Hiding From Unstable Spirits (Date a Live/Tsukihime)[SI](Spoilers)

I wonder how long it will take the rest of the world to figure out that his explanation is bullshit and that he's just messing with them.
Hopefully long enough that he can get away with messing with them for a looong time. I want to see what shenanigans he can openly get up to now that he has revealed himself as a spirit.

Of Flowers and Bad Decisions
"...you let me tell you the story of a king. " I said with a playful smile plastered on my face.

I was still furious on the inside no matter how much I tried now to hide it after seeing Mana wounded and bleeding on the floor, who is insane enough to send a 13-year-old girl into combat against Spirits?

Kurumi also didn't help her case when I noticed that Tohka and Origami had noticeably more bruises than when I told them to run on ahead.

And I still felt a little euphoric from the short slaughter of her clones downstairs.
This strength, this speed, this power it...felt intoxicating.

I ripped them apart and I loved every second of it and when I was done I simply wanted more, more slaughter, and more combat. I wasn't sure if that's how proper bloodlust feels but it was so tempting to just rush in here and rip Kurumis head clean off.

But I held it off, no matter how much I want that to happen, if I let into that urge I could actually kill her here and that would ruin any chances at trying to have a somewhat civilized relation with Shido and the rest of the Spirits.

So after looking at the fear that Kurumi was displaying at my presence and the fact that members of both the AST and the DEM are here I might as well show off and play the Spirit card myself.

Now that Kurumi is in too much of a confused shock to do anything I can try and see if my little Marble Phantasm will be able to replicate the power of the Magus of Flowers.

"From the stars of the inner sea, from the tower of insight..." I continued my totally necessary chant and started to imagine what I want the world around to become.

"From the four corners of paradise, let them know..." I closed my eyes and the image became clear.
I want this place to become an Unreachable Utopia, a place where no one suffers and no one dies.

"Their story is filled with blessings." And I could feel the drain on myself, from trying to do this in a small hotel room to a roof of a school building are two different things, but I also began to sense the slowly building warmth around me.

"Only those free of sin may pass..." I opened my eyes and saw that now all the clones have abandoned their hostages and stood on the other half of the roof.
Now, to finish this up.

"Garden of Avalon!" I swung my right arm theatrically towards the clones and then the world changed around us all.

Starting on my side, half of the roof is now covered in a field of beautiful pink flowers and the air was carrying countless petals of said flowers.

Everyone present was shocked at that, myself included but I tried not to show it. I am sure that if I was a normal True Ancestor and tried to do that in the Nasuverse the world would have laughed at my attempt.

But here? In a place where the planet has no will of its own and all rules of logic are thrown out the window? And where I who lived as a human am now in a body of what's basically a fairy born of the planet?

Who can say that The Forever-Sealed Utopia is not a natural thing in this world? A place that is rich in fae magic and where no evil is allowed to exist?

And now that Tohka, Origami, Mana, and Shido are withing the flower field means that Kurumi won't be able to harm and even touch them. Still, I wonder if I can create an illusion of a distant horizon and a tower above? Thoughts for later.

Speaking of them I noticed that when I got closer to them the brises of the girls were slowly disappearing and even though Mana looked a little too pale for the comfort her bleeding has stopped.

Still, the drain on myself for pulling this one off is way bigger than I expected and I feel like tired from just holding this up.

"Pretty" I heard Tohka whisper quietly under her breath as she took in the sight that now surrounded her.

BANG!

Then I heard a shot that came from the real Kurumi who aimed her weapons at me, but before her bullets could even reach me they were intercepted by the flowing petals and disappeared into nothingness.

I chuckled a bit at that.

"So Kurumi-chan, how do you like the power of Samael? My Angel is quite versatile, wouldn't you agree?" I said to the girl whose eyes went even wider than they were before at my proclamation.

"Which reminds me," I turned around to face a kneeling Origami and a still laying Mana." since the two of you will most likely report me to your superiors, I want them to know me as The Dandyman, cash?" I gave the girl a small smile and turned around to face Kurumi again. It would be better for me in the long run if Issac and Mio were to think that I'm a Spirit like the girls.

And when I saw Shido in my vision I think his brain had just short-circuited at that and...oh, now he will think that he will have to invite me on a date and make me fall for him.
I'm gonna need to buy a rope latter and find Origami's home address after this.

"NO! HOW?!WHY!? How dare you interfere now!?" Kurumi yelled at me in anger as her clones tried to ented the flower field but were effortlessly repelled by the flying petals.
If I don't want her to enter here, then she won't be able to.

"You honestly asked why someone named Alaya would protect humans?" I asked her with a raised eyebrow and looked at her as if she didn't ask the most obvious question in the world.

"Oh, and by the way, that's my full name, but you still call me Al if you want. " I told the girls and Shido when I quickly glanced back at them."Also Kurumi-chan, you owe me a new pair of sunglasses."

"ENOUGH OF THIS! IF I CANT HAVE SHIDO-SAN FOR MYSELF THEN NO ONE CAN!"I think I might have pushed her a little too much?

I saw Kurumi raise her hand into the air and then I felt a huge amount of magical energy form in the air high above us.

Huh, so this is how a Spacequake feels like?

But what Kurumi failed to notice is the new signature coming to the school quite fast and it felt like burning anger.

"Kurumi-chan, isn't there one thing that you have forgotten?" I asked the girl that was ready to obliterate a school full of innocent kids just because she couldn't get her dinner.

"And what would that be?" She asked me in return with a cocky grin on her face.

"Ah you know, the small detail that-" I was rudely cut off by the sudden disappearance of the Spacequake that Kurumi tried to throw at us, and her expression shifted to one that could be described as 'What just happened?'

"You forgot that Shido has two little sisters, isn't this right you little firecracker?" I looked up in the sky after finishing my sentence and saw the figure of a small girl flying in the air surrounded by flames.

She wore a gorgeous black and white kimono with golden accents that didn't cover her legs and most of her arms with some kind of veil that was flowing underneath her arms and in her back. Her long red hair was freely swinging in the wind and on the sides of her head were black ribbons with a golden flower motif that tied around the pair of bone-white horns.

"Didn't I tell you not to wait to make a last-second entrance and just go in the moment it looks bleak?" I directed my question at the girl floating above us, irritation clear in my voice.

"K-Kotori?" Shido was quite obviously shocked to know that his little sister is a Spirit combine that with the fact that his other little sister is a Spirit killer and you got yourself quite the unhealthy family dynamic.

I saw that Kotori gave Shido a gentle smile before she gave me and Kurumi a glare that could melt a mountain.

"Shido, I'm gonna be taking this back for a while." Kotori then reached into the flames that surrounded her. "Scorch, Camael!"And she pulled out a giant red ax/halberd that was taller than her.

"Sooooo... you're here to deal with Kurumi, right?" A hopeful question left my lips but then hope was quickly crushed when Kotori turned her head towards me and smirked evilly.

"She's first on the list, after that I'm getting back at you for my lollipops mister 'Friendly Neighbourhood Vamp'." Kotori almost growled at the end there, I guess she is smarter than Shido.

...

I hope my flowers are fireproof.

"Y-You..you killed them..." I turn around and notice that Origami was slowly getting up from her knees, all the bruiser she had were gone but in her eyes, there was clear killing intent directed at Kotori as she holds her energy sword in her hands.

"Yeah about that Origami-san, can I ask you to take a quick nap?" I said to the girl when I jumped in front of her before anyone could notice me move and then she looked into the eyes that dared to stand between her and her revenge.

Needless to say, the moment she did that my Mystic Eyes glowed with magic, and Origami was caught in my arms as she was falling unto the ground so I laid her gently on the flowers.

"Origami!" I heard Shido shout at my actions though his legs were still shaking too much for him to move and I sighed, a little bit of trust here Shido?

"Mana-san, could please look after her till this is all over?" The girl in question eyed me suspiciously but nodded after she didn't saw any malice from my actions.
Good thing I retracted the claws into normal hands I guess.

"Alright, you got the green light to pummel her Kotori!" I shouted the girl that finally decided to land on the half of the roof that wasn't covered in flowers so she could face Kurumi.

And unlike in canon Kurumi really didn't want to be here and fight with Kotori and possibly me at the same time but she needs Shido and she can't get to him if the both of us are still here, not to mention that the AST will get here shortly.

"ZAFKIEL!" Kurumi shouted out the name of her Angel and a golden clock appeared behind her but before she could even use one of its abilities Kotori was already upon her swinging madly and spreading flames around her.

Meanwhile, I simply stood within my flower field and watched the fight...well this might have been a fight in canon but now? It's so one-sided in Kotoris favor it's not even funny.

The only explanation I could think of for that was the fact that Shido was still standing with my 'Garden' thus being safe from getting caught in the crossfire and Kotori being really mad for the whole lollipops turned into a pony's head left in her bed stuff.

While Kurumi actually managed to catch Kotori with her time-freezing bullet and wailing on her with a volley of shots with the clones, the red-haired girl simply regenerated herself with those purple flames of her and proceed to cut the offending clones in nice little pieces.

Watching that unfold was getting my blood pumped and the desire to jump in and show both of them just how much below me those silly children truly were was getting almost unbearable.

...

Huh, a superiority complex?
I wonder how much of a mess has my psyche become in just a week?

"Kotori! Stop this!" A desperate shout coming from Shido woke me up from my thoughts and I noticed the fact that Kurumi was now up against the railing of the roof panting heavily while Kotori was leaking with bloodlust and she transformed her ax into a flaming canon.

Uhhhh...

That's bad, that's really bad right now!

"Protect me my others!" I saw all the clones that were left on this battlefield imminently jump in front of the original forming a line to take the blow for her.
But I know that this won't work and she loses her arm and her angel will suffer damage too.

"Burn to ashes!" Kotori aimed her Angel at Kurumi and pulled the trigger releasing a beam of fire and heat that melted trough all Kurumi clones and reached the original behind them.

Except it didn't.

When the dust lifted Kurumis Angel had indeed a hole in it but the girl herself was without a scratch.

"Mine." Was all that I said at the moment while the petal was flowing around and the ground around me and Kurumi was full of bloomed flowers.

At the moment that Kotori unleashed her attack I jumped over them all right in front of Kurumi and formed as many flowers into a shield as I could.

Good news, it worked really well.
Bad news, I'm really tired from keeping up the field over half of the school's rooftop.

In hindsight, I should've used more of the surrounding energy instead of relying on my own reserves this whole time.

"Y-You...why?" Yeah, good question Kurumi, the hell brain?

I looked at the girl that was cowering on the floor, confusion overtaking the fear of death. Then I took a glanced at Kotori and boy, she was not happy by my interruption at all judging by her glowing eyes.

"You couldn't wait for your own turn, eh? That's fine, it won't matter anyway because here you will find only death anyway." Alright, she is definitely mad at me and is readying her weapon for another blast.

"Kotori, you're going to kill them if you keep this! Killing Spirits is not the mission of Ratatoskr!" Shido finally decided to do something and pleaded with his sister, but right now she doesn't care because all that this Kotori wants is to burn and fight.

And he has a point, even if I were to start gathering magical energy from the surroundings to stop another blast I would simply be too slow. While I'm not worried about myself, Kurumi will die if shes hit now with that.

Kotori of course ignored her brother's pleading so Shido decided to be a human shield for us, and then Kotori fired once again.

----------------------------------------------

This day sucked.

Besides revealing myself to all parties present I also tired myself out enough to hit the bed the moment I got back into my hotel room.

On the plus side I've managed to somewhat copy the ability of Merlin, make sure that Origami, Tohka, and Mana were a bit healed up but I'm taking a guess that both Origami and Mana will be taken to the hospital for observation for a day or two at least.

Also losing your whole arm hurts...a lot.
Then again the amount of disarming jokes I can now pull on Kotori is somewhat of a compensation.

Kurumi got away rather quickly too but not before looking at me and Shido in a rather odd way.

I myself bailed out using my Presence Concealment the moment Kurumi disappeared into the shadows.

Now, I'm going to surrender myself to the sweet dreams embrace and deal with the consequences tomorrow, still need to get a new pair of sunglasses.

If only my dream didn't consist this time of a crimson moon and a giant castle off in the mountains.

Soooo...what do you guys think?
And to be clear, the SI isn't using a Reality Marble nor is he actually projecting a part of Avalon into reality, he is creating a field of flowers that possess healing and protecting quality.
He will also learn more easily how to use and control his superhuman strength after he experienced the feeling of using it.
Final note, the SI Marble Phantasm, and Mystic Eyes are somewhat broken and probably don't follow the rules of Nasu too closely and that's most likely the fault of my interpretation of what could be done with it. While that is true, the SI will never be stronger than Arc-chan when she was at 100% because in my mind she's the executioner of the True Ancestor while the bizarre nature of the SI could be called a 'dreamer' (or infiltrator due to his Concealment ability) and Arc will point this odd nature out when they eventually meet.

That was... Unexpected. I wonder what other effects he can create. I also wonder how the first spirit will react to him claiming to be a spirit.

Well he technically is the closest thing to a spirit born naturally born from the world itself unlike her

Garden of Eden would have been a way more theme appropriate name!
But regardless, the chapter was good. :)
Considering Eden is an artificial angel

And now!!! Meeting the big sis Arc-chan!!!
I know that he won't pull off that properly, the one who really does that(Merlin)has a more whole understanding of where his prison is located.

Granted he got the flowers(which I don't know what's called) and the rudimentary effects, the guy can't easily capture fully that image and presence of the place.

Tho it would be damn interesting take on the upcoming chapter and the reactions of the various people!

Lastly, lemme point the TYPOS I noticed:
who is insane enough to send a 13-year-old girl into combat against Spirits?
And I could feel the drain on myself, from trying to do this in a small hotel room to a roof of a school building

That makes it even better! The implications, the misunderstandings! I'm salivating at the thought of the chaos it might spawn.
You know which angel he should try to emulate? Even though he may end up pissing the wrong kind of assasin?
Ejem
"Listen. The evening bell has tolled thy name."
"The feathers foreshadow your death, and behead━"
"Azrael!

It will be interesting to see Arc's thoughts about the whole situation, it'll also be interesting to see if she sends help in any way.
Edit: Random thought, I wonder if data from his marble Phantasm could be used to improve Realizer technology, or at least reveal another way of going about something similar.

Man, hopefully the next chapter will show the reactions of everyone, Ratatouille, D.E.M, (which shall now stand for Diabolus Ex Machina, since they are royally screwed) and the A.S.T (I can't find anything funny to say about their name). Another thing that just came to mind is: if big sis Arc is already insanely powerful in the TYPE-MOON earth, how world shatteringly powerful will she be in the DaL earth. Food for thought right there.

Well, I doubt the AST would name a Spirit like that so Dandyman is the next best thing, besides he has a Twitter account with that name so that's something.
Naaaww~ what I mean is. When he introduced himself he could had done the 'I am called with many names' spiel and one of his fav is being Alucard Brunestud and all.

I haven't dug deeply on RL lore about if there is a main source of the Alayashiki name but when someone notices what Alucard is spelled backwards would be downright funny.

I request this as a non-canon omake.

Do be careful in going melee though, since blood is like sex cocaine to TAs. Being able to resist the temptation better with time is most likely very normal, since you get used to it, just remember that it probably was very easy to the actual ones too, so easy that they probably thought "Trying sexCocaine(blood) won't hurt, I totally am resisting the urge to try."

Then they went super insane, consider that Arcueid is like the strongest of them all and it takes something like 7/8 of her power to supress her bloodlust, if your not even as strong as that large fraction of Arcueid, you cannot supress it at all and will proceed to try and drink all blood until you run out, and then after killing everything will proceed to go throught a brutal withdrawal.

If you are strong enought that would be the biggest nerf to you possible.

Home Visit!
Shido's PoV

Shido was up earlier than everyone else in the house and was currently checking the inside of the fridge to plan breakfast for the girls. And the reason he was up was simple, he could not sleep the past few days ever since the incident on the school's rooftop.

He would have died that day.

He, Tohka, Origami, Mana, and all the other students of the school would be killed by Kurumi if it wasn't for Kotori and... Al or Alaya as he introduced himself.

Shido couldn't recall ever feeling so powerless as he did then because there was nothing that he could do. While he did convince one of Kurumi's clones to abandon her plans he failed to do so when the real Kurumi revealed herself.

Just as he could do nothing when she wounded Mana and then subdued Tohka and Origami, and back then he didn't know why Kurumi seemed to be in such a hurry to finish this off as quick as she could.

That was until Al showed up his red cloak bloody and he utterly denied Kurumi the chance all the while mocking the girl that seemed terrified at his appearance. Tohka later told him that she too was scared of Al but that was because of the raw power he seemed to hold and a sense of unease he emitted around himself.

And then came Kotori and Shido's heart became as heavy as a stone.

His little sister that he lived with all this time was a Spirit! And he never noticed anything and now, he will have to go on a date with her tomorrow and make her fall for him.

The sudden and painful return of some memories of what happened 5 years ago didn't help too, especially after he met Origami who was held in the hospital after the incident for observations though she didn't even have a scratch on her same as Mana who was in the hospital too.

In fact, Mana seemed to be even healthier than she was before.

And the less he thinks about the day he went out with Tohka and Yoshino to buy swimsuits for them the better for his heart it is.

But his mind ignored the distraction and returned to the final moments of the school incident and how Kotori was lost in her bloodlust and how it was Al that shielded him and Kurumi when the second shoot from Kotori's Angel came.

Though when Shido spoke later with Kotori about it she claimed that she managed to redirect the beam in the last moment when she regained control over herself but Al apparently didn't want to take the chance.

So Shido was picked up by Al faster than he could react and was thrown at Kurumi thus knocking them both out of the way but Al himself stood his ground and surrounded himself with the petals that were still flowing in the air.

And then the beam of flames hit Al head-on.

After the dust settled Shido was in just as much shock as was Kurumi that was sitting on the ground next to him and she was looking at both him and Al asking "Why"?

Before Shido could respond to that he noticed the state that Al in, mainly he saw the total lack of his left arm and parts of his torso and that made Shido almost throw up his lunch and judging by the gasps that were coming from everyone that was still watching this they found it disturbing as well.

But Al, he...he simply looked at it his missing arm in annoyance mixed with pain and then he looked towards Shido and Kurumi and simply said "You're not hurt, are you? Good." Shido blinked and Al's arm was back where it should have been with no visible damage even to his clothes!

Following that Shido looked in Kotori's direction, he saw that she was gasping for air and that the flames that were once flying around her were gone and she was slowly losing consciousness.

" Don't worry, flames just needs oxygen for fuel to burn and I promise I will not hurt her. " Al assured him and Shido knew that he meant it and after a moment that seemed an eternity his little sister fell on her knees and the passed out.

After that Shido remembers that Al looked towards Kurumi and told her "go away" and that "he'll find her later" to which the confused girl nodded and disappeared into the shadows but not before making eye contact with Shido and Al for the last time.

Shido still remembers the shout in his ear from Reine informing him that the AST was almost at his location but he still needed an explanation from Al who most likely noticed his distressed look and simply looked into Shido's eyes and whispered "Take a nap." and Shido's eyes involuntarily began closing but not before he saw Al snap his fingers and simply...disappear into thin air.

Shido also still remembered the look on Reines's face when he woke up later on board of the Fraxinus, instead of the usual calm expression she seemed conflicted. Espciacialy when the topic of Al being a male Spirit came, Shido could swear that Reine wanted to deny it but the data that the ship has collected and Tohkas words seemed to confirm the theory that Al was, in fact, a true bonafide Spirit.
And Shido will most likely be forced to...ask him out for a date.

Shido shuddered at the thought but quickly threw it away, this will have to wait because for now, Kotori takes priority.

Ding Dong!

Shido's thoughts were abruptly cut off by the ringing from the door of his house but who would visit at such an early hour? Tohka and Yoshino would simply open the door and walk in so it couldn't be them.

So Shido decided to walk toward the door and welcome whoever decided to come to his house, maybe it was just some mistake?

"Good morning Shido-san, mind if I come in?"

What Shido did not expect was Al who was wearing a red hoodie with two corvids perched on each side of his shoulders to visit him.

And as such Shido.exe stopped working.

------------------------------------------------

The past few days since the craziness at Shido's school have been quite stressful for me, from accidentally making Kurumi stop playing with her food a bit less to revealing myself to the world as the first male Spirit.

If Reine/Mio didn't know about my existence they certainly know now. Joy.

But if my bluff paid off she may actually believe I'm a spirit from the future or a different timeline but that can only work as long as she doesn't get close enough to me to call me on my bluff.

I also learned to not depend on my own magical reserves, especially when I'm trying to replace the surrounding world with a replica of 'The Forever-Sealed Utopia' and I should at the very least use the surrounding mana for that.

And I'm not ashamed to admit that I was hiding in my room most of the time and only walking out under the cover of my Presence Concealment hoping it would be enough to hide from all parties interested in either killing or capturing me.

Which on the upside meant that I could spend all this time sitting in my room and learning the most basic Magecraft that I was failing at the whole time!

...

It took me two days and an uncountable amount of small toys to get the Structural Grasp to work...kind off? Having suddenly a very detailed blueprint of an object enters your mind is an interesting experience.

So naturally, I decided to expand my tests to other objects...and broke a lot of them.
Except for the TV surprisingly.

I also may have taken a few jewels from the local shops and decided it was a good idea to try and load them with magical energy.

And I blew all of them up safe for one that was now loaded with my mana and just...was laying there. I knew I should have read more about the Tohsaka Magecraft so I would know more than 'jewels charged with mana for spells'.

Guess its time to learn Reinforcement next.

It was during that time that I noticed the two blackbirds that were sitting on my windowsill and looking at me, and I remember how happy it made me.

Guess who has now two familiars?

One of the birds was a big female raven which I named Qrow, while the other smaller one was a male crow that I named Raven.
Messing with people will be so damn easy with those two.

Also communicating with them seemed surprisingly easy as both of them seemed to fully understand every word I said and in return, I could somewhat 'guess' what they were thinking, it was an odd thing but I tossed it to me being a 'Nature Spirit'.

And thanks to them I learned that Shido was yesterday out with Tohka and Yoshino shopping, which meant that the day where he goes on a date with Kotori is just around the corner.

This all lead me to this moment standing in front of the Itsuka home with bags filled with lollipops, ice cream, and some kinako bread.

So steeling myself for a potential dropkick from Kotori when she recognizes me I ring the doorbell and to my surprise, I don't have to wait too long for someone to answer it.

What greeted me was the face of Shido who was rather surprised to see me out of all people in the early morning so I decided to give him my best smile and said: "Good morning Shido-san, mind if I come in?"

...

"Umm, Shido-san?" I tried to get the attention of the boy but he just stared at me dumbfounded and unmoving, which was a bit unnerving to me since I planned on breaking him after I got inside the house.

Then I heard a noise behind Shido that was coming from the top of the stairs and after a moment I saw Kotori lazily making her way downstairs and rubbing her eyes.

This time she wore a short black frilled dress, black stockings, and her hair was styled in twin tails with the help of her black ribbons and...how did I miss that ahoge she has on her head?

"Shido who is it at this hou-" Kotori froze mid-sentence after she recognized that it was me who was standing in front of their door and an uncomfortable silence fell around us.

"So...I brought some lollipops." I waved the plastic bag I held in my right hand with the hopes of stirring the both of them out of their shock but I noticed that now Kotori wears the same expression that Shido has, and he still hasn't moved since he saw me!

I sigh and raise my hand above Shido's head and swiftly bring it down on him karate chop style and that seems to wake him up.

"AUCH!" W-Why would you do that?!" The boy yelled out and took a step back which I took as I invitation to get in and so I did.

"Because we won't get anything done if both of you will just stare at me the whole day, after all, you have a date tomorrow, right?" I answered it like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

I quickly took off my shoes and went into the home's kitchen and left my bags on the table and took a seat on the nearest chair all the while Shido just stood in the doorway and Kotori was getting down the stairs shooting me a deadly glare.
I found it adorable.

Shido eventually decided to move and he joins me at the table while Kotori was now leaning on the fridge, her eyes never losing track of me as if I would be gone or something the moment she looked the other way. I was just smiling and leaning with my hands on the table playing it off as if it were a visit to a friend's house.

"S-So Al-san... I mean Alaya what are you doing here?" It was Shido who decided to break the silence with a reasonable question.

"Please Shido just calls me Al, it will be easier for everyone then my full name. And the answer to your question is that I simply decided to visit my neigbou-"

"Are you a Spirit?" Alas, I was rudely interrupted by Kotori who decided to skip all the pleasantries and go for the real questions.

"Yup!" I then flooded their home with pink flower petals that were flying around them both before soaring above them and sticking around the ceiling, then I looked into Kotori's eyes and with a wide grin, I said "And you were late Kotori-chan! I told you to not make a last-second entry! Eh, but I guess that's our first time meeting so I guess I can forgive you for not listening to my advice, I'd even give you a handshake but my arm still feels a bit sore"

Hearing that I saw Kotori visible wince as she either remembers melting my arm or she has heard the report of what happened after she went all battle mode on Kurumi.

Time to drop some bombs before she can regain her calm.

"It wasn't your fault," I said completely seriously and kept my eyes locked with the girl's eyes.

"W-What are you ta-?"

"Five years ago, that chaos wasn't your fault and I guess Shido already knows it but there was another Spirit there." I cut the girl off before she could stop me. " Actually there were two Spirits there and you were just a bystander in the whole chaos."

At that, the mouths of Shido and Kotori dropped almost simultaneously and they stared at me with wide eyes, and I started to chuckle at the sight before me.

"Oh, and Shido? You better tell that your stalker girlfriend when she decides to crash your date with your younger sister equipped with some heavy-hitting gear and ruin half the amusement park." I made sure to emphasize the 'younger sister' part which was rewarded with a wince from Shido and a small blush from Kotori.
I'm having too much fun here.

"Shido!" I heard a shout coming from outside the house and then the door busted open and a blur of blue and purple swiftly entered and now stood before us.

"A-Al?!" Shout out a confused Tohka with Yoshino standing behind her.

"Good morning girls, I bought you some snacks on my way here. " I said while waving to the girls and while Tohka seemed a little apprehensive to approach, surprisingly it was Yoshino who got closer to the table.

"Hey Onii-chan, is it true that you're a Spirit too?" The puppet asked me and I simply nodded in conformation and after a moment of thought it was Yoshino who asked me next."W-What did you bring?"

I reached towards one of the bags and pulled out some of the ice creams that I bought earlier and presented it to the young girl whose eyes lit up like a Christmas tree and she swiftly took it from my hands.

It was then when Yoshino noticed the flower petals that were flowing around the ceiling and looked awestruck by them which gave me a simple idea. I focused a little bit and in my hands, I held a small crown of pink flowers that I offered to the shy girl.

She seemed to love it and eagerly accepted the 'crown' on her head after which she hugged me.
She is just so cute damn it!

"Caw!Caw!" And from the sounds that Raven and Qrow make they must agree with me, I knew I picked up smart birds!

Tohka too came closer when she noticed the kinako bread in one of the bags and with a single nod from me she took it all out and began munchkin on it. All the while Shido and Kotori were watching this go on in silence.

"ALRIGHT ENOUGH OF THIS! WE STILL HAVE QUESTIONS!" Sadly the silence didn't last as Kotori slammed her hand on the table and yelled.
I'm pretty sure I heard a creak coming from the poor thing.

"And I think I've already have said enough." And with a snap of my fingers, I was gone. Well not really but they didn't need to know that I'm still sitting in the chair, but seeing Yoshinos worried expression I decided to snap my fingers and 'return'.

"W-Where did you go?!" Was the question that Shido decided to ask, to which I smiled.

"Kotori's closet," The girl looked ready to turn me into ash at the presumed mockery so why not make the best out of it? "and I gotta say, you have some pretty bold clothes for a girl your age."

And in the silence the fell one could hear a pin drop, which was weird. I expected being shouted at or even dropkicked bu Kotori but she seemed to...blush?

Oh.

Oooooooooh.

"THEY WERE ON SALE, ALRIGHT?!" ...I did not expect my bluff to turn out true nor did I want Kotori to confirm it.

"And like this, I think I'm going back to my home, I have said enough for one day, I wouldn't want to spoil too much here. " I said as I got up from the chair and gently patted Yoshino on the head who seemed a bit saddened at this development, while Tohka seemed to be stuck in her own world and still was eating the bread I brought.

"But please, stay and let's talk a little bit. I'm sure you have many things you wish to share, right?" My attempt to exit was suddenly cut short by a rather familiar voice coming from the home entrance.

WHY IS SHE HERE?!

She should be in a hospital bed for at least a month because of the wounds that she...should have sustained.
I think my Marble might have been a tad bit too good at its job.

"And good morning to you too...Mana-san. I'm glad to see you in good health." I said to the short blue-haired girl that was now standing in front of the doorway, and judging by the look in her eyes she will not let me go so easily.

"Thank you, but don't think you can simply get away from here, now answer this question. What do you want?" The girl said in a tone that left no place for a discussion in it but it was a good question.

What do I want?

Well obviously I don't want to die by Mio here, but...that's not all.

I...

I don't want the girls and Shido to suffer, to be afraid of the DEM, that is why I wanted to take out Issac besides him most likely being the BBEG.

But...there is one I want to save, even if I have no idea if that is a possibility. So I take a deep breath and get ready to give Mana an answer.

"I want everyone here to be safe and happy, but most of all...I want to save a silly girl that was born to love someone and disappear." My answer that was delivered with an honest smile on my lips must have shocked everyone present judging from the silence that followed.

"Well, see you all tomorrow and you Mana-san better get yourself a swimsuit." Were the last words that they heard from me today as I snapped my fingers and disappeared from their senses, and that was enough of a distraction to slip pass the girl and go towards my hotel room.

"MY CLOSET!" Also, it seems that Kotori thought she will find me there. Good thing she didn't bring up the whole melted candy and blood on the wall accident...yet.

XXXXXXXXX

Sorry for releasing this one so late, but I simply wasn't confident with what I was writing.
So, Mana is here and is already on the run from DEM instead of being taken out for a month, which means Origami will most likely end up being ganked upon by Mana, Kotori, and Al.
And Al really wants one of those lightsabers they have.
All criticisms are welcome.

Ladies and gentlemen, operation "Baffle Them With Bullsh*t" is in effect, everyone come up with the most asinine ways to foil the enemy's plans.

So I was bored and re-read the chapter again and it seems I missed some TYPOS and I made some personal suggestions but if that's all but their just suggestions, soo;

Following that Shido looked in Kotori's direction, he saw that she was gasping for air and that the flames that were once flying around her were gone and she was slowly losing consciousness.
"Don't worry, flames just needs oxygen for fuel to burn and I promise I will not hurt her.
Tohkas words seemed to confirm the theory that Al was, in fact, a true bonafide Spirit.
wearing a red hoodie with two corvids perched on each side of his shoulders to visit him.
"(had a extra spacing here)Hey Onii-chan, is it true that you're a Spirit too? ?-(doubled questionmark)"
but I guess that's our first time meeting so I guess I can't forgive you for not listening to my advice, I'd even give you a handshake but my arm still feels a bit sore"

But I wonder if Al cobbled the familiar making or he asked for halp to a certain onee-san of his.

A few Spoilers Never Hurt Anyone, Right?
Ocean Park was big.

Like, I have never in my life been in a building this huge that was dedicated to relaxation and fun.

Green hills, long and curvy slides, and many pools were all located under the enormous dome-shaped glass ceiling, and a damn amusement park right behind it.

This leads me to question the budget that this city must have had and how much they are loosing from the AST versus Spirit fights with an occasional Spacequake happening.

This place is simply perfect for any activity be it with one's family, friends, or a possible date.
A shame Origami will blow up most of the amusement park when she decides to murder her crushes little sister.

...

This is messed up.

Or it would be if not for the fact that I know that Kotori will absolutely trash Origami, add to that Mana's and mines presence here and I'm starting to feel a little bad for the white-haired girl.

Oh, yeah, since somehow Mana is in top health thanks to me it means that she is also present here with Shido and the girls. And Kotori doesn't seem to be a fan of the predicament with how much she butts her head with Mana.

And I'm just sitting here, at a table and watching as a bunch of teenagers have their fun while sipping a strawberry smoothie.
Is this how guardian angels feel?

I've been here for about two hours and the rest arrived about half an hour ago, and besides the earlier mentioned presence of Mana not much has changed from the episode if I don't count the fact that when on the slide Shido had two little sisters glues to his front and Tohka to the back.

I am pretty sure that this was a safety violation but I ain't pointing that out and being a party pooper.

The group finally decided to take a break with their activities in the water and went to take a seat on a nearby table ordering some food which Tohka was devouring at a concerning rate.

And after a while, Kotori suddenly got up and left with Shido following her after a moment of hesitation, and seeing my chance to end this boredom I dropped my Concealment and made my way to the table where the three girls currently sat.

"Onii...chan?" Yoshino was the first to notice my approach causing Mana and Tohka to whip their heads towards me. While Yoshino greets me with a small smile on her lips and Yoshinon waving a paw at me, Tohka seems just surprised at my sudden appearance and Mana looks about ready to jump out the chair and cut my head off.

"What are you doing here?" Mana asked of me and her eyes narrowed at my unexpected appearance at their table.

"Peace Mana-san, I simply chose to visit this place at this day and hour, and I just so happen to notice that the cutest girls in the city were here," I answered the young girl and while taking a seat at the table I noticed a slight blush on Yoshino's and Tohka's faces." and it's not like I said yesterday that I'll see you again?"

"Al-san, you are a Spirit that was never been spotted before and you conveniently appeared when Kurumi was about to kill my Nii-sama on the school's roof so forgive me if I find that suspicious. Besides, are you really a Spirit?" Yet it seems the young girl was still not convinced about my intentions.

"Mana-san, I am in fact a Spirit but if you don't believe me, I could always create a Spacequake that would erase this town from existence, "This was a half-lie to be fair because while I never created such a thing myself, I saw how Kurumi and Kotori did theirs and I was sure I could recreate that." but why would I ever do such a horrible thing?"

Mana's eyes widened at my declaration and it seemed that a little bit of the tenses in her body was gone, but she was still ready to jump on me if she deemed me a danger.

And while it was Mana who was seeking any signs of deceit in my words and eyes it was surprising to me Tohka who asked a question next.

"Ummm...Al-san?" My focus shifted from Mana's brown eyes to Tohka's indigo ones and I simply nodded signing to her that she had my attention now. " D-Did you mean what you said yesterday? About wanting to protect us? And that girl you mentioned, is she a Spirit too?"

Huh, I did say that, didn't I? I should have expected for Tohka to ask those questions, after all, Shido was the first to show her kindness and now I'm coming out of nowhere and saying that I want to protect them.

"Yup, after all, us Spirits should stick together, right? And since I'm the oldest one here it is my duty to look after the younger ones, almost like an older brother honestly." Well, in a sense the power of Spirits all came from Mio, so I guess that makes all the girls connected in a sense? And why did Yoshino suddenly perk up a bit? "As for the girl, yes she is a Spirit but she's a unique kind of Spirit, just like me or you Tohka-san."

Tohka's eyes went wide for a moment at my words and the possible meanings behind them. But she won't realize the truth on her own anyway, after all, Tohka was a crystal that became sentient or something?

And then there is me, a Nature Spirit that can create Vampires if he sucks on someone's blood and was himself a human two weeks ago.

"Hey, hey onii-chan! Where are your little birds?" Asked me rather suddenly Yoshinon.

"Ah, you mean Raven and Qrow? They are...around." I did answer truthfully because before I entered I managed to get both of them inside too, and ordered them to alarm me if Reine decides to move towards me. As such they are currently sitting on top one of the small hills here.

though all this time Mana was kept looking at me with suspicion with the occasional raised eyebrow at some of my words, it seems it will take her a while to get used to my prese-

"Nii-sama!" Her eyes looked past me with joy and she began to wave her hand. As I turned around I saw Shido who seemed a bit more determined than when I last saw him.

"A-Al-san?!" Shido shouted when he noticed me and in return, I gave him a small wave and a cheeky smile.

"Hello Shido-san, missed me?" I asked the surprised boy in a teasing tone that, judging by his reaction I must have reminded him a bit of Kurumi as his eyes went wide. " You did take your sweet time, now isn't there something you want to tell the girls?"

"A-Ah, yeah! You see I want to-"

"Take Kotori to the amusement park to spend time alone with her and seal her Spirit powers before she burns the city to ashes?" I cut Shido off which caught the boy off guard.

"H-How d-do yo-" Shido was now stuttering at my sudden interruption but this was too good of a chance to miss it.

"How do I know that this was your plan before you could even tell that to the ship above the city?" His eyes were now wide as plates and no words were leaving his mouth. "It's simple, I can read people's minds."

And by the sounds of gasping coming from Tohka and Yoshino, they both have bought into that friendly little lie but Mana just narrowed her eyes.

"Can I please talk with Shido alone for a little? I have a few things to say to him." I said to the girls, and while Yoshino and Tohka were a bit reluctant, I was sure Mana was one step from cutting my head off.
Wonder how that would feel like?

"I-It's alright, I want to talk with Al-san, there is no need to worry, right?" Shido turned from the girls to me expecting a confirmation.

"Yup." Was all I said with a gin plastered on my face that did little to assure Mana but she eventually relented under the pressure of her older brother's gaze.

So the girls got up and went towards the water but not before I got an 'Im watching you' from Mana.
It's adorable how she thinks shes intimidating.

"S-So...what is it you wanted to talk about?" Shido began first, his nervousness clear as the day.

I chuckled a bit at that, I know that I must seem like a mystery to him with the way I act and know of things I shouldn't but he's way too stressed about this.

"First, calm down Shido-san, there is no point in being this nervous around me, I am not Kurumi so I'm not planning on making you my lunch." I noticed that all the tenses in his body were gone the moment I said that so I continued. "What I want to tell you is a little more about the incident that happened 5 years ago."

Shido gulped and then nodded urging me to continue.

"Now, during that time in the city there were 3 other Spirits not counting Kotori, but only two of them were directly involved in what happened and your little sister was just a bystander to it all." He looked shocked at the revelation of the number of Spirits I mentioned but he composed himself swiftly and nodded again so I continued. " I do not know all the details or the identities of those Spirits bar one. I call her Phantom because she is someone that can be really hard to detect if she doesn't want to be found. More than that she was one of the two Spirits involved."

I lied to Shido because I knew that Reine was most likely listening in on our conversation along with the rest of the ship's bridge crew so I needed to hide the whole truth from them for the time being or else I risked Mio's wrath upon myself.

Then Shido caught his head in his right hand as if he was...in pain?

...

CRAP!

"Shido, you need to calm down!" I ordered the boy while he was looking into my Mystic Eyes and the effect was almost instant and Shido was now calm and free of the pain that could take him over.

I chastised myself for this mistake, I should have known that there will be a negative reaction when I started to talk about events that were sealed off his memory by either himself or Phantom.

I sighed heavily and continued.

"Now, let us focus on Kotori-chan, alright?" I asked Shido and he nodded again. "I know that she currently lacks in control of her Spirit powers so it is important that you seal her today, but I know that you can easily manage that."

My confidence seemed to confuse Shido at which I simply smiled.

"You have known her for years Shido-san, as such, there is no need to doubt yourself or your little sister. I believe you know how you should do it?" I pointed at my ear and Shido seemed to catch on with what I was insinuating and smiled at me in return.

"Yeah, I do. Thanks, Al-san, now I can fully focus on what's important." I gave a good-hearted chuckle at his response.

"Good, but still don't rush things and enjoy the time with her. And meanwhile, "I got up from the table and began to slowly walk in the direction the girls went." I will keep an eye on the girls. Oh, and don't tell Kotori-chan that I'm here, knowing that the Crimson Fucker is here might upset her a bit.

Shido just stared at me jaw dropped as if I have just grown a second head. I winked at him and gave him a small thumbs up.

...

Now, how long till Origami decided to rudely crash the party and what gear can I steal from her after she gets beaten into a pulp?

XXXXXXXX

I don't know why this chapter took me so long to make, but hey at least it finally out. Next one will most likely end the Kotori arc and possibly traumatize Origami just a bit.
