You had gritted your teeth. In all hindsight, having an intruder in the house wasn't the most comforting thing in mind at the moment. Considering all that had happened so far, you decided that you were going to stop this person, whoever it was. The tension was so thick in the air that you could feel it practically straining on you. The footsteps were moving and that's when Jotaro clapped a hand on your shoulder, firmly gripping it.
"We're investigating. Josuke can handle the bottle. After all, he can reform it if it breaks. Get a move on.." Jotaro then had released you and headed up stairs - where the sound had come through - slowly, having delibrated that it was to be the best course of action.
Trading glances, you had bit your lip and decided that Jotaro's judgment was right. If anything went wrong, at least Josuke could have a handle on it before the situation dissolved any further. "...See you soon, ya know. Keep an eye on Aqua Necklace."
"Got it. Just be careful if you guys do start fighting whoever's up there. I'll do my best." Josuke had his eyes on you, and then turned back to the bottle.
Jotaro had looked back, waiting on you. You nodded vigorously. Considering that there was somebody in the house, you wouldn't blame him for wanting to get you at his side as soon as possible to deal with it. Jotaro had made a gesture to keep your breath quiet and to breath through your nose. So no speaking. Alright. It was for the element of surprised, you hazarded. There was no way to silence your footsteps, however. You just had to move quietly along with Jotaro. Time felt like it had slowed. Or had quickened, as you both were at the second floor. You figured this is where Josuke's room was, and his mom's room, probably a bathroom, too.
However, this seemed not to be the location where the glass shattering had come from. Whoever this individual was, they knew how to get to the upper floor with ease and to remain out of sight. Could this person really be Dorothy? God, you didn't want a repeat battle. You barely scrapped through the last instance of fighting her...
Both of you were carefully looking through the rooms, hoping that catching the intruder off guard would give you both the advantage. It would definitely ensure that Aqua Necklace wouldn't be released or that whoever it wasn't didn't enact their plans.
"...Nothing. Did they go somewhere else in the house, already?" You grumbled, hands at your hips. It really made it look awkward, considering you were holding onto a first aid kit, too.
"Impossible. They would have had to hide. The pair of us are up here, so the intruder must have hidden themselves somewhere." Jotaro insisted. "There must have been somewhere where we haven't checked!"
You pouted at this. Then you just shrugged apathetically. "Fine. We'll look again, ya know. Maybe we have missed something... We were looking around in a hurry."
As you were heading back in the other direction east of the stairs, you then suddenly heard Jotaro scream out in pain. You whipped your head around and saw him. The man from the picture, Anjuro Katagiri in the flesh. His imposing figure would have been hard to miss. He wouldn't have been able to hide himself, given his stature. Then your eyes had zeroed in onto Jotaro's back. A knife was embedded into it.
"There you are... I'd never forget a face like yours. Cute. Kissable." The intruder had started airily, as he was cocking his head, his beady black eyes had examined you, almost like you were a piece of meat to him. "You think you could escape me by capturing Aqua Necklace. The three of you saved Ryohei Higashikata. Although, you know, fate has a funny way of punishing goody-two-shoes like you..."
You felt your knees buckle, but you refused to collapse. Not here. Especially since he was starting to close in on you. His laughter had sent your body into a state of chill, as you backed up.
"You really think you can save everyone from the likes of me? You saved one person. One. Now that your friend is out of the way... it's time to get my revenge." Anjuro gave a wicked grin, as he grabbed you by the cuff of your collar. "What should I do to do you? There's so many things I can do..."
"Get the fuck away from me!" You hissed and spat in his face, only to get slapped in response. Your cheek stung, your jaw could have potentially gotten bruised. Was that possible? Man, you needed to look up your medical books.
"I won't let you escape, you know. I already got your friend downstairs."
Your blood ran cold. Did he sneak downstairs, sneak back up, and then ambushed you? But you didn't sense that he had his Stand on him. You could barely hear right now, considering you were being choked, and gasping for air. Your lungs felt like they were going to pop. You struggled for air relentlessly, trying to find a way to get yourself free. As your head was swimming, you could barely hear, Anjuro's laughter echoing in your ears, like he's won.
When you thought that all hope was gone, suddenly you had tumbled out of Anjuro's grasp and fell halfway down the stairs, landing on your right side rather painfully and you weren't sure, but you were positive that Anjuro had used his knife had sliced into your flesh, marks here and there that were quite severe wounds.
Slowly your eyes adjusted, and you witnessed Jotaro guarding the top of the staircase, who had gotten himself grappled into a fight.
"Maki! Go downstairs and grab Josuke!" Jotaro ordered, having gotten punched in the face.
Hazily you had nodded and gripped onto the staircase's banister and forced yourself down. Only to find that there was glass shattered on the ground and Josuke lying there. You had weakly tried to voice in that they have to help Jotaro only for him to suddenly stand up and to stalk over to you.
"Hello there, Maki. Let's have some fun, shall we? Your friend was quite easy to catch off guard." Aqua Necklace, using Josuke as a vessel, remarked. "I decided that since you are just so hard to keep staying down... I'll just make it happen. Let the games begin."
Crazy Diamond had come forward and you had narrowly dodged him punching you square in the jaw, although his other hit smacked you hard in the stomach, which had slammed you into the wall painfully. You couldn't have believed what you saw. Aqua Necklace had managed to take over Josuke and was using him to fight you. Goddamn was Josuke strong... no wonder why Jotaro couldn't beat him at the beginning. Luckily you had drawn your head forward enough so you didn't get a concussion and pass out, yet... Although what are you going to do now?

-[] Try to use Glow on an object and then Light to highlight it. Then use Equivalent Exchange: Dance to switch properties.
-[] Have When She Shines use her sword to block the way. You don't want to hurt Josuke...
-[] Have When She Shines try to knock out Crazy Diamond. That way so you both can escape.
[] Run to the garage. Maybe if you are lucky, you'll get a chance to patch yourself up.
[] Attempt to call out to Josuke. He has to fight back against Aqua Necklace!
