The biggest difference is in leadership styles. Minato believes in authoritarian rule by the fittest, and Koibu believes in compromise and discussion. Koibu was more popular with the heimin because he doesn't bark orders or demand tribute, Minato's guys were scarier because they were better organized.
Now they're all your guys, and you will have to find a way to reconcile the two.

Jiro would have needed a lot of help from you / otherwise been eclipsed by you. Probably would have started a tradition of martial daimyos & led to higher personal renown for Tsubaki. Shirou would have taken the Clan down a more Kenjutsu centric path.

I do see us as being as being pretty well respected by the Crab if we keep going down this way though--even beyond our origins. We're a pragmatic bunch who recognizes the use in beating jerks over the head with heavy objects, and have a strong sense of personal integrity and good battle strength.
