I'm just sitting here going "Okay but what is Barbie Girl's ability?" As if I am in fact actually the villain of this part and trying to prepare to fight this squad with my Stand.

Chemical Romance is fairly easy to figure out just from the name and how it looks, same with Billy Ocean.

Yes, Deep Purple(though it does appear to have thorns for hair, so it might be a punch ghost version of Hermit Purple), Crawling In My Skin, and Barbie Girl are more ambiguous. I think Barbie Girl's power has something to do with the rings. The real question is who is the JoJo.

They all are. Part 9 will be an ensemble cast made up entirely of Jojes.

The cast for Part 9, with their Stands. Left to Right.

Billy Ocean
Deep Purple
Crawling in My Skin
(My) Chemical Romance
Yes
Barbie Girl

Okay, a bit of confusion on my part. Is this part of an actual Part 9, or is this a forum game or the like?

Random thoughts: first, Stand names and abilities often do not sync. This makes a bit of underlying sense, since you do not want to give away your Stand's ability to an opponent unless you have an overwhelming advantage.

Billy Ocean comes across as one of the ones with a fairly simple esoteric ability. Something that provides a lot of flexibility while being easy to descibe, like Jolyne's Stone Free. Maybe less direct-combat oriented, but still good at fights since it can come at the situation in unexpected ways.

Deep Purple is pretty much the opposite. Either very powerful physically with a nasty ability, like Purple Haze, or a more normal combat ability backed by a powerful ability like Hanged Man. I have the sudden image of Deep Purple being able to jump between TV screens and camera phones and the like to suddenly close and attack someone.

Crawling in My Skin really makes me wary. Something that small? It is probably very fast, and has impressive range, possibly a remote or independent Stand. The obvious ability is that it gets inside someone and messes them up, though I can see it being able to detach into multiple pieces or be lots of little Stands.

Chemical Romance feels like a pure esoteric. Something that can be very powerful, but not directly - the Osiris Stand or Dragon's Dream comes to mind.

Yes come across as a punch ghost. Possibly with a slight ability that occurs when it actually punches something.

As for Barbie Girl.... all the circles other than the chest-jewel one are common parts of articulation on a doll, though it is lacking any around the waist or legs. My gut says it's a puppet-type that controls another person's movement. Rotation of the chest-jewel is probably an indicator of the power activating.

I admit I have a semi-Joke OC that's Joseph's grandson from a one night stand right after Santana fight, Jose Joestar with his stand Rolling Stone which is just a big, indestructible rock that he those at his enemies.

Isn't Rolling Stones that curse-stone from the Golden Wind side story? The one that predicted the deaths of GioGio's group?

Perhaps Yes simply hits 10% harder each time it hits someone/something? So, it might not be very effective early on, but if someone has an extremely durable Stand or one that makes defenses, then Yes might be the best option for that fight, because static defenses, even Stand-adjacent ones, are just about the worst tactics to use. Slow but tough Stands will also be vulnerable. Particularly if Yes is fast and initially weak. Sort of like Krillin's Destructo Disc. The relatively low power lulls people into a false sense of security, and then bam! Suddenly you're down an arm because he's hitting way harder than you were expecting on that tenth hit.

Ah, I've only seen through part 3. Is Combat Rock taken?
Not really. Rolling Stone in canon just shows you how you will die, and then presents to you an option for a painless death. It doesn't really do anything outside of that, it just rolls around, shows a person how they will die, and then offers suicide as an alternative. The user is actually a pretty nice guy who doesn't really control it.

Also if you don't accept it's suicide offer than it takes away the "offer" part and just chases you down in an attempt to kill you.

Yes embodies the meme from which it's taken. It has the ability to transfer any damage done to the user back to the one who inflicted it via physical contact.

"You're really going to just stand there and receive my attack!?"

"Yes."

It's extremely powerful but risky, because the user has to allow the enemy to actually hit them to activate it's effect. Without the aid of a healing Stand it may result in death. Luckily it's also a short range high power punch man too, so it's at least got that going for it.

No no. There's like, maybe one brother and sister pair and the rest of them are just completely unrelated people who happen to have first and last names with Jo syllables.
In my headcannon, Chad and tradwife are brother and sister, doomer guy and doomer girl are/were dating and the other two (I can't remember their names) are single and unrelated.

I've been trawling music that I'd like to see as the end theme to Stone Ocean and I have a funky feeling about Canned Heat by Jamiroquai.

So there's a Rohan live action being announced for December.
What's interesting is that the series Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is also known as "Rohan Kishibe Does not Move"
The name of Volume 24 of Jojolion coming out in 2 days?
"The Only Choice is to Not Move"
An interesting timing.
Perhaps this is foreshadowing for the !notRohan mangaka who Araki teased way back in 2013?
Sure Araki could've just changed his mind, but if he didn't...

Joestar radio has started!(with english subtitles)

There's going to be an episode every Sunday until the Inherited Soul event on April 4th.
It looks like each month will feature a Jojo and Jobro VA.
This month is Jonathan and Speedwagon, while December is Joseph and Caesar.
With how much of a troll Araki is and considering how he announced Part 5,
I was thinking he'd announce Part 6 on his birthday or something lol.
But Davidpro sure is hyping up this event👀
