What's Reaction content? It sound like a fanfic or something from the way it's talk.

Library of Ruina fic with 170 pages. This must be good. Just let me play the mod first.

...

What the hell is this? This is one of the worst things I have seen and they are only half way through the introduction.

Is playing the mod required to read this?
I think this is many people here first introduction to the mod, so not really.

I actually considered bringing Frostnova back (having Nicole would alter the Lungmen arc and she'd end up surviving in a critical state, stuck in a bed for the forseeable future) but then I realized that amount of cope was not healthy. Yuri fans, Frostnova fans... You have to let go.
I don't think Nicole was selectable as the Protag? So I guess we start in Terra at somewhere else, meet up with Nicole, then bump into Frostnova in Lungmen? Not sure how having Nicole would lead to her surviving unless her smoke allowed a unlethal takedown or something.

The tall, aged man with green-tinted glasses and a wild rainbow-dyed mane reaching his neck is sitting behind his desk, cleaning a purple sheath with a piece of cloth.
Uh, I know that the City has all sorts of body mods and stuff but isn't this too garish-
Wait it's Turbulence Office lore. Never mind, it fits.
"I was trying to make it in the Armorless Union, but some rich girl found out about my gun, even hired some goons to beat me down for it. Ended up having to kill her when she invaded my apartment."
Is this someone we know or just some rando?

He leaves, and you're alone in the railings of the landship, staring at the landscape of the "Grand Knight Territory." It's an enormous city- reminds you of some of the busier Nests. Billboards and ads everywhere. It looks very vibrant, but there's some policy saying you can't get everywhere you want- only the Infected zone, and only accompanying a Rhodes Island operation.

It'll make searching for Linette difficult, but if she's a famed knight here and Beats is working as an announcer, it shouldn't be too complicated to contact them… but how?
Yeah, that's a drawback. Doesn't matter much here because we're gonna crash into our team/our enemies/everyone regardless, but that restriction could chafe a little in the future.
>access Operator Record:Sarasa

Accessing information…
Wait what? Whose looking us up?
No this is Closure right? From last update.

Operator Sarasa is a mercenary that leads the same organization that Operators Smokestack and Danmaku are a part of- Turbulence Office. While undergoing treatment for his Arts-induced injury, he decided to apply for a job at Rhodes Island with other members of his Office- namely, Operators Tendril, Lineage and Nio. The leader of Turbulence Office is completely different from the two other members we've seen so far- being friendly, easygoing and generally trying to push his former subordinates into social interaction.
Tendril? Really, Capone? That's the best name you could come up with?

So Closure is gonna take a peek at T-Corp bullshit, Abno bullshit, K-Corp bullshit, guns that doesn't require cancer crystal (and would probably send the angels into a frothing mess), and a history lesson.

She's Head of Engineering, so would what she look up give her ideas?

T-Corp stuff could do stuff like store, slow down and speed up time, the most notable being able to rewind time and erase wounds. It's also an enormous energy hog. Not something we can use often if at all, but when you need it you really need it.

Dreaming Current...EGO gear is probably too much, so maybe a general sensor for Light/Abnos? Defenses or Qliphoth Deterrence? Fish-based equipment? I don't know if she can even do anything with this, she's a engineer and hacker, she doesn't specialize eldritch abominations or books.

The HP thing, I don't know exactly how it works, but it meshes well Rhodes Island medical specialty and just generally good for keeping people alive. It said emergency, so it's not the general healing nanomachines I guess?

Firearms are firearms. Not bad, and workshop gear can get pretty nuts, but is ultimately lackluster compared to the other options. Also I think the angels have a thing against other races using real guns?

Smoke gear. Maybe recreate Puffy Brume, slap that shit on everyone and start running a smoke team. Have Nicole go to town. Maybe connect some dots what Nicole's deal is.

[X] HP-Based Emergency Resuscitation Protocol
Might help for keeping the squishier people alive.

I'm pretty sure these are all stuff RI had for years, the only exception being the Dreaming Current. Closure probably knows Lech anyway since they were both here since Babel. This is probably more akin to a lore dump than anything else.

From Sleepy's files:
He is wanted in Kazmierz for the murder of the Stream Knight, Ella Lisiewicz. While there was considerable evidence pointing towards a case of self-defense, Danmaku fled the country all the same, claiming that he had "no time for fucking around in the court system" and that "he was sick of that shithole of a country anyway."
I don't think its anyone important, a side character at best.

Play the mod.

I made this entire fic to get you people to play Turbulence Office. Play iiiiiit. It'll be fun. The pages you get to play afterwards are really fun too. If you meet a really bullshit mod like Cold Sun or Pinky you can bring them out and say "fuck this" to the enemy.

I beat Cold Sun with vanilla pages. Imagine me posting that one Linus Tech Tips reaction image. THE PAIN NEVER ENDS THE PAIN NEVER ENDS THE PAIN NEVER ENDS THE PAIN NEVER ENDS

I did too. Even with all its bullshit glory, it doesn't stand up to Gebura.

But come on, Glenn playing a 0 cost mass attack at turn 1, every 2 turns and whenever an ally dies is stupid even if you can go for focusing him down.

The most painful mod reception I've played so far is Distorted Xiao. But it was so well made I can't really be mad at it.

I've mentioned them before; the two worst i've played were Less Easy Ruina's Red Mist, and Kazimierz Tournament Blood Knight, easily.

That said turb is probably my alltime favorite mod (beating out the previous champ, Angels of Ruina)... though I'll admit, I do not read mod stories. The moment a cutscene comes up I'm hitting that skip button.

I'll be closing the vote roughly 10:30 hours from now. If you still want to turn this Smoke War bandwagon around or changed your mind and want to vote for something else, now's the time.

I would like to appeal to the fact that the Smoke War is completely irrelevant. It's an event that happened in the past and all of its effects are already there. There will be no future developments regarding it, while the other records have room to grow and gives us more insight to the thoughts of native Terrans regarding advanced tech. Sure the Smoke War was horrific but war isn't really anything new. Time manipulating tech or ideas made physical on the other hand are far more interesting in my opinion. So I guess I'm changing my vote again.

I'd argue that finding out what Lech's relation to Babel was like is also important, but fine.

Ughhh.

Noooo, all of them are good! I'm locking in, I can't choose.

I wanna see grandpa Lech's story time with the Arknight gang just as much as the other side stories!

I personally the Book of the Dreaming Current would be the best use of our time. Mainly, because it's one of Sieg's biggest assets at the moment but we don't know anything about it. He'll be running into WhiteNight in Kazimierz so it's best to be armed as heavily as possible.

True at the hands of an untrained civilian DC allowed him to match a heavily injured Color, in Sieg's hands it'll be downright apocalyptic. And I'm confident in Sieg's ability to stave off EGO Corrosion. Though this is more likely to be RI's thoughts on DC rather than anything truly substantial.
