Hiding From Unstable Spirits (Date a Live/Tsukihime)[SI](Spoilers)

Ok, I just want to know which version of EMYAS did you choose?
Archer or Alter?

Well that was interesting? While I love genderbent stories, somehow a part of me just screeches of a genderbent EMIYA... Must had been his GARcher aura. Though I fear he would start a bloody path starting with Kurumi here...

Also some TYPO's:
I should ask out Haruka to hang out together sometime.
I yelped as I felt a scorching heat close to my left hand.
Phantasmal Species thought long gone preying on the innocent
The deal with The World to save a mere hundred lives
I don't know if I remember correctly but was it around 300 people who was going to die on that factory/reactor?
like a mere moment as there was some kind of request
Counter Force demanded to be killed so that humanity would continue to exist.
A girl emerged from the shadows and looked at me with surprise.
a flintlock pistol and a musket each in her hands.
I'm not sure how Kurumi holds her firearms so I am not sure on this part... my DaL knowledge is spotty at best.
Welcome to The EMIYA Show, I hope you brought a light because you won't find any of that here.
Don't worry fire is just vibrating atoms that warms us and burns people.

Don't worry too much, the SI is the only one who's getting genderbent here depending on the Servant.
If the servant is male then the SI is called Shirou and is Shido's/Shinji's younger twin brother.
If the servant I planned to use is female then the SI is named Shiori and is a younger twin sister.
Though I fear he would start a bloody path starting with Kurumi here...
Yes, because Kurumi is one of the Spirit's that's more of an annoyance than an actual danger thanks to her Angel possessing the power over time and her absurd amount of clones(Then again, Kurumi is a rather smart person that values her life quite high thanks to her desire to kill the First Spirit). The one that SI!EMIYA would consider a real danger would be Tohka, specifically if she inversed.
I don't know if I remember correctly but was it around 300 people who was going to die on that factory/reactor?
Huh, when I checked I was sure it was 100 people, at least according to the wiki.

Does anyone know any other fanfic where the protagonist is a true ancestor? (I'm sorry if I made some grammatical mistakes, I don't speak English and I'm using the Google translator.)
There was Worm's Last Ancestor in SB as the SI using a CYOA alongside being Arcuied in Worm's Golden Age of Heroes. Sadly it seems to have no updates for a long time nao.

How about just let the GACHA decide? I mean rolling ten Servants then roll those ten into three till you get to one might be nice lol.

Ah, but if Kurumi chooses to use 'that' to the SI because he went ballistic on Shido lol... then again seeing that he can only recognizes name, threat and ability it will be a very sad day on Shido if he does not recognise him.

My memory is spotty at best so I am really not sure, it's been a long time ya know. Though, I guarantee that it was by the hundreds that was going to be get killed on that fall out.

Alao take what every you read in the wiki with a grain of salt, cause some are just confusing stuff if what I heard the rumors are true.

Wait. I can't believe that I just noticed, between his eyes and his dress-wear Al almost sounds like the unholy combination of Alucard abridged's behavior and Muzan Kibutsuji's fashion sense.

I Am The Captain Now
I want to first start out with an apology for delaying a new chapter for THIS long without notice, as I was busy with trying to finish a course I started while trying to write Al in a somewhat believable way...
Anyway, the next chapter will hopefully finish the Yamai arc and have a satisfying combat bit.

Why is this damn airship so high up!?

I mean seriously come on! That's like at least 10-15 kilometers above sea level, why are they hiding themselves this high up if they can just turn on their camouflage and become invisible to the human eye and most radars too?

Even with the wind blowing me up towards it still will take make like... a minute or two? Then again, it is rather hard to judge this distance when I'm speeding at such velocity with the power of the wind.

Though I should be grateful for my own durability and that I can direct the gale in such a way that it doesn't tear me into shreds... come to think of it, I could actually weaponize that in the future, but only if Kotori won't chew me out for this.

As adorable as she is when the little girl is angry and thinks that she can bend me to her whims like poor Shido, she simply lacks the means to pressure me, be that by physical action or even blackmail.

Still, too much destruction on my part could bring trouble to her from the higher-ups of Ratatoskr, the girl has enough to deal with as it is.

And anywa-

Why is that huge red DEM airship fully visible now? And what's up with this incredibly bright blue glowing from the front of it that seeping so much magical energy I can feel it even from so far away?

Huh, they even deployed a shield that covers the whole damn thing, not unlike the prototype Realizer that Origami has stolen to try and murder Kotori with.

I grinned because I was fully confident that my claws would be able to tear a hole into it, especially with the speed I'm going at.

But now that I have a good look at it, man, someone needs to fire the architect who drew the blueprints for this thing. It is absolutely hideous!

I mean, it's absurdly long and slim, but why does it have two pairs of 'wings' on the sides and a pair that's pointed downward? Not to mention that weird circle on its tail that's connecting three of those 'wings' and three oddly long engines on it? At least I think that those are the engines...

So I focused myself on the abhorrent airship that was getting ever so closer and I readied my claws to tear into the green barrier that was surrounding it.

Then its main cannon that was located at the front of the ship fired and a beam of bright light cut across the darkness of the night and hit something in the distance, where for a moment I saw... a giant magical circle filled with runes that I did not recognize.

Then again, I do not remember ever reading up anything about runes so I wouldn't recognize them anyway,

Oh, and it was the Fraxinus that just got hit.

...

Eh, the blondie vice-commander can handle himself, I'm sure of that.

But, now...

My right arm stretched toward the shield with the intent to use my momentum to pierce through the defenses in one strike and continue towards the airship.

The moment my claws connected with the green hexagonal-patterned shield, I slowed down to a crawl and felt it resisting me at first but then it gave in and shattered... around the whole damn ship.

... Whoops?

I didn't have much time to wonder what I did because I swiftly crashed into the flying metal giant, and only a quick use of my claws to tear open a hole allowed me not to splat myself on the thing.

Now, thanks to that, I'm in...

"A spooky dark corridor... damn it, Isaac, how hard are you trying to show everyone that you're the BBEG of this world?" I whispered in annoyance as I was looking around.

Also, those red lights and the constant alarm rinning all around me are quite annoying.

Oh, and I'm also holding myself in place with my claws entrenched into the wall so I don't get sucked out via the hole I just made, but now... The bridge was to the right, I guess? I mean, that was the direction that they were facing when using that canon of theirs, so logically, the bridge must be in that direction as well.

With little choice, I steadily made my way towards the steel doors and notice a console on the wall on the side, which I promptly ignored in the favor of piercing the dark and metallic doors with my claws embedding deeply in them before I ripped them open.

Fun fact, steel can't really stop a True Ancestor, especially one that's using Reinforcement magecraft to counterbalance being stuck in a metal bird so high up.

Anyway, the moment an opening wide enough for me was formed I stepped through it and quickly closed it behind me. Or well, at least I tried to because shaping back metal into its old form after what I did was quite the useless endeavor, but I managed to somewhat shut it close and stop the pressure difference.

Alas, all that I was rewarded with after that was... more corridors.

I am honestly debating on trying to use Structural Analysis on this whole damn thing, the headache I would be having from casting it be damned.

I move forward towards the next closed door but I notice that... I'm in the middle of a crossroad? I look to my left and right seeing the same black doors that are in front of me, but which one shoul-

DING!

"Elevators?" My eyes darted in surprise between all the three doors that slide open and from them emerged a few people dressed in black and wielding handguns that I've never seen before.

Then again, I don't recollect owning such things in the past, but I do remember some weapons from video games.

... I need to check if they have Battlefield in this world.

"Freeze!" A shout from a man standing in front of me with his gun pointed at my head caught my attention.

I of course ignored him and put my hands into the pockets of my coat while also looking at the people surrounding me.

I'm surrounded by ten people, three to my sides, and four in front of me. I notice that all of them wear a simple dark military uniform, except the one in front that has a dark beret on his head, and surprisingly they do not seem to wear any body armor, most likely thanks to my sudden arrival and judging by their facial features I can guess that they are all of the European descent.

Probably British too.

"Sure, then what?" I smirk at the group as I reply casually.

My dismissal of the group made most of the men tense, but the reaction of the one in charge made it hard for me to keep my poker face on, as the man in question was visibly shaking from anger and glaring daggers at me.

"ON. YOUR. KNEES!" The wannabe soldier almost growled when shouting orders at me.

Wait, did he just... My smirk turned into a full-blown smile as I locked my eyes with the man.

"I'm not your mother last nig-"

BANG!

...

"Tsk, really?" I questioned with a growing annoyance directed at the guy who just shot me. "I had a moment here damn it!"

All the people surrounding me flinched back at the tone of my voice... or the fact that a bullet just ricocheted off my head and into a wall.

"W-Who are you?" Questioned in a stuttering voice someone from my left.

Seeing and sensing the terror of the poor souls around I couldn't help but feel some kind of joy at that.

"You know." I smirked again at them. "A real fuc-"

BANG! BANG! BANG!

...

"GAAAH!" A shout of pain came from one of them, and when I turned my head to the left I saw a man clutching his right leg and lying bleeding on the cold floor.

"Nevermind then, war it is." I proclaimed as I moved my hands towards the nearest man on my right.

Like seriously, I believe that I was generous enough with them and they respond by trying to shoot at me more?

"S-Sir, what shou-" The young man nearest to me on my right side didn't manage to finish his sentence as a backhanded slap send him flying towards the elevator.

Once he hit the steel doors I heard a wet splat and noticed that the man was lying motionless on the floor, after that, I redirected my attention to the remaining DEM members.

"Eight more to go." I whispered in a cold tone.

Then, everyone panicked.

"O-Open fire!" The officer yelled out in horror.

I quickly covered my eyes with my right arm as a hail of bullets began hitting my body and harmlessly bouncing away, with an occasional ricochet hitting the walls.

And like that, I've waited for the moment...

CLICK! CLICK! CLICK!

... They run out of ammo.

" Gentelmen~." I lowered my arm and smiled when I saw the terrified looks that the discount stormtroopers gave. "I promised a war, didn't I?"

I didn't wait for a response as I leaped towards the pair that was standing on my right and grabbed them both by their throats lifting them up before swiftly slamming them on the ground with force.

They grunted and coughed, and I think I heard something break from the force of the impact, but they did not try to get up.

Of course, the ones behind me yelled in surprise as they watched their comrades being handled like ragdolls by a ridiculously dressed man in black and red.

I looked back at them as they finished reloading their guns and began to fire at me, only for their despair to grow as the bullets once again bounced off me harmlessly.

"Six left, and still counting down~."

The remaining six people formed a line in the corridor, with the officer in the back as they aimed at me with their hands visibly shaking.

Alas, as fun as this is for me, I really do not have the time for dealing with them so I should finish this quickly and aim for the bridge.

The few meters that were between me and them were closed in an instant as my hands now turned claws slashed at the arms of the guards in front of me, and screams of pain filled the red-lit corridor.

I won't deny that I felt an odd satisfaction when my claws cut the flesh of the first man that was followed by slashing at the non-vital areas of the rest that were left standing and trying to fight me off by any means.

As I still had enough self-control to only maim them and ignore all the blood that was spilling on the floor, and of course, they put up some resistance but being unable to harm me made this whole ordeal end pretty quickly and all five of them were now lying, bleeding and screaming.

Overall, successful suppression of the enemy with minimal cas-

"O-OH GOD! I c-can't... I CAN'T FEEL MY ARM!" The scream of one of the downed guards caused me to wince.

...

Welp, that is the report I'm going to give Kotori if she asks for it in any case.

"Wait a moment..." I said in sudden realization as my eyes shot wide open. "Where is the beret guy?"

DING!

My eyes darted towards the source of the sound and...

"N-NO, damn it, damn it, damn it, close already!" The DEM officer in question yelled in anger as he pushed a button in the elevator.

Huh, did he crawl on the floor while I was busy with the others or something? I didn't expect much from the DEM personnel but this is a low that was unexpected by anyone that isn't Isaac.

With a sigh, I turned my claws back into normal hands and pulled a gun out of the inner pocket of my cloak, then I slowly made my way towards the elevator that began to close its doors.

When I look at the hat-wearing DEM officer, I noticed that his expression of pure terror and shock turned into one of relief when the doors were about to shut.

I hurried in my step and was just an arms reach away from the elevator when it's still doors shot close before me, and I could swear that I heard laughter from behind them.

Yeah, no.

My left hand lunged forward and turned once again into a sharp claw, embedding itself deeply in the steel frame, and with my strength, it was swiftly opened again, much to the terror of the elevator occupant.

"H-How?! What... what are you damn it!" He shouted at me as he backed away and hugged the wall with his back as if his life depended on it.

"Oh, now you're letting me talk?" I step into the elevator and stand in front of the shaking man. "Bit too late on that, also, I have my own two little questions for you."

I leaned forward and was towering over the trigger happy officer who was shrinking from my presence.

"First... which way towards the bridge?" I asked in a sweet tone eerily similar to that of Kurumi when she's annoyed.

"Second..." The barrel of the pistol I held in my right hand found its way under his chin. "How's your health plan?"

----

"This tune is seriously irritating." I impatiently tapped my foot and scratched the side of my head with the gun. "Like, why did you guys choose something this bad?"

"I-I... p-please do-" The officer that's currently on his knees and has his neck held in my left-hand whimpers.

I also think that he pissed himself.

"Tsk, so much for a conversation." I ignored the rambling officer in favor of staring at the doors.

Still, good old Reggie here was quite helpful in finding the right way towards the bridge of the 'Arbatel', especially after I subjected him to my enchanting eyes... shame that I overdid it a little and maybe broke the guy just a bit.

Anyway, I should arrive at the bridge proper in 3... 2... 1...

DING!

I watch as the doors slide open and reveal...

"DON'T MOVE!"

... Four members of the DEM personnel aiming their pistols at me.

Surprisingly, they are not dressed the same way the guards were as the people in front of me wear brown suits and are all men in at least their late forties.

Beyond them, I can see how relatively small the bridge room is, to the point where maybe twenty people or so would fit here at once. This is thanks to the bulky consoles placed around, giving it a dark and gloomy vibe, totally unlike the Fraxinus is.

"Beg your pardon?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

Don't they have cameras on the ship here? They should have seen how those things went for their security team, and they still chose to try and wait for me with their weapons drawn?

...

Such... arrogant fools.

"You heard it right, now surrender immediately or die. I have a battle to win." A prideful and deep voice proclaimed from behind the men and my eyes locked on to him.

Dark military uniform with golden decorations, a brown rough beard, and a nice hat. Yup, that's the captain guy.

"N-No, please d-don't..." Reggie manages to whimper out a warning to his fellow crewmates.

"Sergeant Reggie?" Questions one of the men aiming at me.

A savage grin finds itself on my face as I look at the frightened man held in my grip.

"Hey Reggie, is that a friend of yours?" I raise him up higher so that his feet didn't touch the floor no matter how much he struggled. "I think..."

"Put him down, now!" One of them shouted at me, causing me to smile even wider.

"You guys should catch up!" And like that, I threw poor Reggie at them, successfully hitting two men and sending them all flying into the walls.

The two other guys were a bit too surprised after that, thus allowing me to walk up closer and smack them across the bridge, and since they don't seem to able to get up anytime soon which means...

"Y-You! You are t-that... but ho-" The bearded man in front of me froze as his eyes shone with realization. "S-Spirit, Crimson Prince."

"Ah, of course, the DEM would know of my existence. But anyway, I'm gonna need to ask you to-"

"Silence! My name is James A. Paddington and I'm the 2nd executive head of DEM and the captain of this airship! And you will not- GAH!?"

I cut off his prideful rant by grabbing him by the throat and lifting him up.

"The thing is Paddi-boy..." I moved him closer to my face and made him look into my eyes which were now drumming with magic. "I am the Captain now, and you will obey my every word, understood."

His pupils went wide as he momentarily went limp before returning to normal and looking... kinda haunting actually with his eyes looking as if the light of life left him.

"Yes, my captain." He answered with a monotone voice.

... I think I should feel kinda bad for doing something like this, but...

The whole airship shook violently, causing me to drop Paddi onto the floor who then rose back up and steadily made his way towards some sort of console with holograms floating above it in the middle of the room.

"My Captain, the Arbatel's Territory has been hit by the Ratatoskr's airship but it still holds firmly." He slowly turned toward me. "What are your orders, Captain?"

Ah, I guess that blondie over in the Fraxinus would continue with his assault plan against this airship that... I'm currently on.

Welp, time to quicken things up.

"My first order is to immediately cut off any communication with all DEM personal in range. Second, shut down all Bandersnatch units." I smirked a little when imagining what Ellen must be thinking now. "My third order is to beach the Arbatel near the position of Adeptus One."

"As you wish, Captain." Peddi replies in an emotionless voice as he turns his attention to the console before him.

I could get used to being called a Captain... maybe after all this mess with Mio and the Spirits is over I demand my very own airship from Ratatoskr? Oh, and I'm gonna have my own squad of superpowered girls under my command too?

Heh, one can dream, but since I'm being called Captain now...

"Paddi, I order you to always refer to me as Captain Josh Groban!" I loudly proclaim as I start to chuckle.

"Yes, Captain Josh Groban." He replied and caused me to chuckle even louder.

Kotori is going to be so confused when they capture this guy!

"Oh, and please tell me..." I say after getting a hold of my laughter and pull my phone out. "Do you guys have a USB port here? And an armory?"

Nice to see you come back my friend. Good to see Al flex his more stereotypical vamp powers this chapter.

Still waiting for the day when the group finds out he's actually a Nature Spirit born of the earth rather than an extradinensional one.

I can imagine Kotori is going to have a heart attack when she finds out just how dangerous a true ancestor is during a full moon. I mean how can you kill something if it doesn't know how to die?

Now I wonder: if we throw a true ancestor into a black hole, would it still survive?
I mean, a singularity, acknowledge and feared as one of the most destructive phenomena known to mankind and the universe in general should have at least SOME mystery in the Nasuverse, don't know about other worlds with different elements.

But even then their bodies follow some basic rules, such as aceleration and gravity so even if they survive... I don't think they would want

I'd give equal odds between the True Ancestor surviving but is stuck until trillions of years in the future when the black hole finally evaporates and frees them, or both the True Ancestor and the black hole blow the fuck up hard enough to wipe out everything in the local vicinity.

Get Shiki to stab it. It'll learn.
Correction, shoot it with Black Barrel, then have Shiki stab it or someone kill it till it dies. Doing so is pretty much the entire plot of Notes.
Girl Shiki can take out a True Ancestor when it is not at night, but yeah if it's at night then True Ancestors have no actual concept of death and said concept must first be introduced via Black Barrel or a similar conceptual weapon before either Shiki can stab it in the death.

From what I understood about TA they are 'harder' to kill during the night and stronger, but are only unkillable when it's a full moon because their 'lines of death' disappear.

Nope, lines of death disappear at night in general, though they show up again when girl Shiki 'kills' the 'nature from which Arceuid draws her strength', whatever the fuck that means. (I think it means that she 'killed' Arceuid's 'connection to the World' but I'm not sure.)

I believe that boy Shiki also becomes able to just see super-thin lines of death on Arceuid after she 'loses her immortality', but Arceuid recovers over time and the lines fade away until he can only just barely see one single line with a lot of strain.

And of course against Archetype: Earth, girl Shiki cannot see shit and even goes so far as to say that Archetype: Earth just flat out does not have a death at all, much like other Ultimate Ones.

A full moon just makes True Ancestors extra super-duper unkillable, compared to their normal unkillable state at night.

Well actually, you're both about half-right, since while True Ancestors in general are only extremely difficult to perceive the lines of at night (as in, race between successful perception and a brain haemorrhage,) and effectively deathless on the full moon, Arceuid is even worse because she's also effectively a designer baby and the True Ancestor equivalent of something between Captain America and Wolverine/X-23.

More than this, Arc is also the current top contender for the title of Type-Earth, only barred from it by her 'sister' Altrouge stealing a portion of her power, the theft of a portion of her hair being a token thereof (remember, True Ancestors are a type of incarnated Elemental, meaning that damaging their vitality/strength is more a matter of depriving them of mass in a manner that sticks than perforating their organs, hence current Arc having shorter hair than when she first met Zelretch).

While it can be argued that said theft was done to prevent Arc's Crimson Moon aspect taking over (debatable, we'll know the why's of it for sure when they're published,) it still doesn't change the fact that Arc remains one of Gaia's favoured Terminals to empower in the face of threats, such as Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. It is this connection Shiki severs to deprive Arc of an external source of strength and make her lines visible, with Type-Earth's connection being far more active, powerful, and complex, to the point where it's unfeasable to even attempt to sever it for an advantage during combat (Void Shiki might be able to, but anyone else? Good luuck... *whistles innocently*).

So basically, while I agree with the aforementioned post on most points, it runs on the assumption that Arc is an average True Ancestor rather than the super-soldier Princess created as a counter to the Demon Lords that she actually is. If the species as a whole were on her level, then her creation wouldn't have been a necessity in the first place, nor would she have been capable of genociding most of her species when Roa tricked her into a berserking blood rage in the middle of her people's home.

Get Ready To Die
Shido's PoV

"T-Tohka!" I shouted as I tried to push past the machines that were blocking me.

They were at least a dozen of those here, but most were standing in the back at the ready.

Why did it all have to go this way?

First, it was the Yamai sisters overhearing my conversation with Tohka and started their final duel once they realized that Al wasn't arriving to stop them.

Secondly, Al wasn't here, and only the small creature named Fou that is usually accompanying Al was still on my shoulder ever since I left the hotel with Tohka.

"Leave her alone, you bastards!" I shouted again as I watched a pair of tin cans grabbing Tohka by the arms and a third one approaching and aiming to grab Tohka's head.

The worst thing wasn't that it was Ellen, the supposed photographer for our school trip, turned out to be a Wizard not affiliated with the AST with the goal of capturing Tohka.

The worst thing is the feeling of powerlessness that I'm feeling right now, the very same I felt when Kurumi hurt Mana, Tohka, and Origami and tried to kill all the students of my school.

It wasn't me who stopped Kurumi, it was Kotori and Al.

There was nothing I could have done then, I could not stop the twins from starting their fight without Al being around, and I can't do anything to save Tohka now from this woman who overpowered her with one swing of her blade.

All I have is my sealing ability and the regeneration from Kotori, but I still can't use the powers of Yoshino or Tohka.

I... is the really nothing I can on my own without the help of others?

No, no, I won't stand back and wait for someone else to come!

I... I want to save and protect Tohka!

I have the strength of Spirits in my body, and I will be damned if I'm not going to use it to protect those I care for!

So I run forward towards the robots that were holding Tohka and felt rage built in me as she screamed in pain from her being handled by those monstrosities. My right hand instantly raised itself above my head, and I felt a mix of heat and cold build inside me.

"TOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHKA!"

Then, my arm swang down, and...

"Eh?" I looked in confusion at the aftermath of my action and the sudden weight in my hand.

One of the machines fell on the ground with its head cut clean off, while the others around us were pierced by spears of ice that seemed to rise from the ground.

"S-Shido?" I heard the shock of the girl in her voice.

"Ah, so... this is..." I looked at the glowing blade I held in my hand and the ice around us as I grabbed Tohka's hand and lifted her up from the ground. "Sandalphon... and Zadkiel?"

"Shido, y-you actually did it!" Tohka shouted in joy as she looked at me, and the Angel I held.

But she wasn't the only one who noticed that.

"An Angel... no, two Angels?" I looked towards the blond woman the was a few meters away from us. "Princess and... Hermit? Shido Itsuka, are you even human?"

I looked at her and saw the excitement in her eyes at what just happened, but it's her question that made me uncomfortable.

"I am... at least I think so." I answered while glaring at her.

"Hmm." Ellen frowned upon hearing this and sighed. "Very well, change of plans. I am taking you in as well."

"And please, resist a little because I have some stress that needs to be relieved thanks to that man." She declared rather calmly, except for seemingly spitting venom when speaking of 'that man'.

Why do I feel that I know who she's talking about?

Still, I don't think I can fight back against such odds, especially against her.

This sudden tiredness that I'm feeling is also not reassuring.

"Bandersnatch tea-"

CLANG!

"What?" Was our reaction to the fact that of all the 'Bandersnatch' suddenly freezing and falling over.

"Arbatel, what is the meaning of this? Arbatel, why aren't you responding? Respond damn it!" Ellen put a hand on her right ear and frantically shouted at something.

...

This is weird, but quite convenient and-

"S-Shido, why do I hear music?" Tohka questioned worriedly.

After I moment I heard it too and looked in the direction it seemed to come from, and what we saw was-!

A GIANT RED AIRSHIP?!

"The Arbatel?!" I heard Ellen shout out in recognition.

I saw as the 'Arbatel' flew towards the island... more precisely, it seems to be flying towards us.

I wanted to run as far away from it as I could, but with the size of that thing, I doubt I would be even able to run away fast enough.

The airship, however, descended even lower and hitting the water, then the sand at the beach, and finally the earth and trees. But it continued on its way towards us and deafened us with the noise of metal bending and scratching on the ground.

The nose of it stopped barely a dozen meters from us, and only then did the music that was blasting from this ship has finally stopped.

"Are you serious?! Who dares to interrupt our duel again!"

"Annoyance. Yuzuru and Kaguya need to finish this once and for all, stop with the distractions."

My head twisted towards the sky and the source of those voices.

"Kaguya! Yuzuru!" I called towards the hovering twins.

"Shido?" It was Kaguya who noticed me first with a surprise that changed into shock when she saw how hurt the girl whose hand I was holding was. "Tohka?"

"Surprise. What is this sword that Shido is holding?" Yuzuru asked while pointing at Sandalphon.

"Yeah, and... is this ice? What's going on here?!" Kaguya yelled in confusion as she noticed the icy spikes extended from the ground.

"A-Ah, you see..." I tried to think about a response that

Wait, I have their attention now! All I need is to tell them that I used an Angel thanks to my ability to seal their powers, thus allowing them both to live!

"Kaguya, Yuzuru, please listen to me now, I have the prove tha-" I tried shouting my explanation to the twins, but then another voice rang out even louder.

"Paddington! I swear you will lose your head for this act, and not even your station will protect you from the-"

As Ellen began to scream at the crashed airship, one side of it metal plating burst open, flinging a fragment of it near Ellens's head and catching us all of guard.

"-consequences." I heard the woman quietly mutter to herself as the plating hit a tree behind her.

"Well, well, well." A voice came from the inside of the Arbatel.

No way...

"O-Oi, isn't that...?" Kaguya asked with dread in her voice.

"Fouuu!" The fluffy animal cried out.

From the new-made hole came out a familiar figure dressed in black and red and holding a rather large rifle on his right shoulder.

"AL!" Tohka and I both shouted out the name of the Spirit that has just arrived at the scene.

Well, better late than never, right?

Al's PoV

"I leave you for twenty minutes, and you start a party without me." I calmly said as I began walking down from the airship and then looked up at the floating twins. "Girls, care to explain why there is a violent storm ongoing?"

The twins flinched at that comment before quickly calming themself and looking at me with determination and defiance.

"Kukuku, you do not intimidate us, for we-"

"Are a pair of selfless idiots that don't listen to any reason!" I cut Kaguya off with a yell and a glare.

"W-W-What are you saying?! We're not..." The girl stuttered out a denial.

"Agreement. Your conclusion about Yuzuru and Kaguya is incorrect." Yuzuru joined in too, but she did not look at me when saying that.

I jumped off the wreckage and into the ground, feeling the magical energy coursing through the whole island as I began to call for it.

I'm going to need that ready for Ellen.

"I know all about your situation, and I am rather upset that you two decided to not even listen to Shido." I sighed as I moved forward until I was standing between the DEM Wizard and Shido and Tohka. "Especially since he's holding the proof of being able to help you two in his hand."

"You... are a Spirit too?" Ellen asked me.

I turned to her and smirked.

"Yes, now allow me to introduce myself formally." I took off my hat and bowed slightly. "Alaya, the Crimson Prince."

In response, Ellen's expression shifted into one of anger and joy.

"Oh, dear." I turned my back to the woman and faced the hovering sisters."Yuzuru, Kaguya, take Shido and Tohka away from this place and please listen to him plea-"

PAIN!

"AL!" I heard Tohka shout my name with fear in her voice. "No, why you!"

I looked down at my chest and saw a blade of metal and yellow energy sticking out of it, blood streaming from its tip.

My blood.

THIS FUCKING HURTS!

"I wanted to do this ever since the plain flight!" The weapon was being twisted and tearing my insides. "Have you any idea how much shame you have brought to me?"

STOP IT!

I overheard the voices of everyone screaming, but it was Ellen's voice that I heard the clearest.

And it was making me MAD.

"I am Ellen Mira Mathers, the world's number one Wizard!" She screamed into my ears with pride and anger.

SHUT UP!

"Let's hope you survive this becau- GAHH!?"

She didn't manage to finish that sentence as she was flung backward several meters and ended up hitting a tree, cutting it in half.

"SHUT IT HUMAN." I growled in anger and fury as I looked where she landed and noticed that my hands have already turned into sharp claws.

"A-Al?" Shido's voice reached me, and I turned around, only to notice him taking a step back. "A-Are you alright?"

My wound was healing, leaving no trace of injury, but my anger? It was still there, demanding I tear this woman into tiny pieces for daring to harm me.

"As you see," I tapped my chest and put up a fake smile. "All fine and dandy, but now comes the part where a pair of idiots take you away from this place and leave me and Ellen alone."

"H-Hey! W-Who are you calling an idiot!"

"Correction. This term only applies to Kaguya." Yuzuru, of course, took this chance to take another dig at her sister.

"Will you two just do it, or do I have to drag you by the ears again?!" I threatened them.

The girls quickly descended and grabbed Shido and Tohka, only to rather swiftly take off with them in an opposing direction. I would probably laugh at how fast they disappeared or how Fou was struggling to keep himself from flying off Shido's shoulder, but I had someone to deal with now.

And it was a pained cough from behind me helped to remind me of that.

"I admit, you surprised me with that." The blond woman walks towards me with a blade held in her hand. "But you will not get another chance for that because you are, after all, ranked even lower than Hermit."

I chuckled at that, which seemed to surprise her a bit, and myself too, but I really couldn't help but feel excitement at what's about to come.

"My dear, cute Ellen." I said in a mocking tone as I showed off my claws and began to gather all of the island's mana. "Just because I chose not to go around and cause spacequakes around the globe, it doesn't mean I'm not capable of it."

"And now, let us start our date!" I shouted while lounging myself at her.

----

The ground broke and buckled from below me from the sheer force I put in to launch myself at Ellen with my claws ready to tear into her.

She, however, reacted in time and blocked my swing with her weapon but was surprised when it forced her a meter or two back from the power alone. I didn't stop, and the moment my feet landed on the ground, continued slashing at her with my claws.

But she defended against every single hit and seemed to be holding her ground against me.

I swang at her once more, but this time she parried me to her side, countering with a slash of her blade hitting me in my upper chest, just below the collarbone.

I hissed in pain, but I didn't allow her to take the momentum and kept on swinging at her.

"Pathetic." She stated coldly.

You dare?

"If this is all that you're capable of, then you're just a waste of my time."

She swang her sword at my neck, and only the instincts taking over allowed me to avoid getting my head chopped clean off, instead of suffering only a minor cut that reversed in an instant.

"Tsk, but you are damn persistent." She clicked her tongue in displeasure. "Such an interesting Angel too."

"You bet I am." I grinned at her. "So, wanna tell me why the DEM thought it's a great idea to send you out to capture a Spirit?"

This visibly ticket her off as she went on a full offensive against me, and while I managed to dodge or block most of her swings with my claws, she did land a few slashes on me, fueling the pain and anger I felt towards her.

"I am the strongest in the world, not even you Spirits can hope to defeat me, especially one as weak as you!" She shouted as she landed another hit on me.

Again, I felt my skin and flesh being cut, only for it to return to an undamaged state.

Overall, we seemed to have been stuck in an irritating stalemate, but then Ellen opened her mouth again.

"And once I'm done with you here, I will bring you all back with me." A proud smirk finds its way on Ellens's face as she says that.

...

"Sorry, but you're going to disappoint your psycho boss today." I calmly state after creating some distance between us.

I see as her eyes go wide, her hands holding the weapon tighter as I reached and take off my sunglasses, revealing to her my glowing yellow eyes that meet her own.

"What are... you...doing...?" She answered heavily as my Mystics Eyes of Enchanmaet began affecting her.

I could end it all here with just that, but...

I'm going to make sure she will remember not to mess with me ever again.

And so, I reached for all the mana on this small island to me, however...

But that wasn't enough for me, no. I wanted more than this, I needed more!

Then I reached deeply, much deeper than ever before, and what I 'found' was...

Crushing.

This island and that surrounded it was a mere drop in a literal ocean I've felt myself drowning and being pulled under by a bottomless abyss.

But I resisted, and I 'pulled' it back towards me allowing it to 'flood' me. There was no resistance to my wonder, but also no assistance for reasons I guessed correctly.

I closed my eyes, breaking contact with Ellen, and allowing her to regain her senses.

"W-What... did you just do to me?" She questioned in bewilderment at why she just kept staring at me and not making a move.

I simply shook my head.

"It does not matter, Ellen, all you need to know that you're going to regret trying to hurt the Spirits, and that is..." I calmly said as the world began to shift. "Because you decided to challenge a True Spirit tonight."

In an instant she was blown back like a helpless ragdoll by a strong wind manifesting out of nowhere, only to end up hitting a wall of ice that formed behind her.

"GAHHH?!" She screamed from the pain of the impact.

I didn't wait and rushed at her while she was still confused, aiming to suppress her as fast as possible. I raised a fist at the woman that was slowly getting up and-

"Territory?" I said as a green barrier that formed around Ellen and protected her from my first strike but then shattered into green light particles right after.

Ellen used that moment to thrust her blade at my head, succeeding in hitting my forehead, but much her terror and my indifference... it did absolutely nothing to me.

In return, she earned a kick in her left leg, sending her to the ground with another yell of pain.

"Worlds Strongest Wizard... in the end, you're still just human." I said with disgust at the downed woman.

"Don't you dare to mock me!" She shouted and flew into the air, out of reach.

Or so she probably thought, until a lightning bolt struck her down, sending her to the ground a few meters from me.

Despite this, she somehow managed to get up on her feet and launch herself at me, her sword aimed to strike me down. Alas, the moment she was tried to hit me her blade was stopped by a shield made out of pink flower petals in front of me, that then struck at her and pushed her back.

She tried again, but this time I charged too and when my claws met her blade, it was shattered and broken into pieces, leaving Ellen to stare in shock at her destroyed weapon. She did not have much time to dwell on this, however, because my other hand slashed at her right arm, tearing through her CR suit and making her bleed.

She used her flight ability to get some distance before she pulled a futuristic silver spear from her back.

"I-I am not done yet! You'll pay for this! With Rhongomiant I will-" A wall of flames that surrounded her swiftly cut her off. "How!?"

I then reached past the flames and grabbed her by the throat, and slamming her on the ground, before smirking at her.

"It's called Rhongomyniad, The Lance that Shines to the Ends of the World. And your copy is not but a disgrace to that name." And like that, I grabbed the spear from her hand and broke it in half.

She lay in the dirt, breathing and still conscious but unable to get up.

Then I heard a voice coming from Ellen.

"I-Ike." She whispered out. "I need he- AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

She screamed when I stepped on her right arm and bowed down to reach into her right ear picking up a small communicator.

"Ellen? What's going on there? Why is the Arbatel not responding?" A rather cold voice of a man came out of the device.

I could probably use it to mess with Isaac a little, but...

CRASH!

"Nah." I said when crushing the device in my fingers, and returned my attention to Ellen. "Well, since I don't think you will be able to run away anytime soon..."

"Let me ask you some questions and give a few suggestions, alright~?" And my eyes meet hers for the final time.
