Yes, it does and it even has special properties.
The Library Island, however... has some. Some areas that are closed off and hence have distinct "properties" count as dungeons. Sufficiently holy or cursed areas can count too.

I reaaaally want to nudge her into being friends with the LIbrary Exploration Club. I could see her getting along with them relatively easily and their levels shouldn't be insane like half the class.

They are the librarians, the have badass training in survival and CQC, being a librarian is no small job you know.
 
I guess that not knowing that the options menu would have been the next tutorial pushed us to mention it before, but it's no real problem.
the dungeon creation will probably need an hint to unlock though.

They're probably the highest level characters outside of the freaks of nature(Eva, Zazie, Chao) and the professional warriors(Mana, Setsuna, Kaede, Chachamaru). Librarians might not have much combat skills, but they have amazing levels of survival and danger awareness skills.

Akira and Makie have higher levels.
 
So, I've been wondering, who aside from Eva of the 2-A will have a level above 50?

Zazie, Chao, and Mana are shoo-ins here, I'd say, though all of them might also have ways to hide their actual levels. They certainly have reasons to do so.

Moving along, Setsuna already has considerable training and experience as a Shinmeiryuu swordswoman. At the start of the Mundus Magicus arc, she's considered by Fate the greatest threat in Ala Alba, and she shouldn't have had much training between now and then, what with her stalking Konoka all the time. So I'm vouching she will have one of those neat ?? above her head.

Kaede is another contender, though she lacks actual experience in comparison to Setsuna. She does have that chuunin rank already, though, and her fight with Albireo certainly shows that she has the skills to back that title. At the very least, she will be close to that line, possibly the highest level classmate Chisame will be able to perceive.

The more questionable one is Satomi. She is not a combatant but her scientific prowess is formidable enough to rank her that high, I'd say.

On a semi-related note, I somehow feel that Yue's Int stat will make Chisame feel inadequate when she Analyzes the lazy philosopher.

Ku Fei. Her martial arts were capable of blasting demons. She certainly qualifies as high-level. At the least, her Str rivals Yue's Int.

I considered her, but then minuseven pointed out that competitive athletes hang about level 10. Sure, Ku Fei is WAY above them but not THAT much, I'd say. She also doesn't have anything except purely physical techniques right now, not even ki harnessing. While her skill is already beyond reproach, the lack of awareness of the supernatural limits her to normal human limits.

By the time of the Magic World arc, she will be there, certainly. But she had probably the most growth of all major characters between Negi's arrival and Ala Alba's departure for Mundus Magicus.

I haven't listed Chachamaru for similar reasons - she doesn't have the upgrades that made her truly viable in high level combat yet.

Except ki. Loads and loads of ki, harnessed, refined, focused, shaped, and directed to explosive effect by her will.

Actually, I expect her physical stats to be fairly high as well. The girl has spent pretty much her entire life honing her body into the most perfect fighting machine she could imagine. She gets penalties from still being only 13-14, but other than that, she should have stats as high as a normal human can possibly be.
