    They expand somewhat on the novel. We get to see Ains out as a adventurer, and all the main cast show up in bits. They also set up her brother having issues with her very fast. Alas the first episode ends just as she's kidnapping Euphy.

    I'm pretty sure it's leak/preshow? Proper first episode is 4th January I think.
     
    The video also has the date 2023/1/4 up in the upper corner with some Japanese text, so yeah, this is some sort of preview version that leaked.


    They're spending some time in the first episode to set up some of the stuff about the plot and premise that didn't appear until later in the light novel and manga.

    Should this thread be modified to allow for all general LGBTQ+ fiction discussion as well, or should Gay/Yaoi fiction be its own thread?

    I know there are separate threads for Yuri/Lesbian and Gay/Yaoi fanfiction each.

    It's excellent, and not just as romance stuff. It's a fun RPG too, has an interesting story, well worth the price. It's a 10-15 hour RPG, just to inform you, so if you're looking for 40 hours of play you won't get that... but, like, duh?

    The Prologue Comic is probably not 100% canon, there's a few little bits of it that are contradicted by the start of Super Lesbian Animal RPG, but it's a decent introduction to the characters!

    And yes, there is quite a lot of gay romance. Three of the four playable party members are in a relationship (two with each other), and the fourth can get into one by finally confessing her feelings during the course of the RPG.

    Which is incidentally a very cute romance and there's literally a mechanic where one of the abilities the two in love have is "Kiss [Other person]" to give them a five turn 15% boost to all stats. So the optimal way to play is for these gals to be kissing each other at the start of a fight just before they beat up wacky monsters. :V
     
    I tried reading the LN for that but I dropped off pretty early in the first volume, it wasn't holding my attention. Maybe the anime will hold my attention better so I might try it but I'm not too optimistic.

    I might check out Magical Revolution, though I'm currently reading the light novels of that series. I'm on the start of the second book and I have no idea of how much I'll be able to watch before passing what I've read.
     
    Tomo-chan is getting a start on the anime scene. Been reading the manga voraciously given early gender identity past spurred on by her tomboyish wiles and the role the two lead chars play in avoiding each other for the sake of starting an almost entirely female harem around her, or so we readers are led to believe and expect.
    And before you ask if there's a trailer yet…
