The screenshot I took was from the event after Under Tide. The short burst of speed is more of a guess on my part. Another way you can see it is "She can move at supersonic speed even on land but would need to exert herself." Which I guess fit with fish, they intake oxygen through their gill while moving... or I'm thinking of shark.

Honestly, if we want to talk to Abram, we probably shouldn't forced him to fight first. We should look for Abram, and if the sitution go south, we run to the Seaborn vs Sea-Fiend battle.
It's long been confirmed that Gladiia can do supersonic bursts without lead up on land since she keeps outrunning the sound of her own voice.

Gladiia: Yet neither do I have any obligation to explain myself to you.

Gladiia: I simply believe that I should have you know. It was I who took her, a member of my own company. This suffices.

Skadi: ......

Skadi: Why?

Gladiia: You need not know the reason yet this evening.

Skadi: But Specter!

Gladiia: —(Two Iberian words)—

Before the name fully reaches Skadi's ears, Gladiia has already slipped from the ship's window into the moonlight outside, Specter's limp body disappearing with her.

Skadi does not reach out. She does not even move.

She knows well that if Gladiia wants to leave, she has no hope of ever catching her; yet, if Gladiia only wanted to escape, then she would not have left any information behind.

Kal'tsit: And even in Ægir, traipsing through the entryway of another's home without so much as a greeting ought not constitute etiquette.

???: You remain quite eloquent, but I have no intention of apologizing. Moreover...

Before the Ægir's voice reaches, she has already reappeared over ten meters away, standing before the door at corridor's end as if she had been there all along.

Only her voice, left to linger in the hallway, attests to her movement.

She presses her lance lightly against the solitary door, covered in pale blue stickers. Her expression communicates both disgust and indignation, yet her breathing is calm and unperturbed.

Gladiia: Forgive me for asking, but what purpose could compel you to allow a room of this kind, Dame Kal'tsit?

That aside, here's the current situation as it stands:

Sal Viento is about to become a warzone between the Seaborn and the Sea Fiends. Assuming we leave the two swarms alone, the Seaborn should come out on top. The Seaborn will likely have Bishop Quintus and the First to Talk among their number, probably acting as the leaders for the Seaborn in this area.

Arabella is with a unarmed Specter right now and both have a very big grudge against the Bishop. Considering how Specter is very much a "devil may care" person, she'll dive straight into the fight between the two sides even if she has to use her own fists to do it, and will likely clobber the Bishop with limbs she tore off from the Seaborn as weapons. Chances of success? Pretty likely even when she's unarmed, doubly so with Arabella around her.

Once Skadi sees Specter, she'll likely start going to her aide with or without the rest of our group, and with the two of them together, Gladiia's bound to come out of hiding to shank the First to Talk and Bishop Quintus since she has what she needed from them (Specter becoming lucid again).

Then there's the Dreaming Current who'll be gunning for Sieg, Capone, High Inquisitor Dario, and Anita to complicate things. Out of them all, Anita's the most vulnerable since she's just a malnourished kid. We'll probably need Irene and Wympe to guard her while the Dreaming Current fights the rest of our group. If I understand the Dreaming Current properly where it oozes dream stuff, it's best to fight it in the open field rather than the streets or indoors where it can paint the walls with dream stuff to summon its ocean. Ergo, once we see the battle between two sides start to peter out, we should engage in clean-up so that we fight the Dreaming Current in the beach rather than the city.

There's the One Who Watches too who hijacked Yellow Smog's body, but I don't think they're a danger to us at the moment. It wants to be human but doesn't know what that means exactly, so I hope it doesn't start eating civilians while our backs are turned.

Finally, a funny thought. Sea Fiends were former humans who got turned into Seaborn and rediscovered some shred of individuality. I wonder if the reason why they suddenly stopped fighting each other is because of memories when they were human, of having to defend Sal Viento from the Seaborn during the times before the Inquisition abandoned them to die. The Sea Fiends by all indications are solitary animals, so them allying with each other to face off against a greater threat is a curious change in behavior.

White damage is mental damage and mental damage means you're breaking someone's mind,
To me, it works like Injecting foreign thoughts into someone's head, When you are sane those thoughts breaks you down. when you are insane, those thoughts breaks you out of those loops of behaviors and destructive thoughts.
If you are wondering how I come to this conclusion, Because I can't think of any other explanation of why white damage can heal someones mind, If they are a pure destructive force, then how does that help? If they are a pure helpful force, then how does it destroy a persons mind?

The common way is in l corp to heal people's mind is inject drugs Or Use airborne ones In the break room, which doesn't sound good already, Then you learn about how lobotomy corporation heals already broken ones.
By breaking them again using mental damage.
Yeah, I won't touch that stuff if Im you, those things is at least corrosive and addictive.
Well to guarantee safety against the rainbow fart juice you'll need full body protection after all the skin can absorb anything (liquid state or is small enough to get through the pores of the skin)

But it's not like you'll want to go inside it anyway unless you want to get turned into a fine red mist.

So my plan isnt that wrong after all. Just wait for the battle to finish and goes for the kill!

Vote for my plan and we shall make Sal Viento great again!

What are you talking about? This is perfectly normal behavior. Talking like District 23 Chef.

Make sense. But I wasn't wondering if she need a start off. But like, "can she run a marathon going at supersonic speed the whole way through" or "is it a short burst of speed like a cheetah I guess." If I'm making sense.

I don't know if The One Who Watches is a special cases since it's a name Seaborn. But it seems possible, acting on instinct and vague memories they had when they were human. It remind me of a time someone told me some plot to Animoprh, where some hivemind insect gain the power to morph into a human but halfway through the process it start screaming due to it gain newly individuality and die afterward. Or how the kids after morphing into termites got overpowered by the hivemind and start waging wars against other termites and when they got turn back they have pstd from the experience of having their limbs rips off.

"The Current submerged certain hallways in rainbow liquid. According to scans, it should have presented toxic properties to the body, while simultaneously healing the mind. But for reasons unknown to us, these effects simply did not activate, and just slowed down agents traversing through the facility. It was even breathable."

oh, this is in reference to the bug in the actual lobcorp game where the dreaming current didn't actually inflict any HP damage and restore SP damage with its liquid, isn't it? it only slowed any agents standing in it by 50%, which was still enough to make it a bit dangerous since there was a threat of the charge
maybe with the lack of the qliphoth deterrence, the bug is fixed and it actually does do what it's supposed to do, which is physically corroding you and healing your mind while also slowing you down quite a bit

edit:
in regards to the actual abram fight in the ayin realization mod,
- he has a lot of consistently high rolling speed dice that that can't be slowed by bind or immobilization with any means, his pages relying on having higher speed than the target to be stronger
- abram's resistances are set to Immune, only changing to Weak (1.5x damage taken) when he is using his mass attack naturally every 4 scenes
- he deals 50% more stagger damage with his attacks, gains +2 power for each staggered librarian, and deals 10 stagger damage to all librarians at the end of the scene
- some of his attacks can inflict Bubble, which reduces your Speed equal to however many stacks of it you have. at the start of each scene, you lose HP and recover stagger resist equal to (status stack x 2), then halve the stack
- candy pages are pages that are added into your librarian's hands that you have to use atleast three each scene, with one page of abram forcing at least one candy from a targeted librarian (healing him for 10 HP and stagger resist in exchange for destroying all the really strong dice on that page), lest you get slammed by his mass attack early
- there are 5 candy types, that were each able to give abram 2 haste next scene (blue, blueberry flavored), 2 strength next scene (red, cherry flavored), an extra speed die next scene (purple, grape flavored), 2 damage up and protection next scene (yellow, lemon flavored), and 2 endurance next scene (also yellow, but corn flavored this time)
- interestingly, his mass attack actually does not do damage or stagger damage, but it does instantly stagger anyone that is hit, which plays into his passive ability to gain a ton of power per every staggered character

Would that mean other abnormalities that had their abilities bugged would revert back to how it was intended?

When I read "corn flavored" an urge to kill raised within me.

So it's like an unstoppable object (in term of moving). It get stronger against slower target, so Gladiia need to put in the work here since she's the only one who can keep up with it without bleeding the fuck out.

The bubble slowed and deal physical damage, but heal the mind. I don't really know how this status would be represented, maybe bubble clinging onto you to add dragged and popping afterward. Maybe triggered by intense action?

As Mental is represented by Stagger. I assumed the "instant stagger" would be akin to a compete mental shut down or something to that effect? So the mass attack would be flooding your mind with "candy" or something?

IDK what giving Abram candy could mean. Are we like calming him down with it?

[X] Plan: Clean Up Crew
-[X] Sieg, Capone, Wympe, and the Wandering Singer:
--[X] Get to a high perch, preferably a cliff overlooking the beach, to observe the battle and tell the rest of the team about what you've learned regarding the Dreaming Current. Launch an attack on the survivors once the fighting dies down, or once you spot the Dreaming Current headed for you or other candy holders.
-[X] High Inquisitor Dario and Inquisitor Irene:
--[X] Protect the civilians in case the fighting reaches them with particular attention given to Anita since she also has that weird candy, and act as reinforcements in case the attack on the beach goes wrong.

This should buy us the space we need to get the Inquisitors out of the way so Sieg can talk to the rest of the gang. Skadi will overhear us, but she's not the type to tattle unless it directly concerns her so it shouldn't be a problem. Besides, if she's going to help fight the Dreaming Current, she should probably know about the dos and don'ts.

Anita's a target too, so it would be best if we had someone guarding her. Dario's cautious enough to take the weird candy seriously so it should work out. If the Dreaming Current approaches from an unexpected direction, Dario and Irene will be able to hold long enough for the rest of the team to reinforce them.

I don't think this is right. Arabella called the tree she was trapped in a seafiend (aforementioned tree has killed the other seaborns unprovoked too)
Slowly, painfully, you carve more and more cracks into the tree while the damn thing is distracted trying to drink you up. The burden in your body is reduced a little, as a few of these bizarre internal roots of the tree realize their error- and the Sea-Fiend organism moves to try and patch up the crumbling sections instead of futilely searching for blood inside your body.
The difference between seaborns that were human and those that were not seems to be wether she can talk to them or not.

I'm sorry if I'm too dumb to understand, but what's the point of this?
When The Dreaming Current escaped in LobCorp it places it's rainbow water instantly, and can teleport anywhere containing it's rainbow water. I guess the water may not hinder gravity so we could jump to escape it even if we are slowed?
EDIT:
Its just to have a better view of the battle field.
I'm a dumbass^2, thanks for answering.

I kinda wish the Arknights community was big on translation as the Type Moon community is with their shit. I attempted to look for the 2nd Skadi's module story translation, even a statement on what it was about, but nothing. Somehow I ended up find Kal'tsit module story translation.

[X] Plan: Clean Up Crew

On one hand getting reliable translations for important lore would be nice, but on the other hand it means spoilers are rarer ish.

I would absolutely love to loose my mind over Amiya's module lore drop but I have to down an entire container of salt every time I think about it until we get an official translation

Are you talking about the "No Ending To This Dream" module? If so, I use this website for story text and files I can't find in game. Just type the operator's name in and you should find if it's in-game.

No Ending to This Dream said:
Skadi has dreamt a dream.

Of an abnormally beautiful view, a night sky vast as the sea, as if its reflection. Points of infinite stars, like the lights in the abyss. The air moist, too moist, so much so that it bears her with ease. A mere reach, a wave of the hand, and her body floats up, weightless. People, so many people, arms spread wide, roaming through the night, freed and at peace.
Skadi does not swim into the sky. She is sat on the shore, silently watching the scene before her, gentle waves at times caressing her boots. Her sword, ever her companion, rests by her side. On the other, there sits a girl dressed in a red dancer's dress. She wears a broad hat, behind which Skadi cannot see her face. She has hair as soft and white as her own, and so Skadi feels she is close, familiar. Like any other dream, this one has no beginning. By the time she realizes she's dreaming, she is already sitting there. The girl in red speaks. 'Are you a hunter?' she asks, voice ineffable and captivating.

'Yes.'

'Do you like to hunt?'

'I can't say I like it. But terrifying creatures are always threatening my kin. Someone has to fight them.'

'To defend your kin's lives, you must hunt other races?'

'Possibly. Maybe.'

'But then, why can we not all become kin?' the girl asks, sincere.

'Is everyone kin, where you are?' Skadi replies.

The girl seems to ponder carefully for a while, then nods.

'We don't need to hunt each other, in the place I am.'

'Then what do you normally do?'

'I do nothing. I sing.'

'It sounds like your home is more peaceful than mine.'

'It is just as you see now.'

The girl extends a slender finger, pointing far away. At the edge of vision, the line separating sea from sky is given a formless end. All life blends together, no difference, no distance.

'Goodbye. I have to go.' Skadi takes her sword and stands.

'Are you going to hunt?'

'I have to wake up. Once I do, yes. I'll carry on hunting.'

'I hope that one day, you can be free of this destiny.'

'If possible.'

......

When Skadi dreamt this dream, she had not yet left Ægir. And like many other dreams, it became a fragment of a memory, buried deep in a corner of the waves of her mind. And when she dresses in that red dancer's dress in Sal Viento, that memory remains silent.

'Now I look nothing like a hunter.' Skadi stares at herself in the mirror, murmuring.

'Who are you, right now?'

It seems to hint at how Ishar'Mla tempted Skadi into giving in, and maybe even be what Ishar'Mla's motivations are once they do fuse into one being.

Edit: Wait, you meant 2nd Skadi as in Skadi Alter, not Skadi's 2nd module. Never mind then. :p

I did mean No Ending to The Dream. And thank you. It was a long short but I thought there might be some hint to process of how Abyssal Hunter are made. I've become curious if nothing else.
Edit: During my attempt to find stuff about the making of an Abyssal Hunter.

Before long, I hear a soft singing voice from them. I look back, and as expected, it's a group of Abyssal Hunters.
As soon as I see the three of them, my heart starts to beat faster. I once told to the Doctor it was love at first sight, though of course that was a joke. In reality, my best guess was that this unusual physiological reaction was probably related to that incident when I was a child. But I've never asked about it, nor do I think about it much. Wouldn't be able to get any answers anyway, and all the thinking in the world wouldn't solve the problem. In the end, I'd just be causing extra issues for myself.
And I have a hunch – it'd be a hundred times more of a pain in the ass than Gavial dragging me to a hundred bars for a hundred nights.
So, as long as that thing stays far, far away from my daily life, I'm good. I have no desire to throw myself headlong into something that's gonna be a pain in the ass.
But occasionally, every so often...
When I close my eyes, I'll see that person. I have no idea who that person is, but I can tell, they're at the center of this whole mess.
Someone wrapped in the smell of the sea, a robed Iberian...
I stand up and sling the gun over my shoulder, pick up the only toolbox messy enough to be my own, and go to grab my second cup of juice.
I didn't copy and paste the whole thing, mostly the bit I've found important. So from what I've gather, they is a lab just for creating Abyssal Hunter. They do cut into the subject and not just simply feed them Seaborn. They MIGHT have like a sixth sense for other Abyssal Hunter, or it could just be Andreana's thing. Which is all thing we all could have made an educated guess on.

Andreana from what I understand is Iberia's attempt at making their own Abyssal Hunters since they keep on arresting her to check on how she changes overtime. Aegir refugees did end up in Iberia before the Great Silence, and they shared their technology with them.

She's a imperfect copy of the Abyssal Hunters since she also has their "kin" sense for a lack of a better term, but the others don't really feel the same way about her. She also has augmented physique, but nowhere near an actual Abyssal Hunter's level.

It was clear that while Kal'tsit had a detailed knowledge of both Skadi and Spectre, and even seemed equally familiar with Andreana, the rest of the Medical Department staff, including Warfarin, knew little about them. And just like with the others, Kal'tsit determined that Andreana's presence at Rhodes Island would not be adverse. Or at least that the benefits of them joining us would outweigh the potential harm. Otherwise, they would have been found inadmissible.

As for me, I don't know what the story is. Haha, Kal'tsit actually said it would be okay to tell me, but I refused. Knowing too much can get you in trouble. I'll leave this one to Kal'tsit.

What I took from her is that the difference between Andreana on one side and Specter and Skadi on the other is something like that between a drop of ink into clear water and a proper inkwell. The drop of ink is itself an infringement on the dignity of life, to the point that Kal'tsit expressed clear disdain for it: 'There are those who have reached their hands into places they do not belong. Those for whom this stupidity is very much in character.'

It also fits with how Dario went silent when Ulpianus asked him how many warriors Iberia had on his level, since by his assessment, Iberia needed several thousand people like Dario to even have a hope of winning the war against the Seaborn. Also ties into what St. Carmen said about how the secret of the upper echelons of the Inquisition was that they know the war is already lost, all they're doing is making sure that they lose slowly in hopes of a miracle.

I wouldn't put it past the Inquisition to try and replicate the Abyssal Hunters via what scraps of Aegirian tech they have left. If a lab for that does exist somewhere, it'll be kept as a top secret facility.
