Ghosts of the Ancestors. (A Cultivation Riot Quest).

That could just be because by QC5 your baseline Intelligence is enough to qualify for harder Alchemy projects?
If Sun Zian has the third level at QC8 Peak then I don't think Immortal II can be gated by any higher cultivation than peak QC3 or QC4.

EDIT: And we do have an advantage over Sun in our favoured qi types, at least for the earlier levels. Reflection and Yin qi both boost mental attributes.

Immortal II is indeed achieved when you get to QC 5, it can also be achieved by reaching a capstone in a body cultivation refinement or soul grade 2. Other cultavetion paths also posses individual breakpoints for this.

Immortal III is received when you achieve either QC 9, five capstone refinements (wich is how Sun Zian got it) or soul grade 3.

Good to know but now I quail at how expensive soul cultivation must be for those tiers to be comparable.

Of course it must be super rare outside the guang to even know that soul cultivation can also trigger it. Pretty much everyone else would have met other requirements long before soul grade 2 much less three

Instead of the cost, think of how usefull it must be.
And we get to stack those bonuses!

look on the bright side, we havven't unlocked it so it doesn't matter how much it costs.

Right, for as nice as it would be to know I fear that when it gets unlocked we will be ignoring previous plans and focusing on new shinies.

So I really hope we finish unlocking the middle dantian first if only so we don't drop that project at the almost done stage.

Agreed my main priorities still are:
get 50 Yin to upgrade our dice to 2D8 + 1D8
get more yin siphons for +1 to all rolls/ refine our mind with reflection /unlock he middle dantian/ get one more action for Li(all about the same priority)

get 50 Yin to upgrade our dice to 2D8 + 1D8
What do you mean with 2D8+1D8?
The 50 Yin thing Upgrades to 2D8 and being in specialty doubles it.
So 4D8 when in specialty.

refine our mind with reflection
Yeah, looking forward to that and filling the skill levels (until comprehension+1) through doing Alchemy, selling the results, and then buying training.

Probably quickest way:
Refine muscles twice to reach capstone.

I do expect that unlocking some of the bloodline stuff would see a shift in focus and priorities, mostly because that's your main "cheat" as it were.

Then again, I expected that would have already unlocked it by this point, I also expected you'll be working on the action to find what the hell happened to the Guang, goes to show what I know.

[ ] Condense Qi in Guang Li Dantian. Cost 2 (3 for later stages) Qi per time taken [28/135]. Advance to QC 3 high. (total actions: 1 water).
-[] use X Qi (Default is pure so only include this if you're using another type).

[ ] Refin Guang body. variable cost.
-[ ] Refine his muscles. Cost 4 Qi per time taken [32/120]. Refined muscles IV (+4 Strength).
--[ ] Refine his muscles. Cost 5 Qi per time taken [0/240]. Refined muscles V (+15 Strength) last stage. finish getting Muscles IV first.
So if we want Immortal II then Muscles V would be the simplest, it'd just also require a lot of Blood Qi. Less if we can open our middle dantian, but that'll take time as well.
QC 5 takes a lot more progress but the qi we need for that is also fairly cheap, and gives us better gains in return, especially since we'll need to reach a certain stat minimum.
Then again, I expected that would have already unlocked it by this point, I also expected you'll be working on the action to find what the hell happened to the Guang, goes to show what I know.
The progress requirements are so high I imagine it's too easy for the Wisdom ghosts to justify going for lower hanging fruit.

Exactly, the fact this list is as long as it is is why I fear none of them will be completed before we unlock the cheat bag and spend several turns distracted by low hanging fruit cheat abilities before rationalizing a plan

I focus on the middle dantian only because we invested ancestral shards in it.

1. The Guangs were one of the Four Great Powers, so the only group who could take down the Guang is another Great Power.

2. Therefore, Lil Guang simply becomes strong enough to crush all three of the Great Powers at once, he'll be sure to have avenged the Guangs.

3. Conclusion: Lil Guang doesn't need to know what happened to the Guangs. He sure needs to focus on gitting gud. *taps nose*

Not really?
*2 from blood
*2 from pill
(5d10+8)*2*2
median 142

Li has a 98.71% chance to finish muscles 4 in 1 AP.

Muscles 5 is 2 average Li AP finishing it with a chance of 89.57%

4+2*5=14

It isn't nothing, but it should be doable with a bit of hunting.

--[ ] Refine his muscles. Cost 5 Qi per time taken [0/240]. Refined muscles V (+15 Strength) last stage. finish getting Muscles IV first.

Alternatively, some of the omake points that have been saved up could be used on Lightning Qi. I'd be willing to add those I have, if someone wants to try that. As well as my rerolls. If the pill to double results is saved for the second stage, 9 Qi should be needed, which is 27 points total. Rerolls mean that failure goes from 2 and 10 percent to something much safer.

Edit: Spelling and added clarification on my thought process.

Negaverse: Turn 33

Scion Blessed by the Heavens

You, after the Verdant Flame fell into ruin, decided to hedge your bets, as it were, and leave for greener pastures. Perhaps too green, given that you had decided to follow Hwang Li into the Poison Fang Valley, but you had a good feeling about him, and your hunches had paid off before. Besides, you weren't so attached you wanted to stay with a sect that was soon to be falling apart.

Your route chosen and your last minute sales finalized, you met Hwang Li (and the surprisingly large group he'd managed to recruit) a fair way outside the sect. While you, not leading the expedition, won't have the final say in the path, you do have a choice to make.

Do you reveal the location of the Sacred Pool of Absolute Purity to Hwang Li and his companions? While the Sect is unlikely to be in any position to punish you for revealing its secrets, you would be betraying its trust.

Seems simple enough. Betraying trusts is bad.

…the sect…isn't a person? And it's not like the pools are going to be damaged by a group of…what, 4? Using them. No real loss.

Huh, that is a surprisingly large group. Anyway, we've thrown in with the kid. No point in holding back now. Besides, our Blessed by the Heavens means that it won't go that badly!

Riu's already told us that if we use that to take stupid risks, he will have no trouble reminding us that the heavens are fickle!
But besides that, I do agree with @TheCrocodile1. For once. I still maintain that sticking to some random kid was a dumb idea, but there's no point in going halfway.

@uri Wrote a Negaverse!
