in the end, we will just have to get the devils contact as tight as possible, this is PD's last possible life line after all. he dont get a right to bargain.

I feel like I didn't express myself in the best way last post, and I admit I perhaps was a little heated, so I'll apologize for that.
But before that...
lmao. eh I guess I watched too much online vids.
anyway IDK but thats my understanding of why WN and PD behaves the way they did.
they want to save a selected few, then did it to the extreme.
You're still possibly correct regarding this quest, after all, there's various Abrahamic religions apart from Cristianism: Judaism, the Islamic religion. And within them there's various branches too.
I don't know what the QM and Project moon decided to choose.

I am half awake rn, its half past midnight for me lol.

I just kinda want to have WN on questers side for once.
and fuck letting people die when we can do something about it.

[X] Accept its bargain
-[X] "what is your promise, if it's come in my path maybe I will do it."
—[X] "I think you're confused, you will not die. You don't want to die but I know you guys are unkillable after all you're a story maybe a legend too after this there no True death for you, you just sleep and people true death is when the world forget them, I and them will remember you"

I think it is really bad idea, threaten the one you're saving. We can give it to Angela anyway.

I will point out here that White Night is by no means 'on our side,' and we certainly shouldn't go into this vote expecting that this will be the case, or that we can cause it to become so, no matter how elaborate the write-in is.

I believe we should accept the Plague Doctor's offer for several reasons, but let's not fool ourselves about what is actually occurring lest we legitimately do something extremely foolish.

Well... Do we even know what this "promise" is about? If it's a promise to Carmen then we're getting screwed over.

she's my primary motivation too tbh. A friend likes sona, as such i must do my best to save her

[] Accept its bargain
-[] Make your expectations clear before any head-hopping occurs

Ain't no party like the one happening in Sieghart's head it seems. Honestly, it seems like the PD just wants to ride along, like Abel and the Voice Formerly Known As Carmen. I support this on the principle that it'd be interesting.

I think it's these kind of promises, about how he'll bring the future to the world and such.
"Andoain has been on a journey around the world. It was only recently that he came into my care- and saw my vision." answers Adam.

"Your vision?"

"I believe in the future."
As you two walk together, light slowly begins to shine from two spots Adam's back, materializing into two vast black-feathered wings. Then, two more wings materialize, feather by feather by feather. One at a time. Two pairs of merciful wings, and a faint purple aura shining behind the man's body. He looks at you, and you feel a sense of relief.

"I will save your life from destruction and raise you from the end of the world. Place your trust in me." he says.

"I shall heal you, curing you of all disease and injury you possess." he says.
Adam is one inch from her, wings outstretched, reaching out with his hand. You can't hear what he's saying, not from this far, but again, you can read his lips.

The meaning couldn't be any clearer.

His hand touches her forehead.

"Got you."

The world is awash with light.
Hibiscus got targeted because he's looking for idealists and optimists that falls for his kind of talk, maybe.

"Carmen and I have not spoken all that much, in truth. I am doing this because I believe on it." he pauses. "I believe giving this gift to every single individual on Terra is a worthy cause, but it is not because of her. I want this. I truly do."
There's not much of a worry for promises to Carmen because of this.

"Jamie…" he says. "Please. Just… just trust me. I can't give you a retort, not right now. But I promise to you."

The look in his eyes is sincere. He truly does believe that what he is doing is for the best.

"I'll make it all right. We'll make it all right. We'll make it better. I can compromise. I can give you anything you ask for- I can make them safe. I will not give the gift. I will not give anyone the gift if you do not wish for it to be given." he says. "...Andoain… I can fix this. Just help me."
Though, even if this kind of bargain has been played before, I hope PD lacking strength balances the table.

[] Accept his bargain.
-[] "First, you will not speak to others by any way unless Abel and Me permits you to."
-[] "Second, if time comes when we require your power, you will not try to take over."
-[] "Third, the 12th Apostle must be one of our choosing when the clock hits one hour before midnight."
-[] "Fourth...You and me are gonna start searching for that flying skull and you dont get a say in this."

"Collect a single feather, before I am taken, so some trace of me may remain. The machine will never let me go otherwise. I do not wish to break my promise. If she takes me…" it begs. "I will never leave the Library ever again. I will never escape her timeless grasp, her cold hands. Please. I have not ever broken my word. Not once. I will give you life everlasting- my Apostles ' lives shall by yours, too. And I promise that I will never make you into one of their number. I will not change who you are. I promise you. Allow that single trace of me to exist, allow my mind to exist in yours. Please. I do not wish to lose this."

The PD says "my Apostles ' lives shall by yours, too". By accepting the bargain we are not saving the apostles but becoming their new master. Admittedly we could probably just set them free (as free as an Apostle can be at any rate) but there is another caveat "And I promise that I will never make you into one of their number". This means that other people are free game when it come to making new Apostles. On top of all that he has already made a promise with Carmen and/or Adam.

"I have… I have made my promises. I have yet to break them."

None of the three apostles deserve to die but the cost of their lives are too high and we burn too many bridges to save a monster.

If we're that worried in its unreasonableness, we could theoretically extort even more promises out of it, it doesn't have much of an option. I want to have faith in its choices though.

If you are paranoid about him doing things to other people, when the voting time began, vote for my vote, that basically makes the plague doctor unable to communicate with anyone other than us unless Abel and us specifically agrees to it.

In the current situation, we are the only lifeline it has. listening to our demands is the only option he has if he wants to remain somewhat free.

It means, currently, we have infinite power above him. We are in a position to make demands and he is not in a position to refuse.

And on the subject of the apostles remains mindless...The apostles in the lobotomy corporation do not behave like that, they behave like normal employees until the 12th bell toll, and these apostles have not turned yet.

As long as white night or plauge doctor is not directly forcing its will upon them, they will regain their consciousness and human will, And we just have to make sure the turn bomb does not go off, And even if it did reach 11, my vote make sure that we get the say on who is the 12th.

And because whitenight is too prideful for him to go back on his promises, we will get the say.
