)
And so the final year of her mandate ended and the political machines of Sidonia roared in flames
Orbital lift (High): the public really wants access to a fast way to reach orbit, both to explore our solar system and to have an easy way to reach ships in orbit (if a party fulfills this in one of their plans they get a +1 in voting)
A Miracle of the machine god: following the Gift that the Pandora device gave us the population is inflamed in their faith in the Omnissiah
