I know this is a horrible idea, so I need an excuse.
The door you will face after leaving this office can be named a Trial.
It may also be reffered to as an Ordeal, or an Agony.
You appear to possesess the strenght and will to overcome such adversity, however.
Thanks Abel.
[X] Open the door

Unless related to the old lab, The facility and Angela, abel can be trusted.
Since if we die, he dies to our life is basically linked together. We are his anchor in this world. And if we're gone, he's gone. So he will have our best interests in mind, even though he will be a bit cynical about it.

He certainly exaggerated details.

Abel: I shall not comment.

I wonder if Carmen ever asked Ayin this in the Light.
Pulling out an old but gold analysis by Nemov here...
It may seem because of the clothes. In LC, although we can see Angela clearly from all sides, this cannot be said about Carmen. Carmen in LC can only be seen when she is lying down (which already prevents the analysis), or when her chest hides tablet in her hands.
LoR is better for analysis. To begin with, Angela's usual costume in itself proves that a breast of this size can be hidden under clothes.
What factors influence Angela's visible chest size in her LC suit?
The first is a lab coat. Being behind the chest, it visually increases the size. The second is the pose. In the standard pose, she crosses her arms, which also increases the size. The third is colors. On the contrast between white and black, the chest becomes more noticeable.
What does Carmen have? Her lab coat covers her breasts. She confidently keeps her hands in her pockets and does not support her breasts. Although her clothes are not monochrome, the interaction between light colors does not help to increase the visual size.
Conclusion? We need more photos and angles of Carmen in order to make a selection.

Alternatively.
Abel: I shall not comment.
: Stop trying to imply that I'm flat! I'm not!

@drearyArchon You did City of Drama right? If I recalled correctly, it's canon to this, and you said there some interesting stuff about distortion and e.g.o from it. What's your take on the DOORS?

Before I begin, I've only done City of Drama I. I haven't turned on City of Drama II yet because it conflicts with Magical Girl of Fiction, so I don't know what's happening with the Chains of Sacrifice or any other newly released Distortions.

In City of Drama I, there are three notable things that happened with Distortion and E.G.O. The Violet Witch's Distortion intensified after she spent a bit in the Library and facing the fact that her desire is unfeasible, which is similar with what happened with the All-Devouring Persistence. The White Garden's Distortion completely failed to do what their desire wished, which opened the possibility that Distortions aren't necessarily happy with their own desires/states of being. Finally, Pickman was an E.G.O. user who was just- completely deranged by any standards. Dude literally kills orphans and the elderly to use their blood as painting supplies since he believes those kinds of people are just tragedies waiting to happen in the City. He's a complete nutcase, but he also knew his own twisted desires and accepted it, which meant he got to be an E.G.O.ist instead of a Distortion.

(There's also the Savior, but he's basically just White Night but Buddhist instead of Christian)

As for the door, I argue that we shouldn't open it. More than likely, we'll just be delaying this choice, but I'd rather do that than risk the ocean rushing in through the door and drowning dear old Wympe.

Wympe's subconscious told us not to open the door, and I trust her.

Edit: Another thing to note. While Wypme was talking to Sleepy, she thought about how she'd prefer to have Lech or Sieg as her conscience. Sleepy said she gets what she gets, but now suddenly Lech is here.

I don't trust Dream Lech.

So basically Ayin is like a anime fan trying to make/draw his favorite waifu while trying to show off/improve her physical details.
or
It's like a AI art trying draw a female character you like and it just straight up makes them extra thicc.

Well regardless Ayin is horny.

That's the problem in this case.

We are stuck in this weird spot where both sides exist in a state of quantum entanglement, where either one could be correct. Due to the various facts given throughout the chapter and the arc.

This sounds like an issues in the future if we run into something like that, for lack of a better word, a "sane" EGO user. Would need to think on which characters this could apply to.

Also, because of something I saw on twitter, I was like "wait two moons?" and then I looked into it more
Suzuran: The surging tears shocked the gods within the mountains.

They couldn't believe the river which had appeared out of nowhere. Upon seeing the source of the river, they were even more surprised.

The gods decided to send their leader, the god of Mount Sky, to talk with the girl.

The kind god listened to Dusk Beauty's story and pitied her. Thus, the god of Mount Sky said:

'Lofty heights of Mount Sky, lie yet dwarfed by the twin moons. Ascend thee to the moons, and thy husband shall thee find soon.'

Popukar: Huh?

Suzuran: Oh, sorry. It's sort of poetic and old-tymey, isn't it? Let me explain.

It means that even though the mountain was very tall, its height could not compare to the twin moons in the sky. So, if she could fly to the moons, she would definitely be able to find her husband.

In the background, you can see a moon, however, take a closer look near the right and is another... moon. And the costume description

Twin moons

Well, Sleepy also said that he's just a part of Wympe's conscience, so it could be reasoned that Lech is just another part.

The way I'm thinking is that: you guys are overthinking things.

Occam's razor says that opening the door lets the Seaborn in and that leaving keeps it out for another day.

Simple.

Edit:

If the patterns shows us anything, Then the stars are alive.

Off the cuff: The stars are probably all the other missing gods or some shit. I'm pretty sure I remember something about there being a lot more feranmuts than there are currently from my time binging some side stories.

Question did the QM made this door choice because he is trying to make a chainsaw man reference(remember that scene where Denji is told not to open the door or was it to open the door, I forgot)?

edit: With that said if we do open the door expect extreme trauma and probably character death.

The choices were left vague enough that it's basically just a coinflip, if even that, we don't know if either choice is going to help her, it's entirely possible if not straight up probable that Wympe just has to deal with it for the rest of her shortened life, the Abyssal Hunters just have to live with being half sea monster abominations, Oripathy patients have to just deal and Ebenholz's attempt to get rid of the Voice of Terra backfired spectacularly just as some examples. The Only "cure" for the various maladies is just not getting infected in the first place.
Moral of the story is: don't eat weird sea monsters.

We can argue in circles endlessly but literally not a single thing in Wympe's mind is trustworthy so the only thing we got going for us is a gut feeling.

Its time to think about things instead of rushing forward to the simplest decision.

See, here's the thing: Wympe is in no state to face the Seaborn hivemind even assuming she doesn't just get instantly assimilated.

From Wympe's perspective, she's been nothing but a burden to everyone she cared about. Arabella had to take care of her for weeks and then got captured because of her. And then when she got into trouble she had to be saved by Sieghart instead of dealing with it herself.

Facing the truth makes you stronger sure, but it can break you when you're unprepared.

As she is now, facing the truth of herself would break her as it did with Philip.

We'll take a raincheck on the truth until after Wympe and Sieg have had a good talk and have saved Arabella.
