For a ninja, exploding herbs would be a pretty neat thing to have. Hinata discovering a new breed of herb that could be repurposed as a weapon would probably be a good thing.

Unless, of course, she discovered that they explode by picking some. Ouch. An explosion to the face would not be good. I think I'd take a bad first impression over potential blindness any day. At least we could blame the latter on the poor social skills of a shy six-year old.

Given that this is a Gamer quest, the odds may actually be subject to change depending on whether or not we can wrangle a skill for socializing out of something. :V

Edit: I don't actually mind if we get a bad social roll, personally, I think that'd be interesting! Howevah, I think it's necessary for someone other than the QM to point out the bad things that might happen because voters have a bad tendency to forget things like that and then get really huffy.

All we know for sure is that it's obviously an important event. And on its own, that probably won't narrow it down much, even when assuming said event is even in the history books- We're talking about an S-class secret here, after all. Those sorts of things tend to come with lots of blacked-out reports and redacted details.

I find it hard to believe that a six-year old Hinata would read Konoha's official story about the Kyuubi attack, and jump to the conclusion that Naruto's got a giant demon sealed in him.

It seems out of character for us to suddenly approach naruto. Maybe if MC becomes a bit less shy.
History seems a far safer bet for finding out without looking at the term

My biggest question is how Hinata knows that Lvl. = Level = Power. As per that one ZnT Gamer fic.

Or does Konoha have video games and Hinata is familiar via passive exposure, if not actual experience? Naruto tech levels are so dumb.

In my experience, 6 year olds are closer to curious old cats with somewhat similar casual acceptance of things happening than what we saw.

@mrttao, while metagaming can seriously affect a story-only thread, I think the fact that the possibility of talking to any of our classmates that have a name was a default vote option should show GM thinks it is IC.

Though of course, you can have metagaming reasons for IC votes.

You have 2 actions for School hours.

Each Peer is 1 action.
I did worry that that might not be clear.

You can select 2 people to try and make friends with, but it will use both actions.
You are still at an academy, most of your time is going to be spent going to class, doing the lesson plan.

This vote is for what you get to do in the in between moments, when you aren't in class.

If you were more of a Social Butterfly, you might have been able to interact with them in a group, but social butterfly Hinata is not.

Also the "Observe" vote is to just in general paying closer attention to them during the course of the day.

You should edit the last threadmarked post to clarify it in there, this post you just made is not very visible and will be easily missed by people.

Since most votes before this announcement have voted for interacting with 2 people as a single action and then another additional action, how do you want to resolve this for vote counting? Restart the vote from the time of announcement?

Also, these votes are going to be a PITA to count (especially if looking for cases where people vote for 3 things instead of 2) due to the format used...

Tally program-wise (and hence vote counting-wise) the easiest thing to do would be to restart on the next page, which is, only a few posts away. Quick, someone (with @zero_traveler 's permission) shitpost. We're only like two posts away from page 10.
