Ok, now how do we deal with the fact that he is some sort of world ending alien thing that is still willing to destroy the world in a year?

I can think of something, but still. How do we make him blend in? I need some sort of justification for him to blend in.

How about having him appear in his human form just with the same abilities as his Octo-form? Most people don't know what he actually looks like, so it should be okay as long as he is warned that he can't tell anyone who does not know about his background.

Just make up a story where he was a regular teacher once before an evil group of scientists gave him superpowers in a mad attempt to control the world or something. And he somehow busted out because the evil scientists completely underestimated the success of their experiment.

He's very much refuge in audacity

Huh. So he does not bother trying to hide himself.

Well, this is....

Hold the phone.

Human form?

Can he shape shift? It looks like he has some minor shape shifting powers from the description, but has he ever demonstrated blending into a crowd to assassinate someone? (As a highly skilled assassin, I imagine he might have something like this.)

He can use a standard disguise (and demonstrated this in the series). He can wear a hat and bushy mustache and change his skin color. He usually let's his students find him, but if he really wanted to, he could almost certainly appear human given his shapeshifting abilities. He might change colors if he is angry or emotional though, but this probably is, at least partly, one of his "weaknesses" that he plays up to encourage his students.

Edit: I have not read the recent chapters, but @SlyOverlord is probably right, it was hinted that he was once human.

The latest few chapters actually reveal his background and we even see what he looks like as a human.

But you best be careful about reading that since shortly before the flashback, an absolutely unexpected and awesome plot twist occurred. Lets just say that you would not look at one character the same way again.

More bad news.

I lost the update. I left it on an open tab on my laptop, here on SV without saving it to a word document.

My laptop has...issues.

Yeah, lets go with issues. As in it dies if unplugged.

Now you remember my....nice little brother who barrows my laptop a lot?

He unpluged it. On accident. After an argumnent last night.

Needless to say, I am pretty pissed off, but can not prove jack shit.

So, the update is going to take a while, maybe a few more days at this rate.

@Tsjoat
That kind of thing is always a pain. Did that feature of SV that automatically saves drafts of posts you're in the progress of typing kick in and help out at all?

Gendo rubbed his forehead as Dumbledore and Kakashi stood infront of him.

The ninja had a yellow, plump lemon with a grenade pin.

The Wizard had a pez dispenser labled "Soul Candy".

"Do I even want to know?" Gendo asked as the wall that was blasted in half started to slowly regenerate.

"Nope." Kakashi said with a eye smile.

"I can not say I fully understand what just happened." Dumbledore said with a confused face.

Kakashi smacked Dumbledore's back, and the Candy flew out of his mouth.

"What did I miss?" Dumbledore asked.

"I take it you don't remember what just happened." Gendo asked, and Kakashi sighed as Dumbledore shook his head.

"Moving on." Kakashi said while pulling out a file, and continued.

"This one has a special note in it." Dumbledore had a slight smile on his face, and Gendo wanted to pull out his hair.

"It's a sticky note." Kakashi said in defence. Every single one of the files had a special note in it, just in the special notes section.

"What does it say?" Dumbledore asked in curiosity.

"That this person must be interviewed by Gendo Ikari, and only Gendo Ikari. It states that he has meta knowledge, which is discribed as knowing the univeral origins behind all of the main and sub characters. All he has to do is concentrate, and he can figure it out."

Gendo arched an eyebrow, and asked what he was being applied for.

Gendo felt a little uneasy about this next one, he knew about many of the story lines of the students, and teachers. Including himself.

"Come in, Mr.Teh, you are on time."

"I am deeply flattered by the opportunity to be interviewed by the Gendo Ikari for the illustrious position of History Teacher at your elementary school for main characters.

*Looks at file, adjusts glasses.*

I see that you have been applied by this ROB for History Teacher? But your qualifications seem to point at English teacher....Would you any insight as to why he would do that?"

"If you will indulge me in Socratic method for a moment, then I can only answer that with another question."

*places one arm behind his back, lifts palm into the air as if gripping a glass of wine*

"Why does one Gendo Ikari, leader of NERV and one so incapable of managing children that a 14 year old autistic clone of his dead wife, one that had imprinted upon him, mind you, betrayed him for his socially incapable of mentally damaged son fill the position of Principal of an elementary school run by that same ROB?"

"The answer to both these questions, Mr. Ikari, is fuck if I know."

"I do, however, admit to considering myself a student of history. And as the Lord knows, there are enough useless English Majors filling the job market as it is. I would rather have an applicable skill than one associated with incompetence and failure." Gendo did not react to the accusation, but was none the less annoied.

"You make a point on my lack of caring for the children....but part of that was because I simply did not care. I gave them someone to watch over them. Their happiness was not my concern...."

Gendo leveled a look at Mr. Teh.

"This time it is, and for obvious reasons." Being his own health, safety, and to live with his wife once more.

"Now, it seems that you answered my question, you feel that English is useless and History valuable. Considering the sort of people who walked though my doors recently, you are not even close to the least qualified." Gendo neglected to say it was because he wasn't a raw malevolent thing of energy spewing out lizard or two mothers that made him look like a half way decent parent.

"What threat did the ROB level at you to get you to come to the interview?"

"Well...Less a threat and more an offer of cooperation, really." TehChron glanced at a point a few inches to the right of Gendo's head.

"You see, I appear to be plagued by malicious gods of causality. In exchange for the incredibly convenient power to induce salt within reach of an aura of mine, I happen to have luck which would cause Lancers, a species categorized by both their habit of killing themselves on accident and love of phallic weaponry, to feel pity for me."

TehChron paused.

"In exchange for my services in teaching the valuable lesson of learning from the mistakes of yesteryear, I will have the watchful eye of the Sufficient Velocity dice turned towards another hapless victim. I intend to recommend wdango if I'm allowed to have some input on the process."

TehChron then paused again.

"And I'm far from the least qualified. If anything given my breadth of knowledge and ability to not get distracted by some ill-conceived ulterior motive I'm probably the most qualified person you're ever going to interview at this school, Mr. Ikari...."

"Not that I won't be looking for ways to entertain myself, of course."

Gendo hummed, and considered his words.

Having someone who was Genre savvy would be useful, but not quite that useful. It was the luck that would be useful, such luck could make everything so much easier for the school.

"I suppose then that you would not mind moving to this place, leaving everything and everyone behind? If so, then we might have a job for you here." Gendo rose, and offered to shake TehChron's hand.

"Of course." TehChron rose to accept the offer.

"I will call you if you are in fact the best candidate for the job."

"I look forward to hearing the good news from you, Mr. Ikari."

Good news? There was such a thing? Gendo thought to himself as he examined the city.

The city was being built, and rapidly.

Several companies from other dimentions were present and accounted for.

The worst part was each of them wanted to control the city, by any means nessassary.

Some guy named Andrew Ryan wanted to control the powerplants, but ShinRa Corperation pretty much beat them out. Some crazy women wit fake rabbit ears was trying to have something called Infinite Stratos become a thing here.

The pokemon centers were uncontested with Silf Co providing the technology, GENOM was playing hardball with the infrastructure, and Umbrella Corperation was competing with Black Mesa for technological rights over something Gendo was fairly certain that Aparture Labs created based off of Cave Johnson's and GlaDos's interview.

The Schnee Dust company was teaming up with Stark Industries for creating a wireless energy broadcast system, using both normal electricity and magical energy, effectivly putting themselves as the chief competitor with ShinRa Corperation who changed to deal with both.

ShinRa threatened with SOILDER, but Schness Company sent out Huntresses to defend themselves. Preemptively.

A brief fight and intervention by ROB showed that hostile take overs have a limit to how hostile you are allowed to get.

Gendo admired the scene, a whole city block was gone where it was just built the day before.

Of course, this city needed a system of government, but captialism seemed to be the running theme.

And people were already declaring candidacy, before half of the estimated population arrived.

Then the argument over what sort of government, the hows and whys....

Maybe he should do something about it.

The ROB in question said they could rule themselves how they wanted, but the school would have a say.

This meant that regardless of what style of government was chosen, the School would effectivly be a branch of the government.

This also meant that people were trying to gain his support.

That made things...complicated. If he did not take sides soon, everyone would be against him, including the winner.

Granted, he could just tell them to fuck themselves, but it has not reached that point. Yet.

He needed to manage the situation, but school started in a few days.

"Dumbledore?" Gendo asked, and Dumbledore nodded his head.

"I am going to be gone for a few days, I have some....bussiness to take care of.

TSAB was allowed to come and go, but if they tried to take anything or anyone, they would be destroyed. The ROB made sure of that.

They were also Gendo's first targets for diplomacy, seeing as they had orbital supremacy and outside resources. All companies had to build from scratch, but were allowed to bring in workers and materials three times a year, one way trip here. Only TSAB was allowed to come and go as they pleased.

They were displeased with the fact that their most powerful mages were taken, deaged, and wiped of their memories. Gendo had to explain that he had no control over the situation at the time, this was quite itterally the whim of a deranged god.

The ROB gave TSAB a drawback, they were not allowed to take an offical part of the government. Working with Gendo as a contibuitor allowed TSAB a way of having some say in this Government.

Now that he had a resource chain that surpassed everyone else, he would need to dominate the constuction of the city. Right now it looked like a collage art project with the clashing styles, and there was no clear infrastructure for water or power. The city was being built before the government had a chance to orginize thing.

So the best option? Ask everyone to stop building for a moment, and send representives to the school for a meeting regarding the constuction of the city.

Authors note:

The city is devided into 32 sections at the moment, none of which are orginized to work with the other. None of this accounts for housing or public places like parks or malls. Various factions have risen to try to control the city, this has not worked out for various reasons. Sienar for example is working with the Jedi in their own area of the city, making a temple. ROB does not want them to make a school, but the Jedi argue that this is not a school. They are setting themselves up as a independent police for via the Jedi. Many people do not like this. Gendo will have to deal with these sort of situations.

[ ] Write in 5 Chefs for the school, I need 15 but I want ideas from more then just one person with a popular vote.

The next few "Updates" are going to be small and mostly for voting.

edit: as for anyone who was hired eariler, everyone listed in the Tables back on page 18 was hired, but only the top five are pernament. So long as they live or remain sane.
