Gangster Squad Redux - One Crimefighter At Sufficient Velocity...

Copper archetype gets weapon proficiency for free. The skill points I used my MAP and SAP on. Oh and all my GAP and leftover trait points went into physical stuff. Edit: So I should only be 3 points over. Which I'm hoping O_S will allow because built in knucks are pretty integral to the character. If not I can ditch a perk.

Unrelated note, I discovered that with Class 3 and the Moneyed background, Professor Proton can have tricked out eyes and still afford a railgun. On that note...

4 MAP Banked

3 SAP Banked
Eye Augments: Technicolor, Eagle Eye, Dark Vision, Glare Guard, Darklight, Retractable Armored Casing, Beam Eyes (Ignition Rifle)

Inventory: Pulsar, Linear Rifle

Getting the pulsar actually puts me 25 bucks over my spending limit. So, if I want my railgun I'm probably going to have to ditch it. And honestly, the Professor can't even use the Linear rifle. Having minimal steadiness and no grit. But damn it, railguns!

Hey Sketch; this is unrelated to Gangster Squad, but do you think the "Queen of Cities" would be an appropriate moniker for Anglia? Surely the arrogant Anglians would think to call their city by such a name.

Also, will this setting have Mongol-esque horse nomad raiders? Or Barbary corsairs plundering the seas? I'm sure Adventure Awaits could use such things.

Also, what was the name of those people who were supposed to live in the frozen wastelands? Nordiskygge?

My computer is back in commission so I think I can run stuff again. How does Friday sound for y'all?

Also, going to try to write up new medical (well, specifically, "Penalty Management") mechanics tommorow. Something to look forward to; the difficulty to stop ongoing will now be the same as the ongoing itself, so each success you get will reduce the ongoing by 1. That means more reliable blood loss stopping and less turn after turn of an incompetent servo letting Lin bleed out in front of a sniper. :D

Friday would be Saturday-ish for me.

Dunno if I'm available at that time but I'll see what I can do. It'd be nice to get back in the saddle.

That actually just made me realize that certain weapons like pump-action shotguns and bolt-action rifles need to require both hands to operate, period, because of their manual nature.

I gotta figure out how to word that.

Like Dash said, add a manual tag and then write up an Auto-shotgun if we don't have one already.

I feel like a one handed shotgun pump thing would probably require a perk. Especially if you are going to do it with two shotguns at the same time in the middle of a firefight. It would probably also require a dex check and if you fail the shotgun misfires. But... it would be pretty cool.

Hmmm... if you had a funky ammo belt that had like breakaway straps keeping the shells in place, I could see someone dual wielding breech loaded shotguns. On an unrelated note, I think when I rework E8 I'm gonna see if I can't turn him into the ULTIMATE SNIPER. Though that's pretty counter to his initial incarnation of being a crazy murder hobo that was really good at throwing things.

Carver M9 Tactical Shotgun

An extremely expensive military piece designed for UNMC black ops teams, the Carver 9 is a semi-
mythical weapon, highly sought by criminals. A shotgun capable of fully automatic fire, using 8

Gauge rounds to ensure proper cycling, the Carver can put a solid wall of lead downrange. Best of

all, the detachable magazine ensures constant rapid fire. However, in order to keep it under control,

the weapon had to be made rather heavy.

They are. But I have a feeling that price is not accurate. Either that or I copy pasted from an older file.
