Sadly no literature masterpieces like 'My Best Friend's MILF', but I did found one that seems appealing to this forum.

Enemies to Lovers said:
by Aster Glenn Gray

Megan never expected to find love with her fandom nemesis.

Shy library science student by day, fanfic writer by night, Megan is thrilled when she discovers her new crush Sarah shares her favorite fandom. Smart, gorgeous, and brashly confident in her thoughts on fandom, Sarah is Megan's dream girl… until Megan realizes that Sarah is also her Tumblr nemesis, who called Megan's popular ongoing fic "the cancer that is killing fandom." Clearly, they must never speak again.

That is so on the fucking nose, I love it.

(I also love that even now, in this foul year of our lord 2022, with the site at the nadir of its popularity, they're still advertised as being Tumblr enemies. Using a meme from Old 4chan, no less. Your fanfic is THE CANCER THAT IS KILLING /B/)

The doll on the front cover even has a communist badge on its jacket.

On my part, I think I'll nominate

Sweet Paladin

by Alex Washoe

A Love that Transcends Time — and Scones to Die For

An idealistic celebrity chef and a legendary 12th century knight, bound together by a love neither time nor history could erase.

But is their love enough to save both their cities from the enemies that surround them?

as the most insane premise for a romance novel I've ever seen actually put to print.
Probably because I haven't really read that many.

Gundam The Witch from Mercury just had episode one drop and it's already most likely the most explicitly gay anime not advertised as such. Hopefully the show as a whole is as good as the prologue was.

Also am I the only one who thought this was a homage to Utena?
You and anyone that watched these two shows, It is basically the same premise but Gundam.

I mean seriously:
  • School with a dueling club with people dueling for the bride's hand, and more importantly for the power such marriage would bring.
  • The protagonist is a transfer student and thus an outsider to both the school's power dynamics and ignorance to the power that can be obtained through the bride.
  • The current holder is such a massive misogynistic asshole that the protagonist gets involved not for the sake of the bride's hand but just for basic common decency.
  • Bonus points because the bride has a garden.
  • And of course the massive asshole gets curbstomped by the protagonist, who is then surprised by finding herself engaged to the bride.
The only reason it isn't a carbon copy is because Suletta/Ericht and Miorine couldn't be more different from Utena and Anthy, with Suletta/Ericht being an extremely timid and socially awkward wallflower when she isn't kicking ass and tacking names behind the cockpit of her Gundam vs Utena's whole trademarked tomboy jockiness, and Miorine trying everything she can to escape her destiny vs Anthy passive-aggressive acceptance.

Oh and I guess also because of the giant space robots in space.

But Guel is literally Saionji in space.

Velma is FINALLY gonna be canon lesbian.

Velma Is Officially a Lesbian in New ‘Scooby-Doo’ Film, Years After James Gunn and More Tried to Make Her Explicitly Gay

'Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo!' has confirmed something fans and creatives have speculated for decades: Velma is gay.

Ayy, I saw the clips on tumblr

Can't find the clip where she confesses her crush to Daphne. Apparently it happened in Mystery Incorporated too, but I never finished that.

Not remotely the most important thing, but I just want to say that I love the entire concept of a dedicated costume designer for Scooby-Doo villains.

Is this the one you're talking about?

(Mystery Inc. never explicitly said it like they do here, but she gets a girlfriend in the finale and it's pretty obvious what's happening.)

Possibly! I know from reading that Rin was always canonly into Ko, but they never showed Ko figuring it out. So... *shrug*

Watched the new Scooby-Doo Movie, can recommend. Or rather, if you're a fan of Scooby Doo.

It has kooky characters, fun chase scenes, some classic gags, etc, etc.

Velma's gay and crushes on Coco Diablo, but it's mostly played for a lot of very fun gags--not taken lightly, per se, but it's not treated as any more immune from humor than Fred's Fred-ness, or the antics of Shaggy and Scooby.

So if you're like, "I hate Scooby-Doo as a show and concept, but maybe I'll like it because Velma is officially gay now" then you won't like it.

But if you hate Scooby-Doo, what's wrong with you? :V

It's really bitter sweet because on the one had it's a really good episode, but on the other hand it's clearly the mid season finale with half a season's worth of episodes compressed into two montages.

Did anyone else think it looked like Vee might have a crush on the new worker at the Historical Society, who appears to be the same goth friend who gave the tarot reading last season. Looks like Moringmark called that one. And we have a name, Masha.
