You looked upon this version of you caked with blood and violence. This mirage of yourself died in sadism and pointless carnage.
You stared into the dull blue mirror of yourself, and you turned away.
The pulsing red foliage rotted against your will as you denied it any form of life, any form of purchase on your scales. It tried to pull you in, to lure you back towards tempting carnage and tasty viscera.
You denied it still, stomped any hold on your mind it could grasp and walked away.
The blood died forest faded away back into faded grass and a near invisible path, that you walked with surety and confidence that you had made the right choice.
With every step plants tiling your path changed and in an instant you went from grassland to high mountain. From this place so very high you could see everything with a crystal clear clarity. Something that made the wisp of blue all the more apparent as twirled through the air just out of your reach.
