Are you saying use a COmmand Seal to get Shinji killed?

That is a terrible use of a Command Seal. First they're often one of the few things that keep a Servant from turning on their Master. Second they're each pretty much a use of, "Defy reality for free."

Burning one on Shinji is a total waste.

Also, he ain't wrong there. We're still recovering The World use, we've learned that using four of five The World uses puts us in a coma, and honestly, I would not be keen on pitting The World against any of the Knight classes.

Assassins....well, tend not fare well.

I didn't say use a conmand seal all we have to do is use that telepathy ability that masters have with their servants and then order her to kill him.

Changing my vote

[X] Transfer the command seals to yourself
-[x] Use your connection to Assassin to order her to kill Indigo
--[x] Then check on Oriko and Sayaka.

Ixe makes a good point and I had completely forgot about the whole telepathy thing, its suppose to stretch pretty damn far.

I think he just meant to use the psychic connection with our servant to ask her to kill him. I'm pretty sure the connection can reach that far...

Tbh I can't recall that connection. I mean obviously Shirou can't use it but so far all the examples I can recall of Masters ordering their Servants from afar used a Command Seal...

Can you remember an example of its use?

That's only if you use them wrong.

In canon, Saber was the only class to make it to finale of the Holy Grail War, for all five wars. Assassin's are supposed to be used to target the Masters, but, well, when every Master stats with three Command Seals to immediately recall their Servants then that becomes a tricky proposition.

And that's ignoring the Masters who recognize this and therefore keep their Servants close.

Whenever Rin brings Archer to school with her she talks to him pretty much constantly and never opens her mouth.

re: the grail war being in the same city: No, it's not. You're in Mitakihara, Grail War is set in Fuyuki. They're near each-other though, and Shinji decided it would be a wonderful idea to hop on over and prana farm.

Thanks for clarifying. I know Look was worried about it being a spoiler answer, but I checked as it turns out....

[X] The Star - Kazumi Emiya

At the Fuyuki airport...

It's really just confirming what was already heavily implied.

I think that in general Assassin is pretty good, and I think Jack is a lot different than True Assassin/Old Man of the Mountain. She is definitely still a master targeting ambush fighter, but her skills make her more capable of evading an enemy servant long enough to get to the master. Assassin relies on the multiple bodies trick to distract people and move focus, but is a bit lacking in direct offensive power without over-concentrating bodies and becoming vulnerable to powerful large scale noble phantasms. Jack carries more power as an individual, but is more vulnerable to anti-personal attacks, as well as to trickery on the opposite side
I honestly thought that Assassin was poorly used in both the wars we see, but in part that may be due to him being handicapped by Kirei's alliance with Tohsaka in the fourth war, meaning he was supposed to mostly hide and play passively, until he got ordered into the shittiest situation ever against 3 incredibly powerful servants.
In the fifth I have am honestly still confused what Zouken was trying to do, all I know is he was a creepy man made of worms that needed to die yesterday. In fire.
TLDR: I think Assassin got shafted by his master in both wars we see, and should get a bit more credit. As a final thought, I think assassin's usefulness may depend more on the master's skills to a greater degree than another servants. But I've said to much, i'll theorize ore if people want, but or now i'll shut up.

There are actually 19 different Hassan-i-Sabbah's. Hundred face Assassin was actually only the Assassin of the Fourth Grail war. For the Fifth Zouken summoned a different Assassin with a different noble phantasm and a different strategy. Still fucked up though.

Dude, that's only one Assassin. Pretty much all the iterations of the Old Man In The Mountain have their own unique trick. Unfortunately unless you draw something like Assassin!Heracles (yes that is a thing), or get something like False Assassin, well....you're kinda lacking in raw power. They usually don't have much in the way of legends behind them.

Plus, the Knight class Servants tend to be preposterously bullshit. On top of Archer and Rider having Independent Action and persisting past the demise of their Masters. And as said, most Masters keep their Servants relatively close.

It's true that none of the Assassins were used to their full potential, for a variety of reasons, but there's not as much potential to draw out either.

[X] Transfer the command seals to yourself.
[x] Forget about him and check Oriko. And Sayaka too you guess.
I feel that these are the two most important things to do right now.
We strip Shinji of threat, and DON'T run off more than we need to while down an aarm and without support.
And we get Assassin. Best Servant Get!
Edit: FIxed.

Would you consider changing to my vote the only major difference is that after we take Assassins contract we use telepathy to order her to kill Shinji then we go check the others.

The Hassan of the second war was one of the last two standing in this 'verse, just so y'all know.
It's entirely possible to win with "the weakest class".

Ah, what the hell.

[x] Forget about him and check Oriko. And Sayaka too you guess.
[x] Transfer the Command seals to Sayaka.
-[x] "Rejoice Sayaka Miki, for you now have a chance to remove those pesky voices from your head! All you have to do is win a war between seven mages and the greatest heroes of humanity that they've summoned to do their bidding. Please do so, I don't want to lose my other arm. Oh, and have fun."

I thought that only Saber, Archer and Lancer were Knight Classes and Rider was one of the Calvary classes.

You're right about the Knight Classes, I didn't know Rider was one of a Calvary class.

The first statement was about the Knight Classes being bullshit, the second was about classes that survive the death of their Master.

Yeah, I sort of thought you meant that but the way you structured your sentences made it seem like the two ideas were connected. (I'm currently trying my best not to offer you advice on how to write better. I'm the son of an editor. Sue me.)

Also, yay someone voted for my vote. Vindication at last!

I really hope that this doesn't win.
