"I wasn't the one that shot down that chopper" You say. You don't know if you'll convince anyone. But you know that you have to say something. If only because you could. "I was stuck in the vault with a bleeding shoulder when the helicopter was shot down"
"So it was fucking Majaraja or whatever her name is" The cop aiming at the door says. "You still shouldn't have been there."
"Look son," The older cop says. "It was good you stopped that Garrick fellow. Guy needed someone to bring him down before he killed someone else. But there's a reason we don't shoot down helicopters in populated areas. Those things still have to have fuel in their tanks to go anywhere, and we can outlast 'em, wear 'em out till they run out of fuel. That way, they bad guys land, we bring 'em in on the ground, we still recover what they stole, and Joe Blow or hell if I know can go to work tomorrow because his car isn't fucked, or he isn't in the hospital getting shrapnel taken out of his ass."
You... really don't have anything to say to that. But then, since you aren't the one to bring down the chopper, you don't really have a need to defend doing so. "I know. I wasn't planning on jumping on the chopper. Best case scenario, the pilot gets killed and we all die, in addition to whoever was nearby where we crashed."
The officer keeps staring at the building, but he pauses for a moment. "Well, at least you have three brain cells in your head. That puts you ahead of half of the guys in costumes we have running around here. Just don't mess with that with a blow to the head. If you still wanna go ahead and try and draw 'em out, I'll let the Heavies know not to shoot at you."
You decide it's about as good as you're going to get and start walking to the building.
----------------------------------------
The loading gates are several feet off the ground, designed to let trucks back up into them and easily load or unload what was in them. They come up to around your waist. Honestly, you're pretty sure you could lift them. The gates are rusted with age. You use your sword as a crowbar to pry the gates ajar enough for you to open them. Granted, it's not something you want to do every day, but it does the job. The rusted locks of the gate groan, and you hear a metallic *snap*, and something metal hitting the concrete floor inside as you force the gate open an inch. You finish pushing the gate open and start to climb through. You use a hand to easily hold the gate open But as you climb up into the gap, the door suddenly slams down right onto your leg.
"Fuck!" You yell more in surprise than anything else.
That changes when a large security gate comes down behind the gate. You try pull your leg back into the warehouse before the gate slams shut, but the heavy steel gate slams on your ankle and keeps pressing down. You cry out in pain as you push yourself forward and lift the several inch thick security gate up just enough to pull your foot in. While this happened the steel door that Lussiac probably used to get in here slam closed with another similar security gate closes over it.
You scramble backwards and quickly climb to your feet. "Fuck fuck fuck!" You say as you ready your sword. What this a trap? This had to be a trap. You quickly summon a barrier around you just in case she started launching gas bombs, or a vent opened under you to gas you. But nothing came. Well if this was a trap, then it looks like this isn't where it's supposed to kill you.
As you stand ready, and while trying not to put too much weight on your foot, you can see some skylights on the ceiling, about 200 feet overhead. The skylights are covered in steel bars to prevent anyone from breaking in through the ceiling, but still let light through. The cloud cover has gotten worse, keeping most light from entering the warehouse, but you can still see a little.
Immediately to your left is a metal staircase leading to a walkway near the ceiling. It, and an identical staircase across the storage area leads to a pair of metal walkways that span the length of the warehouse. Near the back of the warehouse, you see some room, most likely offices, and you see a single office connected to an upper walkway.
On the far right side of a room, you see where this main warehouse area connects to the next "room" though there aren't any doors, just a 40 foot wide by 15 foot high gap in the concrete wall separating the two parts of the warehouse. Unfortunately, it's dark. Even with the skylight above that part of the warehouse, you can barely see anything from here.
[] Summon a fireball and keep it in your hand. You'll be able to see, but Lussiac will easily be able to on you if she's around. (Bonus to your Perception)
[] Don't I'm already clanging every time I walk. I don't need her to see me coming too.
[] Search the rooms near the warehouse floor.
[] Look at the office on the upper walkway
[] Look in the area to the right.
[] Try to pry the security doors open with your sword.
