Is it just about time for Grail-kun to migrate to a new fictional work to wreck havoc? (Multi-vote).

They released some movies awhile back but Hellboy originates from Dark Horse Comics. I never got into the serries myself, but my understanding is that it's similars to DC's Constantine. Except instead of an exorcists, it's a red skinned horned demon fighting off the end of the world. But don't take my word for it.

OKAY VOTE CLOSED.
I will tally in a bit.

I think there was a movie called that a while back. From what I recall, he was a demon summoned by Nazis, who turned on them and worked for the US government in a team with a guy from Atlantis, or something along those lines.

I am actually shocked Hellboy isn't something mainstream that everyone knows. Huuuuuh.

Anyway, I would peg Hellboy as a more Lovecraftian style story (Eldritch Abominations, Nazi Superscience, Occult Societies, Hyperbola, Aryans, Frog people, aliens, fairies, King Arthur, etc, etc), with a lot of tongue in cheek pulpy action hero type adventures. Hellboy isn't actually as cranky as Constantine, although he's more stoic than the slightly more sarcastic version in the Movies.

The Seven who are One represents the Ogdru Jahad. A primordial Outer God type evil entity(entities) who was created by an Angel and is also the Dragon of the Revelation. The Planet Earth is a core part of it's prison system and it's release will definitely result in the end of mankind as we know it and possibly the rest of the universe.

Hoby Ho! I guess we're going back to Taytay for a bit.

QUICK! What would Taylor want to wish for?

She's currently in a locked cell with her parents somewhere Cauldron keeps secret. She's happy her mom is alive. She is furious at Grail-kun for pulling them into this mess.

This may be a bit prematurem but my vote for her wish would be to screw over Contessa, and I would like it to be done something like this: [Give Contessa the Skill Screw Up: EX and a -EX Luck Stat
It reminds me of something I read in a F/SN story I read a while ago. And yes that is a negative EX luck stat.
Screw Up: EX
"Anything Contessa does has a small chance to fail so spectacularly it might seem logically impossible."

She ended the Endbringers and got her mom back.

I dunno. Clean up the boat graveyard?

Bonus points if we use the wish to turn the massive tons of shipwrecks into Not!MetalGear (Minus nukes) to protect the city.

With the complication that while it's a Hero that will protect this city from Villians...it doesn't really get the whole collateral damage thing.

For Grail-kun to go fuck itself.

"You want me to reproduce? Done!"

*Buds a second Grail-kun*

I wish I had your powers
I wish my family was safe from cauldron
I wish I was free
I wish you would get me out of this mess
I wish I could control Cauldron
I wish you would resurrect Eidolan without the ability to control endbringers
I wish I had a power which could beat Contessas
I wish I had Eidolan's powerset
I wish I had Contessa's powers
I wish we could always escape our troubles
I wish I had control of the endbringers
I wish my life would never get any worse
I wish I was safe from retribution
I wish me and my family would no longer suffer any punishment from killing Eidolan (and meeting you)

They've been stuck in here since Contessa's wish, right? Did they see the aftermath of summoning Heroic!Eden? Do they know why Contessa wanted Scion dead? How long has it been since they had something to eat? Is there anyone in there with them? Does she know about Cauldron? Is there anyone there with them?

If they've been held by Cauldron since Contessa's chapter, then the Heberts might not know about how badly wishes can backfire.

As for wishes, these are some options:
  • Bring Eidolon back to life.
  • Get us out of here.
  • We want to go home.
  • Convince them we're really sorry Dad stabbed Eidolon to death in his sleep and that he won't do it again.
  • Make us members of Cauldron (if they've been told about the Entities and have been convinced the organization is needed).
  • Go away and bother someone else, we don't want any more wishes.
That last one would probably default to Grail-kun giving them a knife before leaving.
"So, is my wish granted yet?"

Grail-kun bobbled his head up and down excitedly, "Oh yes!"

There was a massive sonic boom that rattled the windows outside of David's apartment.

"What was that!?" Daniel shouted in alarm.

Grail-kun shrugged, "That would be the Moon cracking in half. Anyway, I must go, there are wishes to grant!"

He vanished.

Fortuna stared at the empty spot in horror. Her cellphone suddenly ranged rang.
She answered and flinched at the shouting from the otherside other side.

It was Rebecca.

"CONTESSA, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!? SCION IS GOING NUTS AND FIGHTING SOME SILVER BITCH! THEY BROKE AFRICA!"

Fortuna wanted to cry.
Oh right, they do know about what open-ended or poorly phrased wishes can do. That would probably lead to some attempted rules-lawyering to prevent any catastrophic damage.

Also, found a couple of typos.

Can I still change my vote?
Usually you can just make a post with new vote or edit your old post and it will overwrite your old vote, but at this point the vote has already ended.
