Hiding From Unstable Spirits (Date a Live/Tsukihime)[SI](Spoilers)

I can't wait for Reine to confront Al. I keep getting the feeling that it would be like watching Harbinger (Mio) and Sovereign (Al) from the Mass Effect franchise arguing. With all the sheer bystander terror that entails. (And by bystanders I mean us the audience.) it might be exaggerated, but those are just the vibes I get from the idea.

Well I can't wait for old man Zel to randomly appear and want to have fun(troll) with his "new grandson" and make things more chaotic. Like in an interlude or omake.

I can't wait for him to drop the bomb that he is technically a white cell for the planet they are on.......wait a second now that i think about it.
Shouldn't Al be more powerful than Mio already? I mean his powers are a hard counter to Mio's.
Ain Soph Aur: imposing the concept of death, for organic lifeforms, and malfunction, for inorganic ones, into the light the bud generates. Marble Phantasms are also an extension of the will of the planet, if Al creates a field where conceptual weapons or magic/energy cannot be used by anyone but him, the world treats this as the only reality, which would shut down hard both Ain Soph Aur and Henet.

Ain Soph: basically is like a reality marble but on steroids, that being said, the will of the world trumps the will of a soul, so Mio shouldn't be able to deploy it within Al's Marble Phantasm.

Ain: ah Ain, the OP angel, the Angel of void, which is described as Mio's trump card. It can instantly illuminate the entire world with light before erasing whomever or whatever she desires from reality.
Once again, that only works if the will of the planet doesn't actively oppose you.

Let's face it, Mio is just a Divine Spirit with the ability to fool the world into doing what she wants it to do. That may be ironclad in the reverse side of the world of date a live, which is exactly what the spirit world actually is if we apply fate logic to the world of Date a Live, but the planet is alive, the leylines of that world are testament of that, and it may not had actively formed a consciousness before, but with a True Ancestor using his abilities like Al is? Gaia may end up forming in very little time, and with her comes the will of humanity of that world, which will end up being him taking the mantle im sure.

This is just speculation but makes sense, Mio is so powerful because she can nudge reality in any way she may want and is compared to a goddess, but as we all know, even gods cannot defy the will of the world, once Al deploys a Marble in which he dictates that Spirits cannot use their angels nor abilities it will be over for Mio no matter how much reiroku she expends, because the world asserts that, you would need the power of a Foreign God to go against the will of a world like Nyarlatothep and BB did.

Also, Mio is compared to a goddess, but there is something she doesn't really have, an Authority.
Authorities are basically the crowns of the gods, the sign that lets them reign over an aspect of creation, and those are normally obtained through human belief. Since Mio was born in secret from the concentration of Mana in a single point and using a magical formula its very possible that she would only rank as an artificial quasi-Divine Spirit and she would need more belief than just Wescott and a specific frame of her power in the minds of humans, again more than Wescott (seriously how the fuck can such an idiot get so powerful?), to develop authorities. With an Authority she would be able to trump any concepts inlayed in a marble phantasm that tried to seal away her authorities because they are recognized by the Will of humanity as true fact and thus Gaia to an extent, but since she doesnt have any.....

Well, remember that Al made contact with one Arcueid.
Now imagine the old pervert finding him and sending him into a room full of big sisters from other realities.

Technically yeah, but Al is currently still learning his limits and while the possibility of him starting the birth of DaL universe Gaia and Alaya he first needs to manifest the Millennium Castle and acquire the title of Brunestud( there is a chance that this Gaia would be formed with a more "human" first mindset instead of "extermiate the vermin" one).
Al could even possibly become an Ultimate One of that world, but he doesn't know that yet. And while he is a fan of the Fate series he doesn't know every detail on how the rules are supposed to work and he believes that Mio is the Ultimate One of the world because she was born of the planet's mana. Again, he's gonna need to have a talk with Arc to understand that Mio is someone that is a manageable threat and not certain doom.

I was about to ask if Al may end up as DaL's version of his sister Arcueid, she is technically Archetype Earth due to the Earth not being able to manifest an Aristotles, instead Type-Moon acts as the Aristotles of the Earth.
Welp if he ends up with the position of Type-Earth before the events of season 2 Wescott and co are sooooo fucked its not even funny.

Wow, i mean ok, im not much into other branches of fate. The timelines i follow are The 4th and 5th grail wars, with all the timelines or routes the 5th has, the Grand Order/Cosmos in the Lostbelt timeline and........a little of Apocrypha and Prisma Ilya (the lesbian lolis kissing had nothing to do with me liking that one).
Im not a Type-Moon fanatic that has watched every single damm thing that Nasu has written, though im trying to find the translations for the new continuity's light novel......the one in which is discovered Servants can actually have children.
Even so i have dabbled here and there. I discovered what the Aristotles were when i found a mention of ORT while surfing the Strange/Fake wiki page and decided to take a look.
For a planet to have a Type, the planet must have an awakened consciousness, and as seen with Type-Moon's Earth the planet may end up shooting blanks in that department.
They are the most powerful creature in a planet, a representation of the will of that planet. You need more than just a huge amount of mana being syphoned to a specific leyline and given form through a ritual, if anything Mio would be to an Aristotles what a homunculus is to a human.
I mean, i know that from a normal's perspective Mio is fucking terrifying, but from the perspective of a fate fan within the body of a True Ancestor, she is manageable, he should have known she didn't even have any authorities that would have given him trouble, because he knew about Mio and how she was considered a goddess.
So you tell me how can he mistake an artificial divine spirit/homunculus created by a buffoon with delusions of grandeur and a bit of magical talent, with an Ultimate One.
We all saw him materilize a recreation of Merlin's Garden of Avalon: The Forever-Sealed Utopia. That means Al was aware of Grand Order and let me tell you that there are a lot of spoilers in the GO fandom from all the other Type Moon properties. That includes UOs, and a lot of other material that comes explained into the lore of the game........ok i know im just going in circles for a bit, but it brokes my suspension of disbelief a bit you know? Sorry Caldon, i still like the story though, i know im just nitpicking

Also, great idea for Gaia to be more Humane, its funny because Gaia and Alaya back on fate world were once one and the same.

On to more happy matters, will we ever see Fou here? I really miss the little ball of fluffiness and murder

Yup, Al is being pretty stupid with his assumptions right now, but don't worry, Arc will chew him out for this.

Well...there is a chance that a trolling old vampire might decide to contact another troll and ask to borrow a pet.
Now imagine Al introducing Fou to everyone else by his other names like Primate Murder or saying that his other older sister has one too but hers is way bigger and eats humans.
and Prisma Ilya (the lesbian lolis kissing had nothing to do with me liking that one).
Of course, were all are here for the plot.
......the one in which is discovered Servants can actually have children.
Okay, I never heard of that one...oh god Chaldea is going to be in need of diapers.

Okay, I never heard of that one...oh god Chaldea is going to be in need of diapers.
Relax, 1 they need to have a human partner for that, it was in Fate/Requiem. The protagonist is Erice Utsumi, daughter of a man named Utsumi and his servant "Nami"........pretty much everyone knows that the real identity of nami was the Lancer Servant izanami.

Yup, Al is being pretty stupid with his assumptions right now, but don't worry, Arc will chew him out for this.
Sooner rather than later i hope?

huh...so far so good, frankly im almost amused enough to try my own hand...only as the Void Dragon from 40k (mostly for my amusement).

as it is, i look forward to big sister giving her little brother a smack-down and also many hugs...and of course eventually Gaia forming.

(of course if Gaia decides to Mom-It-Up...well...better hope this humanity is better at recycling, beause if not then Mom-planet will give out her equivelant of a spanking to the silly monkey's on her surface.)

What? Do you have a link or something to see it? I'm super curious now.
Edit: I read that is Requiem nevermind.

So the Amusement Park is on Fire. Neat.
Walking around with the girls and enjoying the water park was quite relaxing, especially after I assured them that Shido would be fine and there is no need to worry about him and Kotori(yet). That seemed to calm down Tohka quite a lot and she started to have fun, on the other hand, I still had to deal with an angry little sister shooting me glares all the time.

I think that Mana might not like me too much.

Yoshino, however, seemed a little clingy when it came to me and has most likely accepted my presence before anyone else which was quite reassuring.

And so far my little birds upon the ceiling were quietly watching over the whole place so I don't have to worry about Reine appearing out of nowhere and dragging me out for questioning.

"This is really fun, but I wish Shido was here with us." My musing was interrupted by a sighing Tohka.

"Tohka-san, you will have a chance to come back here with Shido when he isn't under pressure, you might even get him all for yourself." I tire to assure the girl with a smile and small wink which seemed to work as Tohkas eyes shined with...stars?

"Umu! Thanks, Al-san!" Answered Tohka.

...

Did she just...

"Umu?" I asked, an eyebrow raised, only then realizing that I spoke out aloud.

"Yeah, is something wrong?" Tohka tilted her head like an adorable and confused puppy.

"No, no. It merely reminded me of someone..." It reminded me of an overly theatric red-dressed Saber from Fate/Extra, but, I shouldn't be really bothered by it.
As long as she doesn't start to randomly call Shido her "Praetor" that is.

POKE

I felt a gentle and soft poke at my cheek that dragged me back into reality, and when I looked towards the small perpetrator that was Yoshinon with a smiling Yoshino.

"Oh! You're back onii-chan!" Said the offending puppet with a smug grin.

"Yes, sorry for that, was lost in thought for a moment there. Thank you two." I said with a small smile on my face and scratching my other cheek a little.

We just dismounted the little boat that was used for the 'Jungle Cruise' which was interesting but not world-shattering. We were sitting in the back and at the start, I was situated between Tohka and Yoshino but Mana for some reason decided to switch places with the purple-haired girl and sat next to me for the whole ride.

All the while giving me a glare that promised a swift death if I were to give her any reason for it, and I personally find it rather cute how she thinks that she can hurt me.

Now, however, Tohka had run off when she noticed a man selling ice cream with an eager Yoshino not far behind leaving me alone with Mana.

"Sooooo..."I looked at the short girl standing to my right as I tried to start a conversation. "You've got your battle gear with you?"

Mana just turned her head towards me, eyes locking with me, and gave a look that said "Are you seriously asking this now?" to which I simply responded with a smile.

"Why would you need to know that now? Are you planning something?" She asked with venom in her words, body tense, and ready for battle.

Oh boy, I walked right into that, didn't I?

"How mean of you Mana-san, why would I plan anything?" I proclaimed and turned around pretending to have been hurt by her accusation, but then I swiftly turned back my expression serious enough to freeze Mana." Now Mana-san, do you know a silly young girl named Tobiichi Origami?"

Brown eyes went wide at the mention of that name but that was short-lived as they narrowed even quicker.

"Yes, I meet her and I presume you know that she is in the AST, but why do yo-"

"Did you know that she lost her parents five years ago in the fight that two Spirits had there?" I cut her off and judging by the scowl she did not like that.

"So what are you saying is that Kotori might have been responsible for it?" She asked me, her tone softer and slow.

"No. I already told Shido and Kotori that the latter was not responsible for anything that day, but...Origami might have remembered the event differently and most likely believe that the Spirit Ifrit is responsible for it."

Especially after she saw her on the rooftop and I almost forgot about that part of the story. Still, from her position, she didn't see too much of Kotori and will recognize the Spirit from a recording that the AST got their hands on.

"So, you think that Origami would try and make a move against Kotori?" Good deduction Mana.

"Yes, but that would be suicidal for her unless well I don't know...the AST got some new weapon or something from the DEM that she could steal and try to murder Kotori with it. " I said nonchalantly as I noticed that Mana's face was making quite the curious expression. "But what are the chances of that happening, right Mana-san?"

Now the girl's face was pale and I could see a few drops of cold sweat forming on her forehead.

And then I heard it.

It was muffled, almost indistinguishable from the crowd of people that were walking around us. I was sure that no human would have heard that one single sound.

Boom.

It came from the direction of the amusement park, and it seems that Mana noticed the change of my playful expression into a frown.

"Tell the girls that Shido is in trouble and then try to join as quickly as you can. " I said to the blue-haired girl in a serious voice that left no place for argument but she still opened her mouth. " Do it or I will make you!"

The sudden rise of my voice(or the conscious flash of yellow in my eyes) seems to do the job as Mana reluctantly rushes towards the two girls that went on ahead of us.

As Mana departed my company I noticed that Qrow was flying towards me with...my fedora in her claws?

Clever girl.

Now with a hat firm on my head( and a small bird receiving some petting on its beek), I ready myself to run towards the amusement park.

I remember the feeling of pain I felt when Kurumi's clones shredded my body.

I remember the anger and the joy of tearing them apart with my claws.

Now I feel the same strength flowing through my body but I'm not repeating the same mistake I made in the rooftop of the school.

I draw all the surrounding magical energy from around and into myself and sense its raw power. I could reach much, much deeper, and into the magical energy of the planet itself.

But not today, not now.

Kurumi couldn't do anything against me when I was toying with her so what chances does Origami have? And so I focus on my legs to jump above the crowd of people instead of running between them.

My body ready I brace myself and...launch off the ground with enough strength to crack the floor I was standing on and fly right through the glass ceiling in the park's direction.

Then I hear more explosions that are much louder than the one before mixed with the screams of fear of the civilians and... I can actually see Kotori and Origami duking it out!

...wait, how can I see them already?

I then look down on the ground below me and internally scream on how high and fast I have jumped...I'm a good 100 meters above the ground and flying towards the park at high speed.

...

Is it too late to learn what a landing strategy is?

------------------------------------------------

Shido's PoV

DAMN IT ALL!

He was just about to seal Kotori after all the fun they had here, but just before he gathered the courage to ask Kotori if he can kiss her she was blasted away by Origami!

"PLEASE! STOP THIS!" He shouted at the girls that were currently flying above him and were locked in combat.

And while he knew that Kotori was strong he was still worried that she might get hurt or worse lose control over herself and her powers.

Then there was Origami who was geared with some weaponry that size Shido could compare to a car. A car that attached to someone's back and is armed with cannons and rockets.

Now once again he is unable to do anything while others fight.

If only Origami would have stopped and listened to him! Al said that Kotori was innocent in the incident five from five years ago, Kotori did absolutely nothing to harm anyone!

"Origami! Please just listen to me! Kotori didn-"

"-ine!"

Shido's stoped his pleas when he heard a...voice? He looked around for the source of it but saw no one who could be responsible for it, all civilians have evacuated after all.

"-INE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!"

Again he heard it but saw no one and then he looked up to the sky and at Kotori and Origami who seemingly didn't hear it or ignored it completely.

And then he saw it, just above Origami coming at his speed was an object that swiftly slammed on top of the white-haired girl throwing her to the ground.

"Mine."

...

Shido was just standing there, looking at the young man that wore black swimming shorts and a red fedora and was standing atop of the gear that Origami brought to battle. Even Kotori was just...flying up there, her jaw slacked open and eye twitching.

As Shido looked towards Al, he no longer saw the joyful and mischievous young man.

No, what he saw was a predator ready to tear into his pray.

And Shido began to feel sorry for Origami.

------------------------------------------------

"Mine." Was all I said when all turbulence stopped and I freed my claw from the back of the machinery that Origami was using.

Good news, I found that landing on a girl softens a fall from the air at high speed.

Bad news, I didn't land on a black-haired twin-tailed tsundere.

As I looked ahead of I saw both Shido and Kotori standing there and giving me odd looks, almost like I've grown a second head or something.

"Ughh..." I heard a groan coming from below me and...oh right, Origami.

I jumped down from the back and in front of the white-haired girl, her eyes widening in shock and anger at the revelation of her sudden attacker.

I simply grinned at the silly girl in front of me.

"Y-You! H-Ho- No! Get out of my way!" She screamed at me as she began to rise from her knees.

"Hmm, how about...no?" I replied in a mock tone which she clearly didn't like.

"Deploy Territo-"

She didn't even get to finish her command as I impaled my claws into the side of her canon and mustering as much strength as I could, I lifted her up from the ground and threw her a good few dozen meters away into the nearest tree line.

And as I saw her crash and break numerous tree until she was out of my eyesight I went into full-blown laughter.

This girl! Thinking she can take on me?! Hah! Such pathetic little-

"Origami!" Shouted Shido from behind me and I just rolled my eyes.
Party pooper.

"Now then, Shido-san, I'm not going to hurt Origami...too much." I said when getting closer to the boy and actually grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. "Now, you have a little sister to smooch."

And I threw him towards Kotori that was still flying above us confused at what is happening right now.

And I might have laughed a bit more when I saw Kotori try and catch Shido mid-air only for the both of them ended flying to the ground behind a bench.

And as amusing as that was, I still had to slow down Origami so I turned toward the direction I've thrown her.

The ground cracks and breaks under the strength I was putting in my legs as I maneuvered between the trees and ended up on the other side of the treeline before I knew it and was in the clear.

Only to be greeted by a green hexagon barrier that enclosed me with only a small hole open in it. Huh, wonder why did she do th- OH CRAP!

BOOM!

An explosion filled the inside of the barrier blasting me both with the shockwave and shrapnel of the missiles Origami launched at the opening.

AND IT GOD DAMN HURT!

"Do not...get in...my way!" Shouted Origami out between haggard breaths as using the new gear started to take a toll on her.

"You know," I said as I walked out from the smoke and flames without a scratch on me to be seen and dust off the dirt of my hat, much to the girl's despair. "there is a reason for Kurumi being utterly terrified of me."

"W-What are you?" Now I could see the fear in the girl's eyes as she slowly began to realize that there isn't much she can do to me.

"Tobiichi Origami! Stop this instance and surrender!" It was Mana geared up in her usual AST gear that interrupted us.

And behind her was Tohka who partially manifest her Astral Dress, but was still mostly wearing her purple bikini but her arms and legs were armored in purple steel and cloth.

Yoshino was riding a horse-sized white rabbit with sharp teeth and red eyes.

"And here I thought I'm going to have all the fun for myself," I sighed and looked at the three girls that decided to play the role of the cavalry. "besides, are you girls sure you can exert yourselves like that?"

"Umu! And Shido told us to help you so we're here!" Stated Tohka with a smile on her lips.

Heh, so they do care about me, good to know.

"I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS! OUT OF MY WAY!" Origami yelled out and her will to fight seemed to actually harden itself in spite of the odds.

Origami shots out a green beam out of her canons that were directed at Mana who dodged it with ease and moved into close counter combat with her energy blade.

The girl responder with a blade of her own that took the form of a long wrist-mounted energy blade and actually stood her ground against Mana's onslaught.

That is until Tohka joined in and send the white-haired girl sprawling to the ground but not before she realized a barrage of missiles, some of which hit Tohka.

"Aaaaaaaaaa!" Tohka screamed in pain as the projectiles connected with her and send her flying in the opposite direction.

And that...that made me Mad.

"ORIGAMI!" I yelled out towards the girl that was now standing on the ground, her weapons directed at me and she was visibly shocked at my outburst.

"So your parents died? How sad! Truly, this justified everything right?!" I stepped closer in her direction, bloodlust surging within me as pink petals began surrounding my frame.

"You! And what do you know?!" She yelled back at me her cannons reading to fire.

"Oh what I know? I know that you shot a nice round hole through Shido on his date with Tohka! I know that you stole that stuff to kill his younger sister believing she was the one responsible for your parent's death! And you didn't even bother to confirm it!" She flinched at her resolve was wavering for a moment before she gave in to her anger.

"SHUT UP!" She fired both of her canons at me in desperation and rage.

But I didn't care. Even as the beams tore through my stomach and severed my arm(AGAIN!?) I just pushed onwards towards her.

And from the gasp that came from Origami, she didn't expect it to work on me this time, unaware that it was nothing I couldn't recover from for her weapons simply lacked any 'concept' that could slow me down.

"Silly, you can't kill me..." I said quietly and took in a breath of air,

"And I'm done playing with you."

"Scatter, Senbonzakura. " I whispered and thousands of cherry blossom petals flew around me.

Unlike the flowers from my "Garden of Avalon," those petals are strong and sharp like a blade, for if I can turn my surroundings into a knock off utopia what stops me from changing how some cheery blossoms petals should work?

I looked around and noticed that Yoshino was scared, but was it because of my wounds or the fact that I kept my smile on all this time? So as my wounds close and my arm returns to its place I give the small girl a smile and a thumbs up which seems to calm her down.

I then turn to a shocked Origami and order the petals to flow at her and thousands of small blades fly towards the girl, alas before they manage to hit her she covers herself in that barrier she trapped me in earlier.

But it didn't matter, the countless petals slammed into the girl's barrier again and again and again. I saw the sweat pouring down Origami's face, her white hair soaked, breath haggard, and she was now on her knees.

The pink flood slammed into the barrier one last time, shattering it to pieces. They fly towards Origami but stop at her throat, a clear sign that I have her beaten now, and she knows it.

I take one last look around me noticing Mana who was hovering above us with a conflicted expression, Yoshino was a few meters to my right and she looked tired, most likely the result of the use of her powers that are still sealed in Shido.

But...where did Tohka go? I don't see her anywhere so maybe she got thrown towards Shido?
Eh, questions for later.

"Now, Origami-chan, are you ready for a history lesson?" I said to the immobilized girl in a mocking tone and proceed to move close to her and crouched so our faces were on the somewhat same height and poked her in the cheek.

"A-Are you mocking me?!" She still managed to yell at me even in this state which I honestly find impressing. But since she gave me the chance here...

"Oh, no no no no no " I replied quickly with a joking tone. "Pffft, yeah."

Then I snapped my finger on her forehead and made a 'shush' gesture.

"Now, do not interrupt me young lady or you'll see what happens if you do. " Her eyes went wide in fear and I swear I could feel Mana's disproving glare burning a hole in the back of my head. "Five years ago two rather silly Spirits decided to duke it out in a civilian area but not before a little crybaby stopped being human. The crybaby was surrounded by flames and cried out for her big brother for help, all the while the battle raged above them."

Origami is a smart girl(despite that stupid stunt she pulled off now and will most likely try to do in the future) and I saw the gears turning in her head as she tried to understand what I'm alluding to.

"N-No...youre lying, i-it must have been Ifrit..." Origami was now in denial because otherwise, it would mean that she had to admit that she was in the wrong here."

"Al-san is not lying Origami, because I remember some of the event and the Spirit that killed your parents wasn't Ifrit!" Shouted a voice from behind me so I turned my head and saw Shido walking towards us with a naked Kotori in his arms and Tohka to his left.

"Took your sweet time Shido-san, and you could have at least gave her your shirt or something." I pointed a finger toward the sleeping Kotori and that turned Shido's whole face into a nice shade of red.

"I-I... it's not l-like th- Origami, stop!" Shido's stuttering was abruptly cut as he held Kotori closer to his chest and Tohka jumped in front of him with her huge broadsword raised.

I turned my head back around and saw Origami holding a pistol that was aimed at Kotori, and I sighed heavily.

"Origami, give me your gun. " My eyes made contact with hers and the girl obliged my demand and the moment she did that her control returned and she looked even more confused than before. "No interruptions Origami, remember?"

Shido gave a breath of relief and so did Tohka and Yoshino while Mana was still tense in the sky above before she decided to descend and join Shido's side. And hey, I got a gun!
How do I turn on the safety on it?

"Tobichii Origami, please stop this, there is no point in continuing this, do you really want for Shido to feel what you felt when you lost your parents?" Tohka begged the now disarmed girl that was slowly losing the focus in her eyes.

"Take a quick nap girl, I'll find and talk to you later too." I directed my words towards Origami who's determination finally faltered and she passed out from the use of that prototype weapon.

"So, what will you do no-" I turned around as I spoke and saw that the girls and Shido were surrounded by a bright colorful light, and after a moment they were all gone. "Alright, that was rude."

And now, I'm standing in a burning amusement park with an unconscious girl next to me...overall pretty good day, I wonder when they will repair it?

At least the day can't get any wors-

"Watch your fire! Origami is down there!" A yell from the sky cuts my thoughts off.

I look up and see a whole squad of AST girls, their weapons aimed at me ready to unleash hell upon the park again.

...

I deserved it but I ain't dealing with this, so I snap my fingers and disappear from the AST's vision and sensors, though I admit that hearing the confused screams of the girls above is quite enjoyable, but why are they all girls?

Questions without answers.

Now, to get my clothes back and look for Kurumi tonight.

Simple, right?

XXXXXXXXXX

So, a quick question. Should I write an Interlude that will be connected to the next chapter or first the chapter and then the Interlude?
Also, yeah. Stealing stuff from Bleach now, hope that the emo Captin won't mind. Merlin, on the other hand, might just mind the fact that someone is copying him.
And what did you think about the characters and their interactions?

Sure, do the interlude chapter. Next time when he fights the AST he can even channel his inner Android 17 and use the "if you can tell me in one sentence why you thought that this was a good idea, I might just let you go. *captive chocking in his chokehold*
"yeah see, I don't get it either." Line from TFS.

To be honest, I'm rather hyped for the interlude chapter, we may finally get some insight into the maelstrom that is Mio's mind during these "unpredictable" times. See how Isaac "totally not evil" Westcott deals with the existence of Al. The AST being briefed on his existence and dealing with the fact that there's a being that utterly terrifies Kurumi. That chapter will be sweet.

Those Interludes will eventually come too, but the next one will be from the PoV of another Nasuverse character that might send the SI a...let's call it a 'gift', though what he sends will be revealed in the chapter that comes after the Interlude.

"Now then, Shido-san, I'm not going to hurt Origami...too much."
The ground cracks and breaks under the strength I was putting in my legs as I maneuvered (ya do love yer past tense dude, I think ya nees to erase dis part)
"Silly, you can't kill me..." I said quietly and took in a breath of air,

"And I'm done playing with you."
Origami was now in denial because otherwise, it would mean that she had to admit that she was in the wrong here." (Accidental quotation mark)
"Al-san is not lying Origami, I because I remember some of the event and the Spirit that killed your parents wasn't Ifrit!" (erase the I)

Bad news, I didn't land on a black-haired twin-tailed tsundere.
Is this Rin being implied?
Those Interludes will eventually come too, but the next one will be from the PoV of another Nasuverse character that might send the SI a...let's call it a 'gift', though what he sends will be revealed in the chapter that comes after the Interlude.
Then I think the interlude would be interesting to be first.... tho, given the 'he', it seems DaL might get invaded by a different theme of magical gals.

Yup, but that could also apply to Noire from HDN.
Then I think it's Rin, I can only think of her and possibly her doing a surprise drop kick on someone like that.
Pretty close, but nope. Unless in an Omake. The magical girl part that is.
I can only think a few number of male characters(or who don't give a frak of their sexuality) that has the ability to travel into another world safetly and most of 'em are either super busy with a very important goal or trapped in a prison they can't truly escape.

Interlude : Kaleidoscope
An elderly man is sitting on a large throne-like chair inside an empty black space.

The man's pale face is stern, his beard and hair are like ash, and his red eyes shine with wisdom that tells that the old man lived longer and saw more than any human should.

Because the truth is that he is no longer human.

He was dressed in a black gentleman garb that was a century or two behind with a long dark cape gracing his shoulders with a gold chain hanging across his chest that connected it.

The man's eyes went from looking through the endless dark void to his lap, were there laid the reason for his current search. A letter from his adopted granddaughter, who claimed that she had received a gift from a new 'sibling' and asked her grandfather to look out for him until they meet with each other.

This should not be hard to do, after all, he didn't acquire such titles like the Wizard Marshall, Old Man of the Jewels, or Kaleidoscope without a good reason.

Yes, this man is Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg, the user of the Second Magic the "Kaleidoscope".

So then, why is there a frown on his face?

Zelretch knew that Arcueid wouldn't lie to him about such things, so then why couldn't he find this new True Ancestor that she was speaking of? Her letter held such sincerity and joy in it that he was sure that his granddaughter spoke the truth, but why couldn't he find them then?

Arcueid and Altrouge were the last True Ancestors alive and the old man was sure that neither of the two was involved with this, so his mind immediately went to Gaia but then again, why would the planet suddenly decide to create a new True Ancestor and one that could possibly be a Prince or another Princess?

And to top it off, Zelretch couldn't find them in this world or the countless parrel worlds he observed, almost as if they didn't exist in them in the first place.

That simply didn't make any sense to the centuries-old vampire.

Unless...

The vampire changed his plans and instead of looking for a young True Ancestor, he looked for any anomalies in the world of his granddaughter. And after what seemed like an eternity he finally found it, a hole in the fabric of reality too small it looked as if someone used a needle on it.

He focused on the tiny opening at tried to peer through it, which surprisingly took more effort than he thought it would. Almost as if something or someone was resisting him, but it didn't matter for he was the master of the Second Magic.

The opening was slightly widened and when he saw what was beyond it he barely could contain his excitement.

Worlds without Gaia or Alaya that were still rich with magical energy, countless timelines, and beings that wielding powers that could almost match a Heroic Spirit or reached into the range of True Magic.

And so many of them seemed to congregate around a young boy that reminded Zelretch of a rather unlucky red-haired idealist.

When the Magician finally found the right timeline in which the one he sought simply 'appeared' out of nothing, he couldn't stop his chuckle when the young Ancestor screamed Zelretch's name and blamed him for his situation. And went into full-blown laughter when the youngling found the girl named Kurumi and introduced himself as a Counter Guardian with the name of Alaya!

As hilarious as it was, it meant that the boy had knowledge that he didn't expect, be it about his world or the one he found himself as he noted his rather paranoid behavior and comical attempts at magecraft.

That explained the gift Arcuied received, the boy didn't even realize how his own powers worked which was quite confusing, but when he used them the effects were rather humorous.

The longer Zelretch observed the young Ancestor or 'Al' as he asked to be called, the more interesting he seemed to become(if only for his odd behavior compared to a normal True Ancestor).

Then the old man's eyes widened in excitement as he watched Al as he...created a rip off Avalon on a school's rooftop.

And Zelretch gave a smile that most people would be terrified of, then he created an old phone next to him and dialed a number.

Even though Zelretch could see the past and present without a problem, the future was foggy, as if someone was blocking him from viewing it.
But that didn't mean he couldn't 'help out' his newest grandson that he already adopted in his mind.

"Hello?" The voice of a young man on the other side of the call asked.

"Hello, Merlin! Say, could I 'borrow' something from you and gift it to my newest grandson? I'm, sure he will appreciate some company...
